    1996 WWF was really underrated. I tried rewatching some of the 1998-late 1999 stuff and it doesn't age well at all. From what I remember, the Kreski era was the perfect mix of storytelling and in-ring action.

    So I've decided to start watching the WWF from Survivor Series 1999 on. I thought of starting earlier but I have no real desire to re-watch the Russo part of the Attitude Era but I am very interested in rewatching late 1999 - 2000.

    I've always thought that the whole "Sting didn't show up in shape" thing was a load of BS. The guy spent the last year and a half hanging out in the rafters, being a loner and only dropping in to attack the nWo. It's not like he had time to hit up the tanning bed and Gold's Gym. Sting looked very gimmick appropriate.

    I'm a Boston homer so I love Simmons and can't be unbiased about him. But as much as I like Olbermann, do you guys think that he'll be remember more for his political work? I feel like his MSNBC days way overshadow his ESPN work.

    To be fair, there were people who thought that Steve Austin and Bill Goldberg looked alike because they were both bald guys with goatees who wrestled in trunks. Everyone seems to develop temporary face blindness when they see a bald man with a goatee.
