Do MITB cash-ins have special rules about title changes? Because it would be great to see somebody cash one in only to get smacked by a chair or kicked in the balls, win by DQ and not get the title.

Surprised how seriously everyone is taking that McMahon backstage bit. I thought it was just Vince making fun of himself and winking at the fans for his obsessions with big juiceheads, and Stephanie was making fun of herself over stuff like that ridiculous Austin/WMXXX rumor that was going around.

Dear God that ATX crowd was AMAZING. Only town where people order their Cena shirts a size too small. The Texas trolling by Heyman and Dutch was glorious, too. RVD is great, last guy on earth with an undercut and just out there to put on a show for old school fans. Good stuff. Wyatts need to lay off the promo vids and do more beat downs and shit. Also, the three rednecks beating up Truth didn't come off too well in recap form with no context. Ha. Bryan was of course fantastic. I didn't really believe that Maddox was trying to ape Bischoff until I found out how old he was...now, sure, it all makes sense. Loved how creepy and cheesy those beard stroking "yessss...but wait until he faces the REAL enemy mwahahahaha!!!!" skits were.

I've actually heard her compared to Geddy a few times now. I can hear it. Solid album. This is really good shit. I saw this bit of news and honestly just kinda rolled my eyes. I get the vinyl resurgence--even if you're not some cranky old early Gen Xer or Boomer who wants to hear "fuzz", it's still cool to have the big piece of artwork and I enjoy having to pay enough attention to what I'm listening to to flip it. Also, the portability of digital frees up your shelf space for records. But really, is there any reason to collect tapes beyond nostalgia? I mean, sure, they're much more practical than fucking CDs, a completely useless tweener technology, but it all seems a bit too trendy. I miss getting mixtapes in the mail as much as anyone, but the resurgence seems bunk to me. I kind of get broke ass indie labels making tapes because they're cheap, but "International Cassette Store Day"?

No way on RVD's hair. He's an aging stoner and that's how it should stay. And Jericho needs to grow his back, it's still pretty thick and won't stay that way forever. I did enjoy the match, though. Good Raw. Really only fast-forwarded the first hour. Love how over Bryan is. Wyatt's are great. Truth spending all that time on that awful rap and then getting destroyed was fantastic. Henry/Shield is great. Enjoyed the return of batshit AJ. Any word on why they'd cancel Bryan/Barrett?

Oh those fans are awful, sure. Especially when they're part of the anti-Cena crowd. Trashy wrestling fans in general are part of what makes the show so great, hence the "worst of the worst" description to specify that we're talking about that same Jeff Hardy-type crowd. And Orton totally looks rapey slithering around the ring, you know this is true. I hadn't watched the guy wrestle since just after Evolution until they stuck him in the same ring with Bryan, and the whole schtick still just isn't for me. I'll give that video a chance, though. But my larger point is that the guy is super over and he's not going anywhere unless he gets busted again.

Orton has great appeal to the worst of the worst in trashy wrestling fans. He's got the awful tattoos, the douchey haircut, the Ed Hardy vibe, he has nicknames that sound like they were penned by a third grade boy, he creeps around the ring like a rapist, he's an ugly dude that looks like what ugly people think attractive people are supposed to look like, he cartoonishly drops his voice when he speaks--he's always going to be over. And dear God, he'd be the biggest thing to ever hit TNA. You're always going to have to deal with this kind of character in wrestling, just as you'll have to deal with characters that only appeal to kids and folks like FSW will always have to deal with characters that only appeal to smarks. It's why we have DVRs for selective viewing. That said, I kind of see the sense in him winning. Bryan probably has a title shot coming up, anyway, and Punk has the Lesnar storyline. You don't just wanna throw that on RVD, either. Christian LOL I apparently don't mind Sandow as much as some of you, because I didn't really have a problem with that.
