I loved that whole feud. I know Arn and Flair did not but I did.

Arn Anderson might have been the second best behind Bret at executing every little thing like it was a big thing. He never took a move off. I think DDTs were done more lazylike as time went on so they wouldn’t all look like killers because a DDT is a killer in real life. But I don’t know. Those double underhook DDTs were dang sure killers. Those didn’t look as crisp because they were such killers that you had to do them soft so’s not to kill the other wrestler but what a move. They’re the least talked about killer IMO.

I mean it’s not all negative…it’s gross and dumb but not totally negative. I wouldn’t find it negative for somebody to write a song about how much bigger my d*^% was than everybody else’s lol! That’s the song that most everybody remembers from the album IIRC. Either way I think being an edgelord is something that he’s not clever enough to come up with. I think he was just a harmless dumbass whose biggest crime is being a dumbass, and I can’t say I haven’t committed that crime. He said things and sang about things and they just weren’t always meant to be taken with all intensity. Sticks and stones etc.

Sound Barrier isn’t my favorite because some of their tries at sounding commercial were just terrible but they’re still cool. I meant to say that the Black Death dude said NO not SO above. That’s straight up perfect thrash metal at the time IMO whether you care about the backstory or not. IIRC the only reason they didn’t get a break is because they made the decision to wait out trying to find another black guitarist who wanted to play that stuff after that other guy died and couldn’t. Then by the time they considered getting somebody else they were just another thrash band. David Allan Coe is as racist as Helloween is Satanic IMO. I can understand still not wanting to listen to that stuff but I still like it. I don’t think I’ve ever heard the KKK song I’ll have to t try it later.

Law & Order SVU is the funniest show on TV, and I can’t prove it but I think it’s all done on purpose as the biggest critic spoof ever. The evil guest star is always some old sitcom straight man who hasn’t been on TV in 10 or more years and boom here he is on SVU playing a wacko. Has anybody here ever heard of the band Black Death? I would pay $100 for a properly done documentary on the dude that ran that band. He’s still out doing clubs and podcasts and stuff the last I checked, but it’s all in character. The only time I’ve ever seen him break character is when he’s asked if he ever faced racism from the other bands back then and he says no. EDIT: NO NO NO HE SAID NO sorry. I’m assuming everybody here has heard the Slayer cover of Guilty of being White, but how about the David Allan Coe underground album.

The last few of those got with the times and did what we’re talking about here about as good as it could be done IMO. I still clearly remember the Pantera and Ratt ones from then that minced no words, complete with that idiot comedian that somehow ended up on the Pantera one. They could count the Punk bands in with the metal bands and this could go forever. I think Sid Vicious was on the meme or whatever it is I saw.

I saw something about a Darkside of Metal? But it could have been a meme. I’m in the minority on HIAC and I’d hate to see them destroy it but I guess I better just get mentally prepared for it. All of the episodes look like good ideas. I’m still not over how exactly like Billy Jack Haynes that Mark Gastineau looked and sounded. They both clearly suffer from the same thing IMO. This is the type of thing that would give Billy Jack some peace also fwiw.

The Bears have gotten so much worse wow. The Vikings aren’t up for this game at all yet they’re still winning 10-0 in spite of giving the Bears every kind of break already.

The Packers are trying to give this game away worse than they gave away that NFCCG that the Seahawks didn’t show up for but this Seahawks team just won’t wake up. They suck and their coach sucks apparently. There’s a trend of passing with the backup quarterback it seems like, like they’re going “we’re so smart we’ll call all passes because they don’t think we’ll pass.” Kyle Shanahan nonsense.

Realistically hell no. I was talking more about the NFL Memes crowd and those types.

I was actually betting on the Lions coming all the way back like the Bills did, before the Bills held them off by an inch like the Lions did, but then Campbell called that onsides kick. Now…that also is the inverse of last week and McD’s bad decision was so easy to judge in hindsight. It only happened first so the comeback won’t be on. Of course now everybody will be talking about fire Campbell or some nonsense. It’s all reset. The 2 best teams lost their game they’re going to lose down the stretch now the rest just has to fall into place.

The Lions stopped them Xs and Os wise across the play sheet that whole drive. Only Allen running once the play was stopped kept that drive temporarily alive. He wasn’t so much bailing and balling. The original play just wasn’t there.

I’m not all in for either team so maybe I can enjoy it more.

Wow 10 could been enough…or 7. But then I can’t believe what happened next. Not the 52 yards miss. I think St Brown was actually shook after the hit. He Ricky Watters’d the next one. I won’t say anything else about it again. Everybody gets one and he’s never done it before.

And here’s how good the Lions are. Stopping the Bills down here to go behind by 10 could be enough to turn this game around. It’s all they need to turn it into a route.

Allen might be better than Favre, Young, or McNair at that style of play. I can’t believe I’m saying that but it’s the truth. He might be the GOAT scrambling but not always just running quarterback and you can’t hurt him.

It’s so rare that Goff throws an incompletion for heck’s sake, even in a game they’re trailing in by 14. And it’s not because he’s a checkdown man like other completion % guys.

The Bills tackles and ends are absolutely playing their asses off. Romo drew up the 1 highlight but an even better example was the 3rd down pass on the next drive when the other one held up long enough for Allen to roll, then he came off that block and ran in front of but didn’t block the guy about to get Allen because that would have been a crack back block. I’m assuming the Lions adjusted and left the middle open on purpose on the 3 runs that followed and ended with a touchdown.

That kind of win is usually enough to get a young winning team out of their temporary slump and turn them into a real winning team longterm so good win for the Commanders. Rush is bad. He wasn’t this bad before. Good enough backup is being to nice at this point. He is bad period. That last throw by Allen was a GOAT throw that nobody will notice because it was Favre style. He just made it look easy. One possibility we left out that I don’t want to mention but have to is…Bass. Bills could lose by doing everything right and……..yeah.

I wouldn’t sweat it. The Bills have always been pressed at the end of every season. They have to be glad that that’s not the case finally, and they have to know there are bigger fish to fry. I sure hope Jim Mora isn’t reading this. I don’t usually think that way but it’s the truth in this rare case. The Lions haven’t been good for long enough to know how to downshift yet IMO, and they haven’t even considered trying it. They really could win this thing by 50. But whatever happens I really wouldn’t sweat it. I’ll be pulling for both teams comes playoff time myself.

I might not even get to watch any football today now I’m so mad. It’s possible that the Lions beat the every living s*^% out of the Bills all things considered, and everybody will overreact but I think it changes nothing. If the route is on I’d almost let it be because Allen could get hurt doing the superhero thing. Meanwhile if the Bills win the game everybody will overreact against the Lions, but that just makes this what it was for the Bills last week…every good team loses one down the stretch.

The 49ers are in disarray but the locker room is not. The season is all but over, and they may not contend longterm. But the locker room is still tight. That’s the main reason they also may contend longterm. I just read that the Bills didn’t practice full speed this week because of the weather. They could use the rest physically I’m sure but obviously there’s more to getting ready to play any game, let alone a big one, than rest.

He clearly doesn’t give a shit. I don’t know his contract details but IIRC he was released after a year with the Packers after signing a big contract. I’m assuming he got some $$$ out of that so he might be done in his mind either way.
