  1. Yeah, I don't know why Meltzer is staying on that point so much because, like Bryan pointed out, it's not like they ever did THAT much to promote Warrior Week other than saying "It's Warrior Week." If they had pointed out how well the documentary is and all this stuff, then sure, I'm sure there were people who signed up just for the Warrior doc. I just find it hard to believe that people who really, absolutely had to see a Warrior doc weren't already signed up with the network.
  2. I'm tired of the flopping arguments to be honest. Everyone really does it. It's league wide. LeBron is a pretty bad flopper in my opinion and it's notable because he's the face of the league, but there are also people scrutinizing every play and contact he has unlike Joe Schmo from random lottery team. Also, am I correct that no one hear has brought up that Wade-George collision where Wade's knee (completely accidentally) nailed George in the back of the head?
  3. The NBA Draft should be renamed the annual "LeBron Apology Ceremony."
  4. If there was ever a time to announce the lottery wheel, this is it. Seriously, this is just ridiculous and if the Cavs aren't a contender in the next two years then they might be the most horribly mismanaged team of the past twenty years.
  5. Chris Paul defenders will be saying that for the next 5 years.
  6. I was so glad they won and I really want Indy to win this series, but I just can't get optimistic quite yet. They've been so inconsistent while the Heat, even in missteps, have been so consistent since the start of the playoffs. Game 2 is going to be a BIG story. If either team wins, the series could still go either way, but if Indy shows up like they did here, then they have just as much chance as the Heat do.
  7. I would love to see the Pacers beat the Heat, but I just don't see it getting done and not because Heat's this unbeatable team. I have OKC and MIA winning the conf finals, but for the hell of it, here are ll the possible scenarios for the Finals and my picks: OKC/MIA - I see OKC taking this one in 6. OKC having home court advantage is big in this series and the Thunder have more to support Durant than the Heat have to support LeBron. OKC/IND - OKC all the way, strong possibility of a sweep. I don't think it will do bad ratings only because of Durant. Might not do KILLER ratings though. MIA - Depends on Parker, but I could see the Spurs beating the Heat in 5 or 6 only because the Heat team this year is not better than last year whereas the Spurs team is better especially players like Leonard. SAN/IND - Burgundy's right - this has the makings of one of the lowest rated Finals which is sad. Spurs in 5 here. A smart team like the Spurs can easily dismantle the Pacers. Also, I feel very strongly that either Parker or Manu is going to get SERIOUSLY hurt in one game and that's going to cost them the series. I have a feeling it happens in OKC. I beat Parker sits out Game 1, plays Game 2, and gets injured in Game 3.
  8. Yeah, but I think the chances of a 4-0 sweep by the Heat in October was highly implausible and now, I'd be surprised to see Indiana take one game. It's so strange to see the Heat improve so much over how they were in the regular season and the Pacers be the complete opposite. As for the West, Parker's injury is going to dictate the series for me.
  9. \ Oh, he KNOWS..... Also, I think Clippers are going to get the ref's preferential treatment in Game 6 to make up for Game 5.
  10. You're showing a gif of him slapping his hand when BOTH HANDS WERE HOLDING THE BALL. Look at this: I'm more inclined to agree with Sydney though: You're completely right and they should have called it a foul....and they obviously tried to rectify that call by saying "inconclusive." I agree that they weren't thinking of the rule when they did this. It was a "make-up" call which is the absolute worse thing about NBA in my opinions. "Oh, we missed that foul, well let's call this brush a foul to make up for it." HOWEVER.... The rule clearly states that in this instance, the ball should have been OKC, and there have been numerous sportswriters citing old examples how this is the case. I'll have to find the clips they're talking about for offensive players holding a ball with two hands, getting slapped in one, the ball flies out of bounds, and offense remains possession. Edit: Big debate too is that the rule is vague and says "hits the hand causing the ball to go out-of-bounds." Doesn't say which hand has to be hit. Again, by the RULEBOOK, the call was good. But it was still a bad call overall.
  11. I might be crazy, but reading this rule, it doesn't sound like the ref's fucked up: https://twitter.com/DannySavitzky/status/466438214568673281/photo/1
  12. Miami in 6 with at least 2 of Miami's wins being straight blow-outs. Pacers, Spurs, and Thunder all in 7.
  13. DANIEL BRYAN PRESS CONFERENCE. SO GOOD!
  14. Can't believe Sheamus was on the panel. PPV was largely meh outside of an amazing six-man. Only thing I will say is that while it was a meh show, I think the angles were strong and the directions they are going in are solid.
  15. I'm like half-way through and there isn't one match I've really enjoyed. Still got the elimination match, the Gracie tag, and the main event, but this is feeling like a dud show.
  16. Actually read somewhere that this will be the most Game 7s in a Playoff ever....and we aren't even out of the first round.
  17. When's the last time a whole conference went to seven in the first round? It had to have happened at some point.
  18. If LeBron James leads the Heat to another title this year, I'm seriously going to have to retire my criticisms of him, valid or not. I know it's just the first round, but I just see so many strong teams falling apart while the Heat are still standing tall.
  19. Anyone else think its weird that Bryan and Dave have no idea how to pronounce Magneto and seemingly have no idea who this character is?
  20. What was the deal with Wall getting THREE FOUL SHOTS/
  21. Lance Stephenson as #2 was definitely not what I expected. Deserved though.
  22. He's not since Barkley's points don't really negate Shaq's point.
  23. I just doubt a team in 2014 with Deron Williams starting can win a playoff series.
