I forgot to respond to you earlier, but I randomly got Mick Foley's recommended to me just the other night, along with a bunch of episodes of that WWE lost treasures show - are those any good? I feel like it's probably just a lot of shit they've got in the warehouse that they plant elsewhere
The show where triple H offers people money for Andre’s boots or what ever? Seems very scripted like a lot of “reality “ shows

@Zimbra@Norwegian Rudothank you guys.
Man, "Sinister Minister ruins NWA's TV deal (owned by Billy Corgan) by doing cocaine on PPV" is the kind of thing that would make someone's head explode if you told them that 5-15 years ago.

Been busy, but no I want ROH to have hard weight classes. No I don't think they need to be legit 100% of the time, but I don't see the size of ppl as a massive issue - ultimately the roster may need to evolve.
I think I would go with 4 men's divisions - 175 (welter), 195 (cruiser), 225ish (mid-heavy), above (super-heavy). Two classes for women, split at around 125-130lbs. Pure Rules *all* singles title matches.Run a team title - 3-5 people, forever freebird-rule defends both in tags and 6-person.
You can love it or loathe it, but it would make ROH very distinct from AEW.Running ROH as a completely sport based promotion would be one way to differentiate it from AEW,

Ron Simmons would have been quite the upgrade over SID as The hoursemen's muscle

Love whenever Dalton Castle shows up, but wish that he had just come out to challenge the Acclaimed to set up a program, rather than just jumping straight to the match. Even with the trios titles, the Acclaimed have been treading water since losing the tag team belts, a month or two long feud with Dalton and the Boys could have been a lot of fun. Dalton is one of those wrestlers that I don't think Tony really sees what he has. He manages to get over every time he comes out and has such a great entrance for TV. That post-match backstage interview with Lexy should have absolutely been on TV.
So its not on youtube and I had to dig through X to find what you where talking about, hopefully it airs next week and we get a rematch down the road

Don't forget the spinning leg kick too! Come to think of it, no one does Booker's arm wring into a leg kick combo anymore. That's should come back.
I can't think of too many people who have the length plus the flexibility to pull it off

Felt Collision was a bit of a mixed bag Roddy & The Kingdom plus "national 69 day" felt like spilled over Dynamite goofiness but a really solid main event. Surprised we didn't get a LFI pin over Starks to set up a possible feud for the tag straps

They need to do a big Penta match in LA. I wonder if Penta v QT ends up on Full Gear or the night before

Watts said in his book heels should do it behind the refs back to get heat which is stupid because a top rope move is a high spot

Has anyone read Todd Gordon's book about creating ECW? The premise sounds interesting but at the same time he seems like a guy who wants to take way to much credit for everything

Even if AEW sometimes feels like its turning into the seniors circuit I'm excited to see Sting, Edge and Christian

They kept the "throwing your opponent over the top rope" thing up until WCW in 98 did they ever really enforce the jumping off the top rope thing? I recall Flair doing double axe handles and cross bodies from there

Get ready for so much Wooo! Energy spam.
Honestly Flair just makes me feel sad, he went from being viewed as one of the best of all time, to a semi-disgraced shell of himself, who's only showing up cause he needs to money and probably has no idea of what else he's supposed to do other than hang around wrestling in what ever capacity he can.
I'm sure in the 70's, 80's and even into the 90's the boys though it was funny when he had his dick out at the bar and tons of women wanted him. But he never knew when to turn the gimmick off. And because alcohol is viewed by society as a "good drug" he's never confronted that he has a serious drinking problem.

problem is most of the roster aren't much over 200lbs either. I what I could see is if we go back to having the TNT being the HOSSWEIGHT belt then you could have INT. Belt unofficially being the semi-X-division belt where you have the smaller men having fast paced high flying matches.
I also wish they would say "Paul Wight is VP of Competiton" (in kayfavbe) and have him be your Jack Tunney so we don't have to hear TONY KHAN HAS MADE IT OFFICAL over and over. But I guess Tony like's seeing/hearing his name so every one knows he's running the show
