  1. The Taker-Shane brawl was nuts, and a huge risk to take for Shane (and Taker) given that WM is so close. Shane of course fell short on the elbow, and Taker got sliced to Hell - but it made the WM match more exciting. Heyman's promo on the Brock-Dean match was amazing. He hyped up the match in a way that tied it into WM 30, and thus made every Taker match at WM after WM 30 seem important because 2 years later, it's still being brought up in current events. And then Dean came out with a little red wagon and went shopping under and around the ring for things to put in the wagon. And they tried with HHH and Roman, and everything died. Didn't help that the show-closer happened after they gave the crowd a 20+ minute meaningless match with everything on Earth being chanted but "Chyna" - that was saved for HHH's promo. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2016/03/raw-3-28-16.html Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/73p7t4mvosktshi69oyhqd9oaz3xztw6
  2. It's Riff Raff. He's in his Jordans, Jordans. Muthafucka. Muthafucka.
  3. Pretty fun setup show for Takeover. Gargano got a win over the Drifter, while Swann looked strong in defeat against Finn. Joe was built up like a fucking world-beater, while Alexa and Mary Dobson had a fun, but really sloppy match. Asuka vs. Emma was outstanding, and will be a far better wrestling match than anything setup for WM. The American Alpha life recap video set up their title match perfectly too. They've each lost the big one before, but now they have a partner, and now COULD be their time. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2016/03/nxt-3-23-16.html Screens - http://thumbnails114.imagebam.com/47348/3edadd473476597.jpg http://thumbnails113.imagebam.com/47348/9e133d473476480.jpg http://thumbnails114.imagebam.com/47348/1c0772473476519.jpg http://thumbnails114.imagebam.com/47348/19e832473476553.jpg http://thumbnails114.imagebam.com/47348/04f59b473476585.jpg http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/rpi6ix569u6zte5dietdv96jrtzal8ec
  4. Come for Vader's bloody eye, but stay for Sable's tits in a photoshoot.
  5. TNA is Talking here. I did chuckle at Shera and Grado talking about being owed money, while Grado invited 'Scott and Phil from Chicago!" to his party. Maria was certainly given a lot of airitme. Fall of the Dollhouse was long overdue with the losses of Kong and Taryn. The gauntlet for the gold's...title shot was awful. The "Twist of Fat" chant amused me though. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2016/03/tna-impact-wrestling-3-22-16.html Screens - MIRACULOUS http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/dlho40xs2tay3dacangosmwhnojrelds\
  6. They found a way to make an Undertaker retirement stip seem completely meaningless tonight. Also, Steph cut Kevin Steen's balls off, while Roman got to keep his briefly...until he kicked HHH's ass like a coward. SuperRoman's Pal Dean survived against Braun thanks to weapons, and we got a nice Terry Funk cameo that I guess set up Dean beating Brock Lesnar with a chainsaw at WM. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2016/03/wwe-raw-3-21-16.html Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/0gqroep47zt3ms23prmzsie1v2f1w2ux
  7. This show was tailor-made for DVDVR. This was only $12 and a laugh riot. It wasn't nearly as sad as Heroes of Wrestling, and the commentary team was a wonderful mix of awful and great thanks to Rampage bringing the comedy. JR and Sean were serious enough, while also burying the show and the grappling match. That was dreadful, but entertaining thanks to the commentary. The MMA fight was a disaster, with a wedgie and an RNC - so it never had time to be bad. Riff Raff was so goddamned awful, but hilarious with his whole schtick. Then we got him in the Angle vs. Rey match, where he saved Rey from that "MOTHER...FUCKER!" Kurt and his chair. They had a nothing house show match here, but it was amusing, and I like Rey's new El Rey/Lucha Underground gear. Tiny Trunks was hilarious in his walkout, but got his ass whooped. Roy Jones Jr. vs. Vyron Phillips had a few highlights in it - with Jones showing he has enough to face the Homer Simpsons of the world and not get hurt. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2016/03/ur-fight-3-20-16-live-coverage.html Screens - "YOUR MAIN EVENT IS HERE!" http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/lla0p9a5m8gmbz3thwnesgqfhe3f4jjp
  8. That was such a great bit - and it was all the delivery by Graves. That NXT hype vid for Nakamura was outstanding - they could literally put that on Raw and throw him in the IC Title mix at WM and he would fit right in - especially with Sami's WWE story being "he's a guy, and he's a guy who is named Sami Zayn" so far.
  9. Fun show, but nothing too amazing. Great place-setter for Takeover though, even if the awful fake snow effect for Nakamura's video lead-in was a bit much. Can't go wrong with Sami-Nakamura though. Women's tag was fun, and far better than either male tag match. Emma-Deonna never really got going, but put Emma over strong. Dana's look remains absolutely bizarre and does nothing for me, and Deonna Purrazzo should probably not have her initials on her gear. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2016/03/nxt-3-16-16.html Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/uey6cakdp8zk7o4enpma0re3d2a05a5z
  10. That was one of the finest hours of pro wrestling TV in years. Things started off really fun with the trios tag, then cooled off a bit for Texano-Chavo - but that allowed things to stand out more with both Mil and Matanza being set up in back to back vignettes as monsters who will one day be at war. It's like if you saw a trailer for a Godzilla movie and a King Kong movie back to back - nothing was stated about them facing off, but seeing them back-to-back makes you wonder what would happen if they fought. It was great, and we got Matanza killing more dudes while the Streets of Rage scream sound effect blared too. Then we got the main event. Holy shit was it crazy- and not just due to the spots. There were some things that kinda didn't need to be there, like chairs to the head - but they at least meant something. Masks were ripped up and that allowed blood to floor from the chairs - so we got masked luchador bloodshed for the first time in LU history, Vamp marking out for dives, and the single best David vs. Goliath match since Razor vs. 1-2-3 Kid in 1993 too as FENIX BEAT HIM TO WIN THE TITLE. Then, Catrina set out for revenge. She's now lost all of her gold in one night, and Dario has staked his claim to regain his Temple. Mil enters Aztec Warfare as number 20, while Fenix now has to defend his title and run the gauntlet as number 1. It's going to be amazing, and Rey's debut happens there too. Oh my God can next Wednesday just be here already!? http://www.f4wonline.com/mexico/lucha-underground-results-fenix-battles-mil-muertes-lu-title-209451 Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/mrfmd6q28mku8vmqahdowtze5oo5trvg
  11. Warrior was pretty brilliant to always change his look up though - it gives them MOUNTAINS of possible figures to make. I was looking at a CAWs.ws rundown of WK15 creations for him, and it amazed me to see dozens of different designs. I remembered him changing his look up, sure, but to see the sheer amount of different looks was impressive. That's not even counting the singlet era, which gave him some airbrush designs to work with and thus MORE STUFF FOR WWE TO SELL.
  12. It's astonishing to see how much WWE is motenizing and immortalizing Warrior after spending a decade burying him. Good on them for keeping the merch and stuff going for his family's sake though - they should be financially set with it.
  13. Sid has to have his flip flops, too.
  14. What a shit show this was. Like usual, more of TNA now isn't always better. There were no good matches here, and the mixed and intergender tags were largely awful. Maria may actually be worse than Velvet in the ring. They had ONE ACT that worked - Matt as a heel, and nixed it tonight so CAPN DREW could cash in his change in the piggy bank case and win it. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2016/03/tna-impact-wrestling-3-15-16.html Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/e8d5npaa1bnysbugsucnkg5k4y6ypbm4
  15. New Day was the peak of the show. Ric the Used Car Salesman was up there. AJ's flying forearm was great. A few moments of HHH-Dolph felt special, and the rest of the show was just kinda there. Owens-Zayn was built up, but not very well. Mick giving Dean his barb wire baseball bat was nice - and it looks like we'll get a bit more Moxley than Ambrose at WM against Brock. Lana continued to look hot as well. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2016/03/new-day-rawks-3-14-16.html Screens - Honest Ric's Used Car Emporium - the only car dealer that requires giving the owner a loan to enter So...this... http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/a016ijuo94cucic92kalc6gvr76266ag
  16. This certainly was a show. Brock vs. Harper was better than Brock vs. Bray would've been, and the main event had a TREMENDOUS fake finish with Dean getting the visual pin. Dean's look of shock was classic, and I loved that we got both a figure four and Sharpshooter form Dean here, while HHH busted out the Batista Bite. Charlotte vs. Nattie was good too - not as good as their NXT match, but quite good and Charlotte's best main roster match too. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2016/03/wwe-roadblock-2016.html Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/838cp6os7fspcy40fxwb3pglzs98lngt
  17. Beer Money vs. The Wolves was good, but never got great. Odd to not have Davey's injury brought up too. Matt vs. EC3 was given a blah build, while Eric Young vs. Jeff Hardy was given more build - and we got the KOTM match on free TV with no buildup at all. Angle-Lashley was a poor version of every match they've had yet, which makes sense since Kurt was concussed at the time. Sad way for him to go out in TNA, too, but they at least put his retirement over as a huge deal and clearly appreciated him being there for a decade. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2016/03/tna-impact-wrestling-3-8-16.html Screens - http://http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/prhym9glaxycs1vzgqd9zuuvcjuttmii
  18. That is going to be the peak of her WWE career.
  19. The Vince-Shane stuff was pretty good tonight. LOVED EVERYTHING WITH JERICHO AND AJ. Holy shit. The tag match was perfect for what it needed to be, and I love that we have one feud in WWE based entirely around results mattering. Breeze-Kalisto was amusing, and I guess we're getting Ryback vs. Kalisto at WM. Or maybe Sin Cara vs. Kalisto in some wacky giant multi-man US TItle match. I'd give Jericho the US Title so that AJ-Jericho could be about more than just respect and thus be on a better part of the card though. Bray vs. Dean wasn't much - but Dean at least didn't lose before facing and likely losing to HHH on Saturday. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2016/03/wwe-raw-3-7-16.html Screens - The Gay Community?! 20. After a few iffy weeks, this was a darn fine show. The first hour was largely fantastic - with Roode vs. Angle being a technically fine, but non-stop finishers video game match. The post-match with Beer Money and the Wolves was productive and amusing with the milk gag. Everything with Matt, Spud, Reby's wacky dress, and EC3 ruled. Match-wise, Bennett had his best singles showing to date either in ROH or TNA against Drew. They had an excellent match and they even found a way to make a distraction schoolboy not only make logical sense, but build to a rematch. I liked EC3 actually being a smart babyface and not only outsmarting the heels - but kicking their ass during a blindside attack. Spud vs. EC3 was yet another good match between them - it wasn't as good as their classic bloodbath, but still very good. Other than the officials trying to save Spud at the end for an unsanctioned match, it was solid story-wise. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2016/03/tna-impact-wrestling-3-1-16.html Screens - Rockstar Spud cuts one of his best promos ever http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/2y6xe5mfm1kk2igx3lex2oqogduj8b0a
  21. This has to be the most recap-filled Raw in history. They even got into recapping stuff from SmackDown! That at least added some context to Show-Owens, which got both back on the 50/50 treadmill. There was no life on this show, even with Taker coming out to choke Vince and agree to destroy Shane because then then Vince might feel guilty...and then Vince said he'd cut shane out of the will if he lost and disown him. The show-closing stuff with HHH and Dean was good though - hopefully Dean gets the proper main event push he deserves this year. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2016/02/wwe-raw-2-29-16.html Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/o8vi91lv35o1qdfiagxgeh2866ljmpaa
  22. It actually isn't a bootleg - PWTees has a FORMERLY KNOWN AS Edge section now.
  23. American Alpha vs. BAMF was fun, but every match they've ever had. Crews vs. Gerard was nothing. Bull vs. Ciampa was GLORIOUS COMEDY FROM START TO FINISH. The main event women's tag wasn't technically good, but I enjoyed Nia using solid psychology by pulling Eva closer to the corner for a tag and Eva being dickish to her partner to win it. I also like that title reign length in NXT doesn't just mean something in the short term - it's giving Neville something to do that can be presented as having some on-paper importance. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2016/02/wwe-nxt-2-24-16.html Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/tutar8lu2kj9drpq5ilccaztiiyrtijm
  24. Between Rosemary and Jimmy though, they really do need to NAME THESE ACTS ON DAY ONE. I shouldn't have to go to fucking Twitter to find out names of TNA talent while the show is on the air.
