  1. Other than potential fakeness, that's my main gripe. Can you imagine Moshe trying to interview some GOP rep? "I dare you! My mother is a WOMAN!" It wouldn't even engender the obligatory left-wing crowd applause because people know that's just babble. I'm talking meltdown mode.
  2. Moshe gets on my nerves kinda. He is an ultra hipster, but I don't think he would pull in anyone outside a certain demographic. He has moments that don't sit right with me. I remember that one Champs podcast with Anthony Anderson where he (Moshe) was talking about growing up on food stamps in Oakland. Then, Anthony tested his knowledge a bit and you could tell that Moshe had no fucking idea what he was talking about. I think he has this "I identify with you" type of mentality that comes off as fake or inauthentic. I am not saying Stewart never had those moments, but at least Jon can admit he is a bit out of touch and also be a little non PC. If someone tried to challenge Moshe on womens' rights, I think he would be way more passionate than logical based on knowing his opinions. The only upside for having him doing it is Comedy Central knows he will play ball on just about anything. That goes especially compared to a lot of the other suggestions I've seen brought up.
  3. Carla, Aisling, and Felice from the show and the non TUF girls like Joanna, Claudia, Paige VanZant. The other girls are MIA at the moment.
  4. I am thinking more along the lines of what someone already said about that job being his on-the-books one. Either Jimmy gets him fired or he has to quit that post. Either way, his next job would be head of security for Los Pollos Hermanos. I'm pretty sure he is already a cleaner/PI. A guy who pretty much knew no one kidnapped that family wouldn't be working in a hot, sweaty booth all day just to make ends meet. It's about as low profile as you can get. Also, bringing charges against Jimmy McGill would have brought him at least some modicum of attention. That's probably the last thing he needs.
  5. Okay, that makes more sense. I saw one tweet that said don't expect her to fight anytime soon when it happened so I thought it was serious. At least, serious enough to put someone out for awhile. Shit, she will make it back to the cage faster than a lot of her strawweight compatriots.
  6. Popped for a diuretic. During the hearing, I guess one of the commissioners said she was 20 pounds over 2 weeks out and 10 pounds over the week of. She sent a letter to the NAC saying she didn't know what product/supplement caused her to fail.
  7. I thought Bec suffered some type of gnarly injury recently. I didn't click on said IG post because that's not my type of thing.

  14. If anyone wanted to know, the Sakuraba doc on Fight Pass is decent. It's not a ton of stuff you probably didn't know. It is only 24 minutes long and easily formatted to air on FS1 one day. Thus, the documentary hits on all the main points like Sakuraba's link to pro wrestling, the UFC Japan tournament, his early PRIDE run, and the feud with the Gracie family. Since history is written by the winner, it kinda ends on a parting shot directed at PRIDE about how they fed Saku to the wolves later on. On that though: The startling thing about this is that comparing present day Sakuraba's countenance to Sakuraba's old footage makes him look like he is 96 years old. I know everyone has to get old one day, but it really looks like they brought in Kazushi Sakuraba's father to discuss Sakuraba. Either that or he got the mumps.
  15. I am digging that Jimmy basically says hacky movie lines everytime he makes a grand entrance. "Smile, you son of a bitch!" has to be next.
  16. Your issue is with Greg Savage. He put it out there before everything fell into place for what would have been Faber/Assuncao II and Dillashaw/Barao II. Edit: For clarity http://deathvalleydriver.com/forum/index.php?/topic/50-mma-talk/page-207#entry320605
  17. I was hearing about Faber vs. Edgar before Dillashaw vs. Barao II was remade for Montreal.
  18. Well, she can do that obviously. However, it would rough sledding either way. Andrade has benefited from the matchmaking in that she has been kept from the main pack at 135 since the Carmouche fight. I don't even think that's intentional.
  19. Andrade vs. Reneau should be fun. I have a feeling that if there was a 125 division that it would be a battle of the Jessicas: Andrade vs. Eye. Also, poor Barb Honchak.
  20. That's why it's 50/50 fight for me. Dillashaw beat the guy who soundly beat Faber, but I would argue Faber most likely fought a less diminished version of Barao. I also have to take into account that Faber can be a slow starter at times. I will say this though. If Faber knew he could beat Dillashaw, from their experiences in the gym, he would be more adamant about that fight going down. I am not saying that's the be-all, end-all since there are cases where the guy who lost in the gym more frequently won in a live fight (Sonnen-Marquardt comes to mind). However, you know in the back of Urijah's mind that he knows the championship window is gonna close at some point. Maybe TJ loses to Barao, but we could also be looking at someone who just lords over the division like DJ and Aldo. You never know.
