  1. If he’d have waved for a fair catch you’d be right but he didn’t do that.
  2. That Iowa call was an alltime bad call. We say that about every week but dang. I can’t even think of how they’re going to explain it. Usually you know what they’re going to say. You know they’re full of crap, but you do know what they’re going to say to tread water. This time I don’t even know. As for my Seminoles, it’s a good thing that barnyard football is the thing going now because that’s what we play and that’s what bails us out even when we mess up doing it. We mess up but it’s always just a matter of time until whoever we’re playing does something else barnyard style and blows it.
  3. That Sting promo was weak as f*^%. The end was well done, but not enough to save it.
  4. It’s definitely been called twice before…to my rage lol! Especially at the ends of games when it hadn’t been called all game in a chippy game where shit happened everywhere.
  5. They couldn’t cal 2 PIs in a row to end a dang game. The first one was definitely PI though. It’s about impossible not to commit PI by rule when you actually defend the TE over the dog like throw. That usually works because the TE gets back there free.
  6. The throw since by Allen wasn’t the best throw but it wasn’t the duck that it looked like if you saw the replay. He had to lob it over that pursuing guy’s head and hands and that guy made the play more than Allen blew it. Where the Bills blew it was by not punting.
  7. That touchdown pass Allen just threw was a pass that no coach would coach, and no quarterback named Rodgers, Manning or Brady would attempt. That’s why I’ll take Allen ftw.
  8. Eagles fans I’d relax. I didn’t see the whole game but what I did see was a scrappy team finally catching a break this week after missing so many all year in the Jets. That wasn’t some game the Eagles weren’t ready to play. That throw on the first drive when Hurts was tackled by 3 guys was 1 of the best throws I’ve ever seen that will be forgotten only because it happened at the start of a game. The run he had to score on that drive was no gimmie either. The 49ers game wasn’t the same after that screen pass that went haywire on their second drive. This will sound far fetched but hear me out. They went right down the field on that first drive without attempting 1 pass except the shovel pass at the goal line. Then they get the ball again off of a turnover down there and what Kyle Shanahan thought was best was not only to call a pass, but a pass that was behind the LoS which made the fact that the OL was controlling the LoS irrelevant. The pass also took forever to develop by design. It wasn’t just the opposite of what was working before, it was the opposite Xs 1000. I mean they might as well be coached by Jimbo Fisher I swear to gosh sometimes.
  9. Purdy doesn’t look shook, but he looks like he’s being beat right now. The truth is I’d be proud of that if I were a 49er. They had to lose a game some time and here they are. If they lose it won’t because Purdy got shook as soon as it started to happen.
  10. Also I was glad to see Terry Bradshaw’s hilarious, sharp little spoof bit he just did. If anybody missed it he said I’M FOCUSED over and over, similar to how Cactus Jack said I’M HARDCORE in that funny promo. Terry is old and sleepy but definitely not old and stupid. He’s still got it when he’s motivated.
  11. Daaaaannnnnnnng this is a big deal for a reason you might not believe. This could be an alltime fun dumpster fire of a game. The Browns will be damned if they’re going to be out dumpster fired. Then the Giants will top it somehow because that’s the rules. The biggest dumpster fire has to be on SNF.
  12. That’s a big arm but the rest of it is no match for another Eagles game imo. The Raiders are about like the Pats were the first few weeks. They’re a good but not great team, whose quarterback really freaking stinks. Everything is planned around his weaknesses which is what you’re supposed to do I know, but when the quarterback has 40 different weaknesses etc etc etc. The Packers are a little better. I don’t know why they abandoned the run. It was tedious and monotonous but it was getting past the sticks every sequence. The Raiders run wasn’t working, but because they didn’t abandon it early it started working and that was enough to squeeze out the win. They haven’t quite broke yet like the Pats did.
  13. Joel Gertner was great. I can’t believe he didn’t get a bigger gig somewhere.
  14. The Chiefs to…it’s for another reason but yeah.
  15. There are so dang many guys on the 49ers team who deserve it. They’ve never quit. Quarterback hurt? No problem. Next quarterback hurt? No problem. Guy carrying the load since quarterback got hurt, now it hurt??? No problem (Deebo those weeks). Lambeau Field and the special teams has to score all the points? No problem. And they’re even better now than they were those years. The 1 fear I have for them though is that Brock Purdy, as awesome and fun as he is, is always 1 death blow away from going down. He’s listen at 6’1 220 but that’s a 1980s WWF TV stat I swear to gosh.
  16. I agree. The Cowboys are a good team. They just weren’t ready to play ball vs the Cardinals. They knew it too and were mad about it, and they were still mad about losing to the 49ers. So there they were a good team with the added quality of being mad with something to prove, and the 49ers absolutely eviscerated them. They didn’t do it by a being cute either which you can always just sense is going to backfire. They just plain beat them with CMC and Kittle. The WRs had catches, but not because they were really necessary lol!
  17. And the Cowboys just goofed the kneel down too. I don’t know what else can happen to them now.
  18. That touchdown was a harder throw than it looked like. I don’t know how good Purdy really is but he has the footwork, the touch, and the precision, and he has the brains and attitude for it. And good for Kittle. He hasn’t been carrying the load this year and I was wondering if he was being phased out or losing a step but he is not. And are the Cowboys going to have done to them what they did to the Giants and Colts on SNF? That’s the only way they could be more embarrassed than they have been by the 49ers the last 2 times. Shan did say they weren’t letting off the gas!
  19. I’ve read that a few places but that’s not the most uncommon play. I think the Lions have ran it a few times under Dan Campbell. I think I remember John Lynch saying the first thing he’d do as a 49er was build a top defensive line. People with no GM experience get it…why don’t GMs.
  20. The Vikings were kinda screwed imo, similar to how the Pats were a couple weeks ago. Would he have caught it? No. Does that matter though? No as the league has explained many times. By rule it was PI and by rule it wasn’t uncatchable because it has to be humanly impossible for any human ever made to catch it. Romo has been unmotivated as has been discussed before. He isn’t even really watching it sounds like sometimes, because when he is watching he’s great. ROFL at Sean Payton. That should go down as a GOAT revenge game but it lost steam since the comments. It’s not even going down as 1 of the biggest accomplishments this week.
  21. The Chiefs are in 3rd gear like they always are this time of year. Because nobody can steal a game or 2 from them, they’ll be there playoff time and if they’re motivated it won’t even be fair. Mac Jones sucks, seriously. I don’t know why people continue to not straight deny it but dance and prance around it. That’s all I got to watch today so Idk what else is going on. I’ll definitely watch the 49ers later. I’m a huge fan of many guys on that team even though I’m not a 49er.
  22. The Steelers must have saw the Miami game because they went ahead and kneeled knowing the Ravens would have enough time for a small miracle.
  23. Somebody loses by running the ball instead of kneeling every so often. Didn’t it happen to Andy Reid of all people? The Alex Smith year?
  24. Stats shmats. Same goes for nExT gEn StAtS. Daniel Jones was getting speared when he caught the hike. Mac Jones has 3 TEs most plays. And they’re telling me he has less time to throw? Daniel didn’t even have to time to run across the field and try to throw it back across the field for an easy INT like Mac did. Meanwhile Bill is catching more hell from the armchair geniuses than ever before and I think that’s a little unfair. He knows it’s not working, but it’s not because of his 3 TE shit. He knows that ain’t worth a shit in 2023, but it’s better than trusting Mac Jones to make any more reads than he already is with even less protection. They’d won a game and almost won the games they lost before Dallas and that was why. Dallas just broke that temporary fix. The real fix is to run an offense that’s not 1000 years old. If Bill won’t do that then I’ll concede that he deserves to catch hell. The fact that that might involve putting a new motor isn’t an excuse now imo.
