  1. Watching the success of James Cook since Brady took over as OC makes me think Dorsey wasn't just a scapegoat but an active part of the problem. Bills offense has looked totally different since Brady took over. I do wish they could get Diggs more involved but they stopped forcing the ball to him and letting the run game cook, its just clicking so much better.
  2. Its a weird thing. I disagree with his list but its odd to me that people have such an issue with him having one. Tom Brady and Peyton Manning are #1 and #2 in career 4th quarter comebacks, which to me is the very definition of a game changer. Nothing is more game changing than having ice in your veins and dealing with the pressure to mount a comeback, and the fact both did it over such a long period with different coordinators, teammates, and even teams shows they weren't just a 'system' QB. But I understand where he is coming from as in a way he's making his own definition of the term. By his definition the only one I disagree with him naming is Joe Burrow (Burrow is stupid good but as far as being a 'game changer' he doesn't seem to fit with the others on his list). I don't know if it would have helped if he put out the second video at the same time as I think he explained himself well, agree with him or not he's certainly entitled to his opinion and has the credentials.
  3. I don't watch enough Chargers games to give an educated analysis, but even with a not 100% Ekeler its kinda mind blowing that before the Raiders game they had scored two touchdowns in three weeks. Especially as they had plenty of games this year, even as recent as early November that the offense was still pretty effective. I don't generally believe in players "giving up" on their coaches, at least not as a collective unit, but something had to have been amiss. Maybe he wasn't a great motivator, game planner, I don't know but the Chargers way underachieved the last couple years based on their talent on-paper.
  4. On the plus side, the chances of getting Scorigami are pretty good.
  5. Staley may not survive much after the season ends.
  6. That has to be a new record for how short of a time a hyped/top five selling game (even for a day) lasted before the developer shut down and the game was removed from Steam. Good work. Was gone so fast we never even got to talk about it in the proper thread.
  7. What a fourth quarter of the Dolphins/Titans game, I thoroughly enjoyed that.
  8. At least its not also on turf, we would have had a double whammy of complaints.
  9. All it takes is one owner to go so far against the spirit of a rule to get it changed. Owners and players didn't have an issue with deferred payments but they took it to such an extreme I can't imagine it not being brought up in the next CBA. As now there will other owners that say "well the Dodgers did it, so can we" and suddenly players will be offered a lot more money but with a massive deferment. Which kinda breaks the point of having some sort of quasi salary cap, even one many teams already ignore.
  10. It makes me wonder if one reason that drive never moved another inch is that Mahomes was so over the top pissed off about it he lost focus. Even during the post game handshake he complains to Josh Allen about the call (like the person that cares the least in the entire stadium), I've never seen such an over the top reaction to a correct call. The non-PI call against them last week was much worse and didn't get this type of reaction. I figure it has to be a combination of frustration from the season and legitimately being mad that Kelce's "legendary" play didn't count, its rare to see a player be so animated about a simple offsides call.
  11. To be fair we have no indication if that happened with Toney. With McLaurin, it was a situation where it was an illegal formation issue, related to how many are on the line. I don't think WRs typically ask the referees if they are offsides or not.
  12. Fake news. The picture going around social media is from an angle after the ball was snapped and the blue line isn't accurate. Its possible at the time the ball was snapped his hand was at the line but the ball was being snapped as he took a step forward. Toney was literally standing offsides like a dope. Certainly not a big enough "miss" for people to get excited about.
  13. He was yelling at the referee and I'm no lip reader but he certainly said "offsides" a few times so I figure it was about that. Toney was clearly offsides so either he was mad they called it, or it was a situation like last year where the WR thought he checked his spot/got the nod from the referee and the flag was thrown anyway.
  14. Toney single handedly losing games for KC is the content I live for.
  15. This Zach Wilson kid is pretty good.
  16. Not to sound like a salty sally and I realize the luxury tax is 80% fake, but teams really shouldn't be able to use deferred payments to get around it.
  17. I hope he signs with Toronto and everyone blames Dave Roberts for daring to talk about meeting with Ohtani.
  18. Betting Over on this shitty game was the easiest bet I made all year, its an offensive explosion.
  19. Hard to say. The reporter did an extremely long report on McDermott so we don't know how long he has been sitting on it while crafting the story. It wasn't just a quick tweet by Adam Scheffler or something that can be released at a certain time intentionally for a certain purpose. He could have gotten the information last summer for all we know, maybe Diggs leaked it after McDermott was an asshole when training camp started. Who knows. That's not to say it won't lead to his demise, although ESPN has it as happening in 2019 (TMZ said 2021, the article is behind a paywall so I can't read it myself). But I do think he damn sure better win this Sunday or hope someone else does something worse in the next five days so the news cycle moves on. Usually in these cases, either the person is fired immediately (well we'll say within a week) or they are safe. The news cycle moves too quickly. People were mad at Josh Allen for dropping N Bombs on twitter for a couple weeks then everyone shrugged and moved on. But he needs to win Sunday or hope something worse happens in the meantime, neither of those two things happen and I'd give him a 50/50 chance surviving.
  20. Wonder where Yuka will end up since she will be 'based' in the US next year. I doubt she'd leave TJPW just to hope for some indie bookings here and there so my guess would be she is going to be at least a regular in one of the larger promotions. AEW/ROH is the easy guess since she's wrestled there before but without any announcement its hard to know for sure.
  21. You don't fire a coach for something they said 2.5 years ago in front of enough people that everyone in the organization knew about it, unless you were looking to fire the coach anyway and were itching for an excuse. Bills fans that want him fired mid-season while still (kinda) in the playoff hunt are a special kind of nutty, there isn't anyone "waiting in the wings" in Buffalo that is a better coach. Unless people are itching for a Joe Brady coaching run. Evaluating after the season is still the right move, whether they want to take this information going public into consideration is up to them.
  22. I wanted Rodgers/Jets to go horribly, and it did, but I didn't want it to be due to an injury. So I can't be completely happy about the end result but seeing them break down is indeed fun to watch.
  23. I definitely won't deny there is a uh fanservice element and some people take it to a weird place.
  24. I'm not real sure how to feel about the "hang out" but I can see the appeal to people that really get into the roleplaying aspect of these games. In a lot of games you romance someone, get in a relationship, whatever but in the gameplay there are no changes. You have the little cut scene and from then on its business as usual which isn't "realistic" until there may be a special end game cut scene. So I figure the same people that actually try to make their character a "real person" (so to speak) that sleeps regularly and has long extra dialogues instead of just hitting all the checkboxes of what makes a video game exist, I can see why they'd enjoy the feature. For me, none of that is really appealing, I'm not the type of person that turns on "must eat" and "must sleep" in hardcore mode for games like Skyrim. I don't need my video game characters to have a realistic day to day existence, but to some its part of the immersive fun.
