I often wonder what kind of career Danielson would have had if he'd started 10 years earlier, in the pre-Benoit murders era. That really did seem to be the thing that made people in the wrestling industry realize that CTE was real and a horrible problem.
Danielson is an all-time great potential, but obviously derailed by injuries, be they his body or his brain. Because of that he never really could establish himself in that next S-Tier echelon, where he crossed over and became famous outside of the wrestling bubble. I always hate seeing him make light of it when he does the fake injury angles in like ALL his big AEW matches. But its mainly because it makes me sad to think what could have been, rather than what reality holds.
Maybe it's just me.

Car update!
The Dolfan-mobile is on hold at the dealership right now. The main hangup at this point was their financing was somewhere in the 8.2% range. I got a promotional offer from Bank of America that got me down to 6.2%(!) on a used car. (And they were offering 5.9% on a new car!)
Have to cross some I's and dot some T's, but I should be on the road very soon. Thanks for all y'all's advice.

Apparently CM Punk is trying to restructure his contract.
However... it's not what you think when you first read that. He apparently loves the WWE now and wants to become a lifer. The word is he wants to do his final run and then when he's ready, "just settle down and run NXT."
This is a reminder that the Jack Perry incident happened less than 11 months ago. Crazy times.
