Echoing the praise for Almas/Lorcan. Those two have great chemistry and aren't afraid to lay it in. I hope Almas and Black get some time at Takeover as that could be a bit of a sleeper match. Also I hope it is the start of a program and not just Almas putting over a guy. Since his heel turn he is been killing it and hopefully begins to gravitate towards the top of the card. That Asuka squash was beautiful and I really wish we could have gotten a full bore heel Asuka vs Bayley. Ruby Riot vs Nikki Cross has a lot of potential. To hell with it, let's just have a Sanity vs Dillinger's Dudes and Dudette with Attitudes Wargames.

In the best of all worlds we would at the very least get a one off gimmick battle royal out of this with Catamaran and Chet calling the action. The stare down between Sea Creature and La Barba Grande would be epic. A blind crippled Tex Ferguson accidentally eliminating Chad 2 Badd for a win, and yet not realizing he had won, is the only finish.

This is probably the first time a WWE ad tie-in has been done well. It completely fits the concept of the parody and the Ric Flair impersonator is just icing on the cake. It beats the hell out of Enzo the Chicken Fucker at any rate.

I was a little worried considering how much Vince hates southern wrasslin' and their usual brand of "comedy", but yeah clearly they are just letting these guys do what they want and it was pretty great. How more of these guys weren't corpsing is amazing.

All I want from Asuka/Moon is the Eclipse countered into an Asuka-lock. Actually I want a good match, but if they time that right it could be beautiful. When Regal announced the 3 way elimination tag I could almost see the wheels turning in Dawson's head coming up with all the possibilities.

I was really hoping for an Itami turn and for him to voice his frustration at the WWE trying to make him something he is not. Declaring that their creation Hideo Itami is dead...and KENTA has arrived. Then he and Nakamura tear it up. Not likely in any way, but I would have dug it.

Pretty fun show, but yeah that crowd indifference is still a major issue. After being unimpressed by Noam Dar in the CWC, he has become a fav with his sleazy heeling. I really want him to become Neville's lackey after watching some of their interactions in tags. I think the division could benefit from more multi-man sprints and the trios idea is solid. Something that really sets them apart and shows a different level of action and energy. Gallagher is pretty golden, but man I do not care for his finish. It looks nasty, but the set-up is usually contrived and I just think he needs a few other signature moves that can end matches. A submission or a tricked out pinning combination to compliment the dropkick. Kendrick is still killing it as the crafty vet and I hope this stuff with Tozawa keeps building to an epic match. Probably no Burning Hammers needed(or allowed) this time however.

I am not as high on Strowman as the majority of the board, but that was a very well laid out match to let him show some skills he realistically can't show with anyone else. Show gets a lot of flack, but when he is motivated he can still go and does what he can to get others over. An Enzo turn seems over due. He has become quite the comedy geek and he deserved that brogue kick just for the Rusev feud alone. Man the New Day have been FF material for me for quite awhile. Just long tired awful segments. Poor Rusev deserves so much better. Neville and Gallagher will be a ton of fun, but I hope Neville keeps a stranglehold on that belt for quite some time. KO killed it all night, but the overwhelming dread hangs over him for Fastlane and his date with Goldberg. I fantasy booked Hunter having his back and sending Joe to assist KO in sending Goldberg into retirement, but no there is a great Mania main event that just has to happen and for the title. Can't wait for Mania to be over and for them to maybe freshen things up and push full time guys and make new stars. Also hopefully for Charlottes streak to end so we can stop wasting big title changes on RAW.

Damn, I really wish all of this was leading to a match between these two.

Didn't they announce Dunne vs Andrews for next week, or did I dream that up?

I recall during Nigel's early days in HWA some friends and I suggested that for his new theme and he shut the idea down quickly. Am I still bitter? A tad...just a tad.
