  1. I remember MSL from over on MLW Radio tying Jarrett to some NASCAR racer through some names around the birth of GFW. Don't remember the exact details, but I know MSL lurks here... Possible money mark with NASCAR $$$.
  2. A Booker T DVD set is overdue along with a BEST OF THE CRUISERWEIGHTS one.
  3. Alex Greenfield and Court Bauer on this week's MLW talked up the Punjabi Prison match due to it being a Greenfield joint. Apparently, the original concept was a straight up ripoff of the Japanese C4 Deathmatches and Vince was all on-board with it. After the sign-off, Kevin Dunn got involved and things got all changed due to him and his team half-assing it all or intentionally sabotaging it (my take, not Greenfields). I can't believe we were robbed of a potential all-time classic smoke-n-mirrors shitshow like that...
  4. Some recent things from my site, WCW Worldwide (plug for all you on mobile, have signatures turned off):
  5. I think it is but I'm all about the main MLW crew and Jim Cornette. I've been enjoying the archives and weekly Drive Thru were Cornette answers fan questions. Haven't given Bullet Club guys a try though.
  6. I dunno... There was that digital BEST OF CM PUNK IN TNA release whenever he got hot in WWE. I think I liked that one a little more.
  7. TNA announced a new DVD release, starts shipping on April 1st:
  8. I laughed so hard whenever Konnan talked about visiting Hardy's place and getting creeped out by the "giant aluminum foil [origami] dolls" that he has setup all over his place. Jeff Hardy is one creepy dude.
  9. Fun thing: March 16th, 1997's ending to WCW Uncensored and March 16th, 2015's ending to WWE RAW both had Sting appearing out of nowhere and killing all the baddies with his baseball bat. For WCW, it was Sting finally firing his first shot against the nWo after weeks of hiding in the rafters. For WWE, it was Sting finally tearing through The Authority after hiding at home and sending in creepy video packages.
  10. That's a common thing with Piper. His shows are all over the place but I've come to love them.
  11. Today's the anniversary of the final WCW PPV. I don't think I've ever even seen it.
  12. Happy St. Patrick's Day, ya filthy animals.
  13. ProWrestlingTees are selling a mock version of it on Vader's page. Looks close enough to the original.
  14. Yup, that was in the Russo era. He smashed a bottle of tequila over Liger's head to win the title. NJPW weren't happy and didn't recognize Juventud's reign officially until the late 2000's.
