  1. On my first ever WWE break now. Has made life much less stressful. AEW feeding my addiction. If they take the belt off Rollins I'd consider coming back, but until then...
  2. Why? I’m not trying to make myself look tough. I don’t even believe with any degree of certainty that I’d come out the winner in that scenario. I’m saying I wouldn’t hesitate to find out. CrossFit isn’t a martial art. Wait...burning beard? “Burn it down!!” Beard. it’s you. You’re Seth Rollins.
  3. I think at the end of the day that’s the root of my issue w Rollins. As a man of some size, speed, and martial arts training, I would 100% take Rollins up on an offer to “step outside.” And that’s not me playing Internet tough guy. That’s me having a lightly advanced sense of risk assessment and situational awareness from Krav Maga and intermediate striking effectiveness gauged by a handful of amateur Muay Thai matches. There is nothing about Rollins that screams “toughest guy on the show.” Ambrose has that. Reigns has that at times. Strowma nm is dripping with that. But let’s keep the belt on the guy that couldn’t whip cream with an outboard motor....
  4. I agree with whoever said not to break up Alexa and Nikki, but I’m not sure what you do next with them. Maybe feud w the Iiconics over #1 contendership? The Kauki Warriors beat up some makeshift team next month and circle back to BlissCross?
  5. You think there's a kid in America who's dying wish is to meet Seth Rollins?
  6. How do you figure? Kids don't give a shit about Seth Rollins. He's about as marketable as an asbestos leotard.
  7. That's what I don't get. What on God's green earth do they see in Seth Rollins that males them think he's a babyface hero? Somewhere Jon Moxley is smiling right now. Mostly because Renee tweeted that she's home this weekend, but also a little bc the guy who called him out over his burying the WWE creative process just took a wet shit on PPV. That was truly, truly wretched. And something else just occurred to me; the demographic that I think was most turned-off by this was the 18-49 yr old male, which they're already struggling to retain and AEW seems to have made an impression on. If wwe thinks Seth Rollins is gonna lead that demographic back to their programming, they are delusional...
  8. I'm not the one that said that. I thought that was gross.
  9. I mean, you could, but I'm not the monster that thinks Charlotte winning is a good thing...
  10. Yep. Done with WWE for a while. That was steaming dogshit.
  11. Braves feel different this year. Exorcising a lot of demons. Every curse has an end. #Relentless
  12. Great. More shoehorn Charlotte. Someone made the point earlier that they think Rollins might beat Fiend bc of Rollins' win over Lesnar and that showing a long-term commitment. To me that read as a last-ditch effort to build credibility for Rollins, and I'm not sure it's worked. They've trotted legend after legend out there to give him the "rub," had him pin Lesnar twice, and he still isn't moving the needle. That's not all on him, but it can't be ignored, either. Even if he comes back later and "overcomes," the only answer is Fiend absolutely wearing him out Sunday and walking away with the WWE title. Also, Heyman is apparently a Wyatt uberfan, so my guess is we're about to see how much influence he actually has.
  13. Oh good. Another reign I'm enjoying coming to an end at thre hands of an Aryan poster child. If this were Hunger Games, Brock and Charlotte would be District 1. Fuck them.
  14. It'll be Fiend by then. Has to be. They've invested too much time into Bray's new thing to not pay it off. Rollins isn't drawing and I doubt Vince will want Smackdown to completely overshadow Raw...
  15. Welp, on the one hand, tough way for Kofi to go out. On the other, he got a better reign than Eddie, Rey, Benoit, or D-Bry, so it's hard to be too upset. I wonder if Velazquez costs Lesnar the return match, or maybe Smackdown is going to be the "legit sports" show and Raw is going to be the "sports entertainment" show...
  16. Thoughts: Enjoyed the presentation. Fun seeing wrestling in front of a loud, excited crowd, instead of folks looking like they're being held hostage. Sammy Guevara could be something one day. He's definitely someone they should focus on developing. MJF is going to be a STAR. I'd still stick a heater with him, at least temporarily. Probably Ryback. Kevin Smith being there is extremely on brand for this audience. He seemed super into it. PAC/Page was pretty good. Glad PAC got his issues taken care of and is somewhere where the most eyes can be on him. The women's division just isn't real deep. Those were probably the two women with the least name value. Priority number one should be getting Tessa Blanchard and Tenille under contract ASAP. I despise Kenny Omega's pretentious "performance art" style, so watching Mox put his face through a glass table was a personal highlight. Dug that 6 man. Old school shit. Get your champ on tv without defending the title. Dug the Hager debut. Say what you want to about his quality of opponent, but being undefeated in professional MMA is nothing to sneeze at and a good way to build credibility. He's always been solid when motivated and this company could really use some bigger guys. All in all, I dug the show. If Brock wins Friday, I'll be done w WWE for a while. No desire to watch the same shit. Already downgraded Raw to youtube clips. Don't give a shred of a shit about anyone on nXt's roster. Nice to have a presentation I enjoy.
  17. Eh, at one point Teddy was a solid worker and it would make sense given his history with Cody.
  18. Wow, WWE with another week of “use legends to make Seth Rollins seem like a big deal.” It won’t work, because he’s Seth Rollins, but it’s funny that someone seems to think it might....
  19. Well, you're the reigning authority on stans, so if you say it it must be true.
  20. So you aren’t going to answer my question then? By what objective measure does Sasha make the entire division better?
  21. We know you don’t need anyone on your side for you to feel comfortable spouting this nonsense. And that’s fine, it’s an opinion and you’re allowed to have one. My problem is you condescendingly presenting your opinion as though it’s objective fact. What scientific method did you use to arrive at this objective, absolute conclusion regarding a subjective art form? What qualifies you to declaratively state that Sasha is sooooo much better than the rest of the division that her mere presence elevated women who haven’t even locked up with her since her four month absence over pouting about her wrestlemania match? As though the rest of this division needs her to make them better. Botcha can’t even be bothered not to cheapshot Alexa Bliss in a tag match on Raw. Please enlighten me on your expertise. If you know enough to definitively state that Sasha, she who cannot stop injuring other performers, either from negligence or malice, somehow makes the women around her better, when the vast majority of them have been wrestling longer than her, surely you can articulate it....
