BrianS81177
I'm trying to clear some space on my DVD rack, and a lot of the box sets I have for TV series are in bigger cases a lot of which have since been re-issued in slimmer cases (for example the first 4 seasons of Futurama). Does anyone know of a way I can order just the smaller packaging, or am I stuck having to re-buy the DVD if I want to save space?
Burgundy LaRue
There may be a better deal out there, but Amazon has packs of 6-disc cases for about $13.00. Reviews aren't great on them, though. You may want to look at the 4-disc cases, they seem to be of better quality.
BrianS81177
I hadn't even thought about just getting generics, I'll look into that. Thanks.
Burgundy LaRue
I misunderstood what you were asking--I see now, my bad. Some studios will send you replacement DVD cases for a small fee--I think Criterion does that. Still, it may prove cheaper to just do generics, especially if you or a friend is good at DVD cover art.
