  1. Miami QB just gave up his life to try to get a first down, probably broke his arm or something. Not good.
  2. Its not supposed to be but its shaping up to try to be, always enjoy a good potential upset story.
  3. The fuck. My mom stopped making my bed when I was six. I hope he's just being funny. Now I'm rooting against him just for failing to be an adult.
  4. Almost no Top 10 QB draft pick is gone after three years. Even Josh Rosen was still in the league (somewhere) until last year so he lasted five years floating around. I think you have to go back as far as JaMarcus Russell to find a QB drafted in the Top 10 that only lasted three years in the league, top QB draft picks will always be given more chances than other positions to hold a clipboard or be on the practice squad. So I don't think Bryce Young is going to be out of the league on his rookie contract but how long of a chance he gets as a starter is a different story. Barring injury, I think he'll get at least two years as a starter. One change now since the Russell era is the change in practice squad rules, the fact teams can have a veteran on the practice squad regardless of accrued seasons means high draft picks will be given more chances to just hang around for the year which wasn't possible in the old days. I bet Russell would have found a practice squad spot in 2010 if it was allowed.
  5. WILD HEARTS just got added to Game Pass so I guess I'll be trying that. I've read they fixed some of the launch issues, but also that EA is done adding anything to the game since it didn't sell like they wanted. I know, shocking EA decision. But I love Monster Hunter so I'll give it a go for the price of free. Opting for console though since apparently the game on PC has some technical problems.
  6. Well looks like the courts had no time for college football shenanigans so Harbaugh can't coach today, court is set for next Friday.
  7. Whether they have the right to do it or not I'll leave to a judge, but its kinda scuzzy to wait until the day before the game, on a holiday, to announce he wouldn't be able to coach this weekend in an important game. No reason it couldn't have waited until next week so Michigan could have prepared for who would take over for Harbaugh as far as game sideline decisions go.
  8. That's true but usually each year we all excitedly pick a -14 favorite and they randomly lose, knocking out 70% of the league in one swoop. But each week until recently we have had more of a variety this year, so even those big upsets only knocked out a smaller pocket. I fully suspect we'll all be out sooner than later.
  9. I feel like this is the longest we ever had 5+ people still surviving.
  10. Does Mike Evans understand how the trade deadline works? He can't come get him now and he's a FA next year so he could have just called him on the phone like a normal person once the season ended. Not like the Bucs are going to tag him. Football players are weird.
  11. Colorado went from fun to watch to really not fun to watch after just a few weeks. I don't know the real numbers but they must have one of the worst OLs in the country, and why am I watching football at 12:40 AM when I have to wake up at 9 AM to watch more football. At least we get an extra hour tonight.
  12. You know what, his loyalty mission just took too long to develop. I added him to my party towards the end and had a handful of spread out dialogues with him that were going in that direction, but I beat the game before I got to the point of it. I was probably just one step away from the end but I was just ready to beat the game at that point and move onto my backlog.
  13. Just realized I'm pretty sure I never went to Gagarin. I see y'all talk about it but I don't remember ever going there. I did very little 'exploring' on my own after I explored a couple boring planets and got over it, so I am sure I missed some fun things along the way. My second playthrough in two years is going to be great though, still so much to explore.
  14. My guess would be McDaniels does the ESPN circuit for the rest of this season and sees what comes up on the OC level in January/February. He could very well be a good OC but not all coordinators can be head coaches, he probably should give up.
  15. Guess Mark Davis watched that Monday night game too.
  16. I am doing well this year for the first time ever, very exciting. I am sure now that I said this I'll be knocked out next week.
  17. While I understand your frustration, I just went and looked at it and technically it was probably correct, or close enough to correct. The rule is apparently that the referee has to "touch" the ball before it is snapped to confirm the spot, not grab it and spot it himself, and a referee did do a drive-by and touch the ball before it was snapped. If you look closely, the sideline referee had his foot on the field where the spot should be, the other referee did a quick touch, and the sideline referee walked back apparently satisfied. I found a quote from last year from the NFL official that said "Seifert noted that by rule, the ball can't be snapped until an official has touched it to confirm the spot on the field" which technically the referee did touch it. Now, that is assuming the center had it at the right spot and the referee confirmed that on the fly would of course he didn't do. Normally we wouldn't even notice these things if not for the Dak situation, which was a whole 'nother can of weird worms all being opened at the same time on a national game. But I don't think here they broke any serious rules which is why its not being more talked about.
  18. I think Matt Ryan has said he stays ready to go.
  19. thank you football gods, I don't ask for much in this world but this I needed
  20. God I hope Jets/Giants goes to OT, I need more.
  21. Giants have -8 team passing yards today. Yes they are still winning. I can't stop watching this game, its riveting.
  22. Giants have had eight "3 and outs" so far today. They are currently winning.
  23. Lots of injuries today, I swear 15% of the starters in Giants/Jets have gotten injured already.
  24. Well the PFL situation is different since his contract specifically says he can take boxing matches on the side, I assume he wasn't dumb enough to offer them a % since they need him more than he needs them. I'm not saying it would have been the windfall that Conor/Mayweather apparently was for UFC but they would have gotten something rather than nothing since he was under contract. I'm sure someone in the media will ask Dana and he wouldn't admit it, but in hindsight between the highlight of Ngannou knocking down Fury and coming out without a scratch, Dana may wish he had been more open to the possible match, that's all I'm saying.
