  1. Got my 209th Platinum trophy with PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate on PS4. The last secret level is a pain in the ass.
  2. The problem is, I will not buy GTA V for PS5. I can't even finish the PS3 version. Got my 208th Platinum trophy with Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin for PS4.
  3. Site I frequent said that Life Is Strange 3 would be called True Colors and would star an Asian American girl (how much that is true I don't know). I don't know why -- but I have a feeling they are going to announce Final Fantasy VII Remake Go. Either that or Deus Ex Go.
  4. THIS. I find myself only be able to play on my Switch for maybe an hour due to this. Beyond that time, I'm having to find aspirin. With Nintendo being Nintendo, I don't see them calling it a Switch Pro or Switch XL or a Super Nintendo Switch, just Nintendo Switch. They had a newer model that had less power consumption and they didn't make noise about it, just released it and kept the name.
  5. Microsoft swears they won't show any games at their event this month so it's probably going to be a typical Microsoft Azure Teams connected cloud reality bullshit they do now but with Xbox. I'd rather see more of Elden Ring at E3 and I'm hoping FROM Software isn't pulling a Dark Souls II on us.
  6. I somehow have seasons 1 and 2 of Powers for being a PS+ member. I don't even know what that is. Not to mention some other shows I've never heard of.
  7. I bought the gun metal PS3 with Metal Gear Solid 4 one time and walked out of Best Buy with it, then I had a slight panic attack over it and took it back. I sorta regret that I did that honestly. PS3/360/Wii gen is probably one of the better generations -- it took what was started in PS2/Xbox/Gamecube gen but made it better. There's TONS of games in PS3/360/Wii that are simply hidden gems that are slept on way too much. The only drawback is PS3/360/Wii gen had too many first person shooters that weren't that great and some of the games were painfully short due to a focus on cinematics.
  8. Pokemon Legends: Arceus looks like they went full Breath of the Wild while we wait on Zelda BOTW 2 in 2022/2023/2024/2025/whenever. I may actually get it even though I don't understand Pokemon and couldn't name one if I tried.
  9. I found State of Play to be a bit underwhelming. It's nice to know the release dates for Oddworld: Soulstorm and Kena: Bridge of Spirits and beyond Final Fantasy VII Remake getting a PS5 port, there wasn't much new. I keep hearing rumors about The Last of Us Part II getting a PS5 remaster and Factions multiplayer being revealed along with Horizon: Zero Dawn getting a PS5 remaster too, but I guess it wasn't during this month's State of Play.
  10. I am, although I will likely get it and not play it until the PS6 is out.
  11. That's never a good sign. Hopefully it won't go the way of Dead Island 2 or Dying Light 2 and release isn't even likely.
  12. I was briefly excited when they first started the trailer because I thought, "Wow, Nintendo is doing a Horizon: Zero Dawn like game in the Splatoon universe." Then it showed the city and I thought, "What, you mean you get to explore it like Yakuza and go to a baseball practice place or do karaoke or find an arcade that lets you play Mario Bros. or Donkey Kong? Sweet, sign me up." But nope.....just more Splatoon. Prepare to paint floors for 100s of hours. Everything else we saw was probably hub world stuff. Out of everything Nintendo has done, I can't muster up any enthusiasm for Splatoon. The music has a lot of punk rock energy, but that's it.
  13. SaGa Frontier Remastered, Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection, and Legend of Mana will have my money when they are out. The only drawback with Ninja Gaiden will be it will be the Sigma versions, so Xbox One will get that (as far as I can tell). Plus, you get to play Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge in 4K, which thank God you aren't having to play the original Ninja Gaiden 3. No wants that. Although if Koei Tecmo wanted to, they could have it be ALL the releases of Ninja Gaiden on consoles (Xbox version of Ninja Gaiden, Ninja Gaiden Black, Xbox 360's Ninja Gaiden II, and yes the original Ninja Gaiden III too along with Sigma 1 & 2 and Razor's Edge). I'm 'eh' towards No More Heroes III. People seem to forget that the gameplay for the first two were boring as hell. Neon White looks great and Knockout City actually looks like fun. Now where's Shadows of the Damned Remastered?
  14. Got my 207th Platinum trophy with Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc on PSVita. The story of the game is great (Chapter 2's trial is especially moving), but Bullet Time Battles are terrible. School Mode is also terrible until you get the hang of it (essentially it turns into resource management and when you finally build the tools, it turns into easy mode).
  15. By the time I get through my PS3 backlog, the PS6 will be out.
  16. I will probably get it day 1, but I need to Platinum/beat Ratchet & Clank A Crack in Time....for PS3 first. Along with beating every other installment in the series. Fine, I'll just wait until Black Friday to get it, I might have time by then.
  17. Akiba's Trip: Hellbound and Debriefed got announced for an US release this summer. I will probably be the only person from this board who will buy it. Maybe.
  18. Like other Annapurna games (except for maybe Sayonara Wild Hearts), it may prove to be an easy Platinum. Although that's not the reason why I'm getting it. I'm actually surprised it was coming so soon -- I thought it would be late 2021/early 2022.
  19. Got my 206th Platinum trophy with Persona 4 Dancing All Night on PS4. The game is only available as part of the Persona Endless Dancing Collection as a downloadable code. Unfortunately, the code expired on the game and I don't think it can be redeemed anymore.
  20. Final Fantasy XIV is coming to PS5. I guess I should just stop what I'm doing and work on the Platinum for the PS4 version -- there's a possibility there may be a PS5 trophy patch. But that requires logging 1000 trees and synthesize 1000 culinary items and.....yeech.
  21. Well, they're probably meeting somewhere and having a laugh about the ZeniMax founder being asked to sign a copy of 3 Women. Got my 205th Platinum trophy tonight with LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues for PS3. This is for the European copy, which has a separate trophy list. Nearly the same experience as it was the first time I did it.
  22. When I saw Robert Altman died, I thought "Oh shit, the guy who directed MASH, McCabe & Mrs. Miller and Nashville died," then I realize it was a different Robert Altman.
  23. Judgment is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on April 23. So yay, you get to do minigames and all that shit again while doing a criminal investigation.
  24. That's incredibly shitty of Google to not plan more than that. Did they just expect people to buy Stadia and play the same games they could play on PS4/Xbox One and be okay with that? What made those consoles work was they had something to draw you in -- whether it's Sony's first party exclusives or Microsoft's Halo and GamePass. Google needed something like that to get people to sign up. I'm sure there was something that Jade Raymond & co. were working on, but we'll never know. At least it's not Amazon's attempt at video games where they release Paragon, then 'un-release' it like a day or two later.
  25. I actually used a glitch to get the Speedrun and Crushing trophies at once. This only works for the disc version. 1) Beat the game on any difficulty. 2) Delete the patch and uninstall game. 3) Install the game and leave it at 1.00. 4) Go to the last chapter (Epilogue) on Crushing. 5) Ding! You'll get Crushing and Speedrun trophies at the end of it! If you do it legit, it's harder. But yes, the trophy list is insane, but at least it's not Uncharted 2 and 3's PS3 DLC trophies (shudders).
