    My gripe with Tomb Raider is how hard it tries to do everything....does it want to be a cinematic action/adventure game like Uncharted or have it be a Metroidvania style game like Batman: Arkham Asylum? So it tries to do both, fails at both, and doesn't have its own identity as a game. I'm pretty close to Platinum'ing the game, but Square Enix/Crystal Dynamics can suck a fat one for the multiplayer.

    Correction: I described Jenny McCarthy as a sperm receptacle. Women aren't and have a higher purpose than being a vaccination denier and Singled Out co-host. They use their brains, are intelligent, and aren't merely hot pieces of ass like Jenny McCarthy who is waiting for the next rich douchebag to plug her with another screwed up kid.

    Sorry but GTAV is a boring game. There I said it. EDIT: I would really love to see what you think is better besides just GTAV. If you like GTAV and that's all, that's fine, it's just not really my thing.

    I have a few recommendations: Darksiders - Zelda dungeons, God of War combat, and an epic 30+ hours game. Valkyria Chronicles - SRPG goodness in HD. No trophies, but great game. Resistance: Fall of Man - Still very underrated and one of the best reasons to have a PS3. Dead Space - Still one of the scariest games ever made. Twinkle twinkle little star. BioShock Infinite - Yes, the story falls apart, but this game is glorious to watch on a HDTV.

    I'm looking forward to DARK SOULS II and Infamous: Second Son and strangely FF X|X-2 HD. Gotta do Barbie Dress-Up: The RPG for a Platinum. EDIT: And yeah, I'm excited for Watch_Dogs. Oh and The Evil Within. Can't wait for that.

    I play imports some. I got a few region free Japanese Xbox 360 shmups like DoDonPachi Resurrection & Mushihimesama Futari 1.5. I should be getting Ryo Ga Gotaku 5 (Yakuza 5) from Play Asia soon and I'm wanting to get Gundam Extreme Vs. and Ketsui Kizuna Jigoku Tachi Extra as well.

    Just played Gone Home and I'm instantly reminded of my high school years and how miserable those years were.

    I thought Keanu Reeves in The Gift was pretty decent. He played an asshole almost way too well.

    Also, get The Stanley Parable too. It's a game and it's also not a game. It's also one of the best things I've ever seen.

    Honestly, it's worth it for either current-gen or next-gen version. I got my PS3 version for $40, but I know I'm going to wait a bit before I get the PS4 version.

    Nearing the end of Tomb Raider and my view on it hasn't changed too much -- I do love the story however and the progression for Lara Croft feels completely badass. It's like what Lost should have been.

    Decided to play through Tomb Raider (2013) for PS3 (and prior to the upcoming next-gen version). I'm at the Somarii Fortress and at first, I really hated the game. I felt like it was trying to be every type of game and do everything (have collectibles, have a cinematic story with setpiece moments, RPG like levelling system, etc.)....but over time as I got further into this, I really dug it. This is what Lost: The Video Game should have been.

    Also, what makes GOG so great is they do all the work in making the older games Windows Vista/7/8 compliant. No more trying to root around for fan-made patches online.

    Trying to play Tomb Raider (2013) and....why do people like this game? Granted, I've pretty much tried to OCD collect all the little items and 100% all the sections I've done so far. But the combat with humans is just bad and I just don't get it. I'm sure I'll like it more as I get further. I think.

    Just finished Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. It's not one of the best Zelda games ever made, but it's a very excellent game. A 'mediocre Zelda game' is still better than a lot of game series' best games. Most of the dungeons seem a tad on the easy side, but the final dungeon (and ending) is worth it. Highly recommended for 3DS owners.
