Dayum…I feel sorry for the 49ers even more now. For them to stay so motivated and team oriented after that game, after this season, at this point in the season wow. The rest of players could have went in business for themselves any of the many ways that they sometimes do when a team is in disarray, and it would have probably been written off as nothing long term. But they didn’t and it’s going to be sad at the end.

The Eagles know that winning is all that matters however it comes at this point IMO, especially after where they were around this time last year. I know the coach doesn’t have the most fans but he’s kept the team together and playing hard and what look like ugly wins are just them finally catching some breaks. That will continue in the tougher games IMO. The Bills are in bigger trouble IMO. I’d said that the Rams game was just an example of the good team losing 1 more sometime in December, and even less urgent because they actually mounted the comeback which the good team doesn’t always do. I didn’t know the had the Lions next. Holy cow. They could do everything right and still get crushed. And they could also win the game. The Lions have to lose 1 more too. It will be funny if that happens while the Chiefs fans spin it how the regular season doesn’t matter like they always do about the Bills while they pretend not to be shook.

The Eagles whooped them all up and down the field and the score was closer than the game truly was. They’re still good, especially if Kupp and Nacua are finally back for good. I think yesterday was just a typical example of a top team losing their last game in December like happens every year. The fact that the Bills mounted but didn’t make a comeback says how good they really are. They could have failed to do that and been given all but a free pass for it but they didn’t.

I think the Bills could take the Ravens in the playoffs. It’s already took the flukiest crap ever for them to lose to the Chiefs. The Ravens have their own voodoo problems in the playoffs and they’re nowhere near ready to overcome it like the Bills are theirs IMO. Heck they could beat the Rams. The Rams have scored points all year except for those 2 weeks vs the Bears and Packers and I’m just assuming 1 of the 2 WRs was out if not both of them because they’ve both missed games.

Bills are safe across the board. They’re safe by the math, they’re safe as far as their own motivation, feelings etc and they’re even safe to the masses like you said. It’s rare to be safe in every regard after a loss but the Bills are.

I’d do the old hike it and run backwards and slide trick

I thought the Bills D had it in them to get a stop here at clutch time. They only didn’t before because of McVay’s advanced move. But it definitely wouldn’t have been automatic. And anyway everything just went for the Rams today, including the refs when it was the only way left.

It wasn’t just the fact that he went on 4th. He was considering it on 3rd, which gave him the chance to go conservative enough on 3rd. Then because nobody else thought about it that conservative play got more yards than usual. The Bills got hosed by the refs here at the end which an even bigger shame than usual because this wasn’t some passhappy era 35-44 game with inflated stats. This game had defense and hitting in it and every point was truly earned.

Ooouuuuuffff the center did the head thing on the touchdown. Not the one where everybody saw it I mean. He did it again on the touchdown.

Superior coaching by McVay though wow. Nobody considered 4 downs which wasn’t really a stretch like when you normally don’t consider it.

Allen is so good too. I thought that call was ticky tack but here’s what happened there - he’s scrambling and faking the lateral with one hand and signaling for a horsecollar call with his other because he’s not even worried about hitting the ground in the next second.

I hope Douglas is ok but as for Kupp, he’s a GOAT and that was a GOAT catch. He caught it in double coverage, caught it with his knee that was bleeding and took a man out. Straight out of 90s football that time.

I wouldn’t be worried for the Bills either. The Rams are a very good but not great team, and that’s the kind of team that always steals the 1 win from the best team 1 more time before they win out. Bills fans should know that because that’s been their jam for much of these years. They might even be ready to just go home because there was 0 effort on that last touchdown. 2 guys had the tackle and didn’t even try to wrap up, even though they weren’t fooled by the misdirection. They just flung and missed and he went in untouched.

I just saw the Panthers and Eagles stuff and that was an alltime great move by Young on that last pass that will go unnoticed because the pass was incomplete. The Panthers should probably stick with Young and Canales. They have played better every week for a long time.

The Bills were overdue for a loss. A loss way out there to the Rams is the least worrying loss they could have so so be it if they lose. I’d almost they just lost than went into the magic hat to win again because that’s not going to work for forever. Granted you can’t say that from watching the Bills so far.

Anybody who thinks Brady is a bad color man needs to imagine Cris Collinsworth calling that Nacua catch. Imagine that for a second. That’s a bad color man.
