TNA iMPACT - Airing May 9, 2024 from Albany, NY

*The System (Moose, Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards, & Alisha Edwards) opened the show with a Championship Celebration promo. Broken Matt Hardy interrupted and says they may have won at Under Siege but he got the better of Moose. The System beat down Matt and look to take him out with a steel chair but Ryan Nemeth makes the save with a kendo stick.

*Fir$t Cla$$ (AJ Francis & Rich Swann) def. The FBI (Ray Jaz & Zack Clayton) (w/ Guido) (3:40) when Swann pinned Jaz with a frog splash.

*The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) def. Deaner & Jake Something (10:00) in a Tornado Tag Team match with a double team on Deaner after Trey used the spraypaint on Jake. After the match, Steve Maclin attacked the Rascalz.

*Gabby LaSpisa interviews Ash by Elegance in the ring. Xia Brookside interrupts. Ash says she will give Xia one more match and if Ash wins, she gets her rings back that she lost in their last match.

*Jonathan Gresham def. Will Ferrera (3:36) via mandible claw pinfall.

*Speedball Mountain (Speedball Mike Bailey & Trent Seven) def. The ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey) (17:02) when Speedball pinned Ace after Ultima Weapon in a match where the winning team will face each other for #1 contendership to the X Division title. Mustafa Ali did commentary. After the match, Ace & Bey argued over miscommunication.

Pretty good little episode. Enjoyed the opening segment and I like Ryan Nemeth getting a role here. Broken Matt turning the System's cheerleaders to do the Delete motion was amusing.

Jake Something had another killer performance here, tossing the Rascalz around and the crowd dug it. Nice chaotic post-match with Maclin's attack leading in to his argument with Kazarian. I'm down for another attempt at a possible Maclin face run.  Main event was a pretty fun X Division tag.
