I almost wonder if Nintendo won't make a SNES Classic since they seem to be allergic to making money recently. Still, I also wonder if Nintendo didn't like the hackability of the NES Classic and rather than manufacture an updated device, they'll just milk Virtual Console with slow re-releases (I still think their releasing the same games on Wii U VC and charging people that owned them on Wii VC a $1-$2 is BS).

Got my 75th (!) Platinum trophy with Dark Souls II (PS3). Spent so long on a game I hate so much. It's worst/more unfair/broken compared to Dark Souls.

The problem is people have already figured out how to hack them and load ROMs onto them. Whatever exploit that is there can't be 'patched' with the unit. I think Nintendo does a lot of bone-headed moves and this is one of them but who knows if piracy is the reason.

Yakuza Kiwami will come to the US on 8/06 for $29.99 with a limited steelbook edition. Also, the Star Wars Battlefront II trailer has leaked and it looks awesome.

Also, if you got Uncharted 4 Digital Deluxe Edition, Triple Pack or Explorer's Pack, you will get Uncharted: Lost Legacy for free. You just won't get Jak & Daxter for PS4.

That's true. I really wish Microsoft would bring back Summer of Arcade. They could be doing the timed exclusivities if they wanted to. Instead, it's over $400 million to NFL.

Probably because the PS4 IS the PS2. Not to sound like a fanboy at this point, but PS4 has everything that I (and others) want. Weird Japanese RPGs? Check. AAA shooters? Check. Indie weirdness? Check. Trash tier games? Nope, let that stay on Steam. It sorta sucks that the game is only coming to PS4 on launch and XB1 version is still in development.

This Tuesday will see Cosmic Star Heroine come out, which is as close to Phantasy Star V or a next gen Chrono Trigger as we will get.

I'm having to do car emissions/adulating crap today, but I know what I'll work on tomorrow. I think. Got Persona 5 staring me in the face along with this and Nier Automata and Horizon Zero Dawn and Nioh and Yakuza Zero and.... Anyone want to work my job for me?

2017 is probably one of the best years in video games and we are only in April, judging by this and other games like Horizon: Zero Dawn and Persona 5. Finally Platinum'ed Infamous 2 for my 74th Platinum. I'm currently trying to Platinum Dark Souls II and got three trophies left. Can't seem to beat the Darklurker on NG+ with my mostly strength build.

I bought Mass Effect Andromeda Friday without giving any f*cks about the derpy faces and animations, the story or the backlash.

Beat Infamous 2 today and it still holds up. The ending for good playthrough is sad but satisfying. Now I'm doing an evil/hard playthrough for a Platinum.

Snake Pass (N64 style puzzle platformer with David Wise's music!) and Rain World (16-bit era style Out of This World/Flashback/Oddworld Abe's Oddysee platformer) both come out tomorrow.

I'm the type to not pay attention to negative reviews and negative hype (I buy Neptunia games) but would I like Mass Effect Andromeda? I'm leaning towards getting it soon but I want to know what I'm getting myself into.

Too bad it's not getting a PS4 port. I wish that and Persona 4 Golden (hell, let's have Persona 3 FES get ported too) would come to PS4.

Got done with the online trophies for Binary Domain and Quantum Theory this weekend and last weekend so....go me? Messing around with Dark Souls II and got 88% of the trophies. Doing NG+ and trying to beat Vendrick on NG+. Hopefully I will be able to do Licia of Linfeldt's invasion for a miracle spell then trying to do the Darklurker stuff for two hexes. After that, it's the NG++ pyromancy and miracle and a Platinum.

Great. Can't wait to Platinum this. I'm insane.

I should be getting my copy of Hitman: Complete First Season soon. Amazon sent me an European copy (!) but any DLC may not work on the US copy (unless I'm wrong about that).

Nex Machina (Housemarque + Eugene Jarvis) comes out on May 23rd. It's a top down shooter for PS4 that looks like Black Ops Arcade, Smash TV, and Robotron 2084 had a crazy mutated baby with Resogun. Also, Rime finally has a release date of May 26th.

Got my 73rd Platinum with Battlefield 3 last night.

I'm excited about the sequel to Shadow of Mordor but Shadow of War is the most generic early '90s RTS title I've ever heard. Why not "Battle of Mordor"? Or maybe Shadow of Mordor 2?

In between boosting trophies for hours on end, I'm also playing through Horizon: Zero Dawn. A lot of the game reminds me of Tomb Raider (2013). The story so far is surprisingly emotional. I just finished a side quest with Oletha and Brom and that was also intensely moving. The only drawback is the loot isn't very exciting and mostly weapon mods. Got Hitman: Complete First Season coming in the mail and tempted to get Ghost Recon Wildlands, Nier Automata and Atelier Firis from Amazon but by the time I get to them they will be less than $40.

Got my 72nd Platinum with SOCOM 4. Keep in mind, the Platinum is unobtainable since the multiplayer servers shut down in 2014. I want to punch whoever designed the squadmate AI for this game. All the squadmates leave you to die or get scared and don't actually shoot enemies with their guns.

About to get my 71st Platinum with SOCOM 4. I got the online trophies before the servers shut down in 2014. I hate the squad mates in this game and they are dumber than a box of hammers.
