Mercedes and Willow are going to put on a very good match, I feel. They were starting to cook in the NJPW match before the injury. Their segment tonight was ok. It's the most inspired Mercedes has been on the microphone to date, probably because she loves being a heel. Willow is too nice to hate. They have to be doing a turn with Mercedes.

I mean... that's what I took from it. Tony comes out hugging and kissing Jack Perry like all's good and gets completely blindsided. The commentary made mention of "what a nice and forgiving guy Tony is" etc... Plus, SHAD KHAN came out after the beat down which to me says "What has my son gotten himself into?" If I'm wrong, I'm wrong but I think that's where we're headed.

That seems to be the point. She came out and stole Willow's spotlight and everyone including the announcers were saying as much. She's coming off as disingenuous towards Willow as well. She probably didn't even really get attacked. I could be wrong but that looks like what they're doing.

Liv is the one who injured Rhea. It would have made sense to give Liv the title and have her talking shit. But instead, another Becky Lynch run. No thank you. -
The thing with Jericho and Hook and why I think it's one of the worst matches I've seen in a while..... if a match is bad and the work is bad but it's like 5-10 minutes then whatever. But they dragged this motherfucker out for 17+ minutes and then had a drizzling shits finish to boot. On top of that the crowd completely shat on it and Jericho is still overstaying his welcome. He needs to go away for a while. So yeah it's just terrible from beginning to end for me and the one bad portion of the event. Everything else was either solid or kicked ass.

He played it like Joe ducked and I thought that was what happened for a second... I wasn't sure. Which means if it wasn't supposed to go down that way he did a great job of recovering

One last thing. YouTube is the way to go. Flawless 1080p picture the whole way. No blurring and no fuck ups.

Also, has there ever been a duel like finish like the one we had with Danielson/Ospreay? I think it's the first time I've ever seen two wrestlers charge at each other like the opening to the X-Men cartoon and try to beat each other to the punch with their best move.... Holy shit

This was a top 5 AEW PPV for me.... There will be talk about how Bryan/Ospreay ended and whether it's good/bad but the match was one of the best matches I've seen at least this decade... and I'll leave it at that for now but it was so fucking great. My god... lots to discuss just off that match alone. Love Swerve and Willow getting their moments!! Okada vs. Pac was awesome too. Jericho.... I don't know what to say. He's rivaling X-Pac.

I'm giving YouTube a try. Last PPV I had some issues with B/R so hopefully YouTube will be better.

I believe they said the new head producer is a guy by the name of Lee Fitting, he used to work at ESPN. Totally agree on how much better the shows look. -
WRESTLING ON THE INTERNET NOT FROM THE NOW

I was working my way through a lot of the old school house shows on Peacock last year. Very entertaining. I'm still pissed about the Hidden Gems section disappearing though since I was unable to finish watching all of it.
