Final preseason list

I would just worry about him having friends and family around to eat with. My initial reaction to him wanting to leave, and leaving money on the table, for playing time was positive. Since watching him it wasn't even clear he wanted to play. You could argue the opposite though and say he should have been confident in his abilities enough to go out and earn playing time.

I just noticed my cable package includes NFL network now while flipping channels. Phil Simms killed my enthusiasm pretty quickly though. Too bad it isn't Mayock I really liked him doing Eagles games during the preseason.

Yep after the all star game he averaged 13 points, 10 rebounds, 2.1 steals, 2.3 blocks, 1.9 assists. The thing that is most striking about him is how he doesn't get into foul trouble very often. Was like 50 games into the season before fouling out for the first time. The difference in his home numbers and road numbers is striking. Much better at home which is expected. Especially on a young team with players that are mostly backup quality role players; or players developing into that and not even there yet. His TS% was .555 at home and .438 on the road. That road number is ugly as hell but his FT% is the same at home and on the road so there is room for optimism. I know there will be dumb jokes about when are we trading him all year but he is looking like the one solid long term piece so far.

Howard is 6'9" you almost always get 2 inches of shoe height on listed heights. Howard is same height as Jahlil Okafor. You can see what Okafor looks like next to a legit 7 foot tall person.
