http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2015/5/2/8535969/ufc-cuts-four-fighters-from-its-roster-baczynski-bandel-carrizosa-jones-mma-news I expect Jones to probably resurface somewhere soon. Baczynski was a fun fighter and had the coolest sounding hometown (Apache Junction!). But boy, his chin couldn't take damage. He spent so much of his UFC time in a sleeplike state. Too bad he couldn't be one of those win one-lose one guys to stick around. -
Kelly Swanson has been around for a hot minute. She is one of the most trustworthy people in the sport. If you read some of the timelines of actual boxing media people, it has been a mess trying to get credentials for many people. Luke Thomas said he had a credential and then was denied entry to the media tent. You'd think for something this big, they'd be more on the ball. They have a hard time doing this for fights 1/16 the size. However, in those cases, it's people who legitimately cover boxing for a living who get blocked so no one gives a rat's ass. So imagine if everybody from the farther reaches of the Earth try to cover this, and this story pops up. Then, it seems like critical mass and all hell has broken loose.

I wasn't really arguing that especially if you look at what I said in the Random Boxing Thoughts thread. That was more or less stating a truth as to why it isn't in theaters. Plus, the licensing fee to show the fight would be absurd. I see that it is for bars and other places trying show the fight, and they're going after people who try to circumvent that. However, if you look at combat sports, they're behind on pushing and promoting that stuff anyway. When you're that in bed with PPV distributors, the only thing you will be pushing is the traditional way of viewing it. The fact that Mayweather vs. Pacquiao is a ginormous event is only reinforcing that, especially when it took so long to figure out a way to divvy up the revenue.

Is that card on Fight pass or FS1? I'm hoping the latter if not then looks like I be getting fight pass around that time. Fight Pass. June will be FS1 -> PPV -> Fight Pass -> FS1. -

Alexander Gustafsson hurt his back. So your new 6/20 Berlin main event is Jedrezjczyk vs. Penne. -

I would still say Blackzilians/Jaco Hybrid Training Center was a bit more of an outlier then. They were still going through a transition period, where guys kept leaving and then going back (coaches included). It's still going on now, but the core of Greg Jones, Jorginho, Danilo Villefort, Hooft, and Spong are more firmly entrenched. Rashad has even taken on a mentor/trainer role that has worked out way well. Some of those guys on this season of TUF have potential, and I think Rashad can actually help them. Jackson/Winklejohn, along with guys like Izzy Martinez and Brandon Gibson, would be a much different story because they never really had that turnover. They aren't really getting guys just because they are high level and help people improve. They are vetting their own guys and have their own system in place. -
You want the Honeymoon prize merely based on the fact Rose Leslie has to play a woman from "Brooklyn" for almost 90 minutes. I know the editor was like, "What...the fuck?"
