  1. I did a second successful 50 waves on regular last night. It went much smoother than my first and was just a couple of minutes over an hour. Time passed so quickly I hadn't realized it went that long till I saw the timer just before the final boss fight. Will say the attunement deal doesn't feel like its working right. Its supposed to be 50% drop rates from Onslaught and emblems with Shaxx, but it seemed more like 30% when I tried it with Hung Jury. I only found 3 while I got probably 8 or more of the other other weapons. Can't complain too much since I found some good Recluse rolls though i have still yet to find a Master-At-Arms roll.
  2. It came out a few years ago that Osprey wasn't the one behind the blackballing though he was still an asshole about the situation.
  3. Evil might be too strong a word but was the one I chose because I think Boyd's acts and mindset go beyond just being a bad person. I don't think the Ghoul is evil, just a complete cold bastard doing what he can to survive and achieve his goals. Some of his acts are absolutely cruel though also still play into his own survival and are arguably within reason in the Wasteland despite the cruelty.
  4. Finished the show. I have somewhat mixed feelings on it though overall its really good. It captures the games kind of perfectly including a side quest or two and does well with character building for the most part. The weakest part is probably related to the Moldaver character who it feels like we never really got a full picture of. The portrayal of the Brotherhood was interesting. It feels darker, but it also makes sense in a way as I have trouble seeing so all of the West Coast be so positive about the changes Maxson brought. Maximus and co. in particular noticeably lacked the discipline & training we see on the East Coast in the games. Goggins's Ghoul is one of the highlights. He is an incredible bastard even compared to Boyd Crowder yet is probably still less evil. That man chews scenery every time he is on the screen be it as a ghoul or even before the bombs dropped despite being less intense. The two biggest aspects give me mixed feelings despite being rather good are the following: My other issue is of course related to the New Vegas. Even with mixed feelings I really dug the hell out of the show. I'm curious to see where things head in S2 as there is plenty more to explore.
  5. I get the feeling Marathon and Destiny aren't sharing much in the way of resources as far as people go. The feeling I have gotten from what little has been said of Marathon on the dev side is that the people who went over to it essentially were tired of/done with Destiny. I don't fathom them wanting to return. If Marathon flops its more likely we see more releases opposed to most of the team moving over to Destiny, be it 2 or 3.
  6. 4 episodes in, and I'm digging the show a good deal. It very much feels like the world of Fallout, and the character drama/dynamic with Lucy and the Ghoul is solid.
  7. Limitations makes sense as it means people just might actually still use the older subclasses as well. Made it through all 50 waves of Onslaught finally. GIves a pretty good amount of loot like the Coil though just like the Coil it can take forever if you don't have a good loadout or team. Took me 90 damn minutes. I do have all 6 weapons from week 1 now. Shockingly my first two rolls on the sword are essentially the god rolls, including a random curated roll. That of course means the one I got from Shaxx afterward sucked.
  8. That a shame to hear though I've been expecting to hear it with the lack of info on him the past few years. I enjoyed his AJPW, and his team with Ryota Hama was legit fun and good.
  9. Possibly, but Lyra's issues have always been more character related than anything else. The reactions she has gotten on major shows twice now were apathy or straight up boos because the heel she faced was far more popular (Stratton) and, in Roxanne's case, more likable/understandable. Those fighting spirit type of losses work best when they crowd is already behind you to some degree.
  10. Probably an hour. Its very much not something that can easily be rushed through without a proper LFG style Fireteam and probably mic. Even then it will take time. This feels mostly accurate though I will say it will probably still be in the current gen and is probably more 2-3 years away. Its blatantly obvious in hindsight after The Final Shape vidoc from yesterday why Joe and others at Bungie wouldn't commit to future expansion talk after last year's Showcase. They don't want to dedicate that level of time & resources to full expansions when they have another full blown game cooking. This isn't some random decision made the last few months. They have almost certainly been working on this for a year or more already. Just like how there is no chance Prismatic and the Dread came from the delay. They just were trying to keep that shit secret until probably right before TFS's release.
  11. Nearly finished 50 waves only for my dumb teammate to try and revive me at the worst time. Like even just two seconds later and I could have cheaped out with a self-revive.
  12. NXT's opening segment was fine. Tatum turning on Lyra was unexpected but not bad. Will say that the reactions Lyra got here continue to confirm she needs a change from what she is. Roxanne may have just been heeling a month or two back when she said the fans would turn on Lyra when she lost the belt, but they have rung true in the end based on reactions from tonight's crowd. Enjoyed Nattie's challenge and Ava coming out to confirm the title match if only for Roxanne's reaction to each. Kiana/Izzi vs. Fallon/Kelani was pretty solid. All four women work pretty well together and brought on some nice action. Kelani is a solid FIP and had plenty of great offense for comebacks with her crazy athleticism. Will be interesting to see who here ends up in the NA title tournament. Scrypts/Evans was shockingly fun, a great debut for Evans, and probably Scrypts best match in NXT. Roxanne/Nattie was good thought the finish could have been a little stronger with Vice's interference. Stacks/Luca vs. Kemp/Borne was fine while it lasted. Parker/Reece was a match, nothing standout. The Oba/Ivar segment wa salright. I'm all for Oba vs. Ivar. Wolfdogs vs. Frazer/Axiom was another great match. I'm going to be sad if this is the last of Bron & Corbin as a team. they are so damn good. The Final Testament appearance/attack post match was surprising. It feels like a bit of a step back which Kross probably deserves, but AOP really don't Final segment with Trick and Ilja was fine. Good with Trick/Melo in a cage and Trick/Ilja II for the belt over the next two weeks'. Hopefully these are effectively farewell matches for Ilja & Melo. Neither have anything to really achieve in NXT. Two strong title matches, a great debut for Je'Von Evans, and the earlier women's tag made for pretty solid show even if other parts were on the weaker side.
  13. Its moved up a day twice now, neat.
  14. Did around 30 waves of Onslaught before I tapped out. I like it so far. Its using more than Crucible maps. They do have some different angling like they did for Battleground maps. And its nice that we can actually choose which maps to play. Managed to get Succession, Edge Transit, Hung Jury, & Recluse so far. I think we have 6 weapons that be found randomly via waves, and the rest come from bounties first before they become random drops in Onslaught and from chests. No Hammerhead, Luna's Howl, Blast Furnace, or Midnight Coup this via just going off of the collections tab. They were missing when I checked earlier. Elsie's RIfle seems to be the first weapon to gain from a bounty quest.
  15. She loves the role. She is one of the few wrestlers around who just wants to be a character opposed to being the world champ.
  16. Just saw the stream. Wow, just wow. Poor Datto's mind must be broken right now. Cross is probably the same, just in the complete opposite direction. Prismatic is some insane levels of power creep that I'm not sure they can get away from unless its only usable in the Pale Heart. Like they never need a third Darkness class with that shit available. New enemy group was surprising. I suspected it would be more than Subjugators & Tormentors, but still not an entire group. I'm curious how much of this was what they have been working on with extra time vs. what they already had ready. It felt like they were trying to keep secrets during the Showcase back in August. I can easily buy this being those secrets. Whatever the case this is exactly what last year's Showcase should have been and needed to be. I'm officially hyped again for D2. Once again Prismatic has to be Pale Heart only or we are getting D3 sooner than later. The power creep is just oo insane even with the new enemies having some good abilities among them.
  17. Started in NXT at Takeover: London.
  18. Opening segment was a solid 15-20 talking segment that somehow went twice as long as it needed to. I didn't hate it, but fuck was a it way way too damn long to basically leave us with "To be Continued." Ilja/Shinsuke was random but solid as a showcase for Dragunov. The Judgement Day segment was made fun with Truth getting involved. It worked out well as a lead into the 6-man tag and eventual Cena appearance as Awesome Truth's partner. Dug how it came together and turned out by the end. Rhea pushing Dom to fight Andrade next week and the subsequent sneak attack by Liv was good to see. There was no need to talk about anything. This has already been a long time coming. I'm curious to see if Liv can stay a face in this feud with Rhea and if we get a stip match out of it. Roxanne/Indi was short but decent and another addition to the continued Candice heel turn mixed with an Indi who still rather be good. Sami/Gable vs. Imperium was pretty solid as expected. Looking forward to Sami/Gable. I don't really want a Gable heel turn, but it will probably be impossible to not happen with the defense happening in Sami's hometown. The setup to Jade/Chelsea was fun. The actual squash was super quick and a bit of a non-factor as a result. Kind of wish Chelsea got stooge a bit and rag things out a minute or two. Drew/Ricochet/Bronson/Jey was good though it felt weird to see Ricochet here with no big achievement compared to the other 3. Loved Drew's promo at the beginning and his reaction to getting cut off by by Jey. The finish was perfect and another nice extra moment of Punk giving Drew the finger. I thought was decent in terms of moving forward a bit and showing what is to come in some of the bigger areas. Ilja & Roxanne were nice surprises. Their appearance here feel like confirmation of both being on their last year as NXT regulars. Now its just a matter of when both come up. Could have used less drinking in the moment of such a big Wrestlemania. I get why they do it, but it always feels like they go overboard about it.

  20. Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns - WrestleMania XL, 4/7/2024 Ilja Dragunov vs. Trick Williams - Vengeance Day, 2/4/2024 Bayley vs. IYO SKY - WrestleMania XL, 4/7/2024 Gunther vs. Kofi Kingston - Raw, 1/29/2024 Sami Zayn vs. Gunther, WrestleMania XL, 4/7/2024 Oba Femi vs. vs. Dijak vs. Josh Briggs - Stand & Deliver, 4/6/2024 Baron Corbin & Bron Breakker vs. Axiom & Nathan Frazer- Stand & Deliver, 4/6/2024 Rhea Ripley vs. Becky Lynch - WrestleMania XL, 4/7/2024 Becky Lynch vs. Liv Morgan - Raw, 3/11/2024 Nia Jax vs. Becky Lynch - Raw, 3/4/2024 Much of the second half ranks around the same for me with a bunch of fairly good matches I could slot in like Trick/Melo from S&D, Any of the other Nia/Becky matches, Lyra/Roxanne, Rhea/Nia, NCR vs. Judgement Day, etc. WWE has had few blow away great matches so far this year, but there have been plenty of good-really good matches so far. Its been a fairly nice year so far in terms of consistent good wrestling.
  21. Has to be Bash at Berlin or Summerslam if they go that route.
  22. I think the rule is they can remask after 5-10 years. Generally most don't outside of an entrance or special occasion. It was a special occasion for Blue Panther, and it seems he legit got permission from the Commission to remask for the match.
