  1. I really like the hunter gear, especially the cloak. I just think the raid stuff looks like crap, so I infuse other stuff mostly. Basara I think you just have played the game more than most is all. I used to have a bunch of weapon parts but I infuse a lot so I'm always low now. I've never had the stockpile of motes and coins that you've amassed either. And I used to have to go exclusion zone farming for glimmer as well where you have consumables stacked in your vault liked canned goods lol.
  2. I like the Azoth gear for warlock. Most warlock armor I think looks terrible
  3. I was home sick again today from work and managed to defeat Oryx on hard mode for the first time. So I did it again. And again. Didn't get any great drops. Was able to infuse my Hung Jury up to 314 anyway and got a raid pulse rifle with glass half empty perk at 313. I farmed Omnigul for the Grasp of Malok with no success also. Bungie is really going to have to pull out all the stops in the near future now with having to deal with Halo, Fallout 4, Battlefront, and Tomb Raider.
  4. Good thing I've dismantled probably over 1000 wormspore
  5. My destiny time is going to go downhill for sure. Getting fallout.
  6. What is universe mode? All I've played so far is my career.
  7. Yeah I saw a lot of pulse rifles too. The two guys I was originally playing with were both using the Boolean Gemini scout rifle though which I thought was odd but when I asked them about it they said it was a beast. And they were both very good players. I'm going to play some more Trials today with the hunter and try to get that scout rifle anyway. JT I'm surprised you don't do Trials. The majority of what you play is PvP it seems like and this is the end game content they made specifically for guys like you it seems. It's all about your group really and whether you're with cool people or dicks. I will say playing regular crucible, it just feels like something to pass the time that can be pretty fun at times. Not really satisfying to me. Winning in Trials is definitely way more satisfying and feels like an accomplishment.
  8. Already heard a lot of dummies today. Hindsight kind of makes that happen. I don't have a problem with leaving Harvey in at all. The guy had pitched 8 shutout innings and looked to be in full control of his pitches. The only downside is the fact that the change of decision was so public. If you are on the fence about whether to leave your starter in who has been dominant over the whole game or to bring in your dominant closer, you want the kind of reaction that Harvey had. I don't even care about them leaving him in after the walk because I felt like he pitched a good at-bat. That last ball was a really good pitch that most guys swing at. But people want to crucify Collins for changing his decision. The Royals were just the better team and weren't a good match for the Mets. I hate to say it but Harold said it best late in the game when he said it feels like for the Mets to win they need to hit the long ball and for the Royals to win they just need to get a man on base. And that was the whole series. The Mets left guys stranded on base a ton of times. The Royals were able to make the most of their opportunities. It might have made it a little better if Cespedes was able to do anything at all in the playoffs but I can't complain, they wouldn't have even been there if it weren't for him. It was an awesome season though and I'm really looking forward to next year and what they're able to do in the offseason.
  9. You said this last week and I'll answer it the same way- Weeden is horrible. Did you see how bad Cassel was? Yeah, Weeden is way worse. I'll take the guy who actually is willing to throw the football towards a wide receiver. Really? What I saw today was a QB that was a whole ton worse than Weeden ever was this season except for the New England game. Well you either didn't see our weren't paying attention to Brandon Weeden. He's got a canon and absolutely nothing more. Lots of qbs can complete passes when all you do is check it down to your RB. He's proven over an extended period of time that he can't run an offense in the NFL. At all.
  10. Played a little trials today when I was able to peel myself away from WWE. Didn't get much. Was in a good group and had 4 wins and no losses on the card and then we lost using up the mercy. A guy had to leave though and we dissolved. Couldn't find decent players for the rest of it. Ended up with a chest piece, boots, and emblem. Just looking to snag the scout rifle at 7 wins really. Will have to hop on later with the hunter and give it a go.
  11. Tony Bennett must be about 260yrs old. Yet has a great tan.

  13. Last time in Trials, for decent players it was actually the opposite- a lot of rewards for little effort. You have to remember the big thing in House of Wolves was Etheric Light. And the only way to get it was to complete a level 34 or 35 PoE. So for one character, that's 2 Etheric Light per week unless you got lucky in nightfall until Trials came out. Trials allowed you the opportunity to get 3 minimum on one character in a Trials run and up to 5 if you got lucky. And it was another set of armor that you could equip as an alternative as well.
  14. Do yourself a favor on VoG and be the guy to run relic on the Templar fight. Same for Gatekeeper and Atheon. Most fun part of the raid.
  15. Yeah and when you live in a neighborhood that only has 4mb/s DSL internet...Thank god for predownloadable content. At least my stuff can be downloading and finish before games release if I get new stuff. It literally takes me a couple days to download a game. For some reason I don't have any issue gaming online though. No lag or red bars on my connection when playing PvP. Strange.
  16. I do all of my purchasing and gaming digitally and have a 500GB system so I've actually deleted a few games at different points to make room. It's not a big deal for me because I'm the type of person that completely moves on from one game to another and never returns. For most people, that would probably be an issue- to have to delete and redownload something. No external storage support sucks but you can replace the internal drive and it's just a matter of turning a few screws. Very simple.
  17. I was able to find a guy last night giving away the Atheon checkpoint so I could help my buddy out. Killed him in one run. Lucky to find someone so generous.
  18. I usually just do the online shopping thing and take off of work that day to play video games lol
  19. I've got a raid pulse rifle that has glass half full perk on it. Should be a beast. It's only at 305 though but it shouldn't drop my light level too much.
  20. I am really into this game so far. Love it. I also haven't owned a wrestling game in years though. I completely agree on the submission system and I don't like mini games at all anyway. Why don't you just make the likelihood of a submission be based on the health and stamina of the wrestler? Same for a finisher and pinfall. If you're about dead and they hit a signature move and then go for submission finisher, you should lose. Pretty damn simple to me.
  21. You're going to be seeing almost exclusive use of pulse rifles in Trials. Red Death, NTTE, Juju, The Villainy, Nirweins Mercy, Hawksaw. Probably some high leveled Hawkmoons as well. Just my prediction. When everything counts and everything matters, PRs are the top class of weapon now since the handcannon nerf. I'm looking forward to Trials. My Titan and Hunter are both over 310 and are the only two classes I really care to play with most of the time. Sunbreakin and Nightstalkin.
  22. I've had one for a while now(Zhalo) and it is pretty fun and competitive to use in Crucible. It's not really a relevant gun in high level PvE but for doing stuff like lvl 36 strikes and patrols and such it's a ton of fun to use. Plus any nightfall with arc burn. If you ain't got one, you should scoop it up for sure. Another thing I realized in the last couple of days- every exotic that you decrypt once you are 310LL or greater will decrypt to 310 every time which is pretty damn sweet.
  23. I got a 50" Insignia Plasma TV about 6yrs ago for a little over $500 bucks. Been great for me and has a great picture. I do prefer the Vizio LED that I got a couple years ago though which is what I do my gaming on.
  24. After looking further into it, it's not that great of an option for most in the US. Looking at the LTE bands it supports, it doesn't support AT&Ts main LTE band and it doesn't support Tmobile band 12 either. So def a no-go for me. I was going to look into getting one for the wife and/or to have a backup because she beats the shit out of her phones.
  25. Oneplus announced the OnePlus X to be released at $249. It's a slick looking little phone that kind of resembles a mix between an iPhone 4 and a Nexus 5. Looks to have decently spec'd camera and ram, has an sd card slot, but has an old processor in it (snapdragon 801) which is probably why the price is so low. But it's a cool design especially if you like a smaller phone, it has a 5" screen. It also has a glass back which is similar to iPhone and the Nexus 4 had one also. I really like the design of it and the price. Will be interesting to see how well it's reviewed once it's more available.
