  1. The video package for Bailey was amazing at the 49 minute mark: http://network.wwe.com/video/v36120209
  2. I'm going to get in trouble for this but: Posting on the board from Youtube is another technology you don't understand apparently. What's this weirdness? Save the DVDRness for the TNA thread.
  3. DEVITT, BECKY AND KENTA filmed in technology I don't understand:
  4. No they didn't they just said he hanged himself from his bed post. It could sexual misadventure.
  5. Connor The Crusher's brother chokeslamming Kane backstage over the weekend:
  6. Solely based on the match layout last night it is obvious Neville is being called up and Breeze is winning the belt. The match was only about Neville standing out. WWE 101 booking is that Breeze loses on TV, wins on "PPV". Fairly sure it was Adrian Neville and Sami Zayn.
  7. Elgin doesn't think. Read his statement on Twitter about this whole situation. He denies then goes about confirming the stories. Trevor Lee is a Gabe/EVOLVE guy. Elgin was silly here. Posters are talking about how it is 2014 and it was fake - a view seemingly formed by watching too much WWE. But ROH wants to have the belt to be perceived as prestigious. The ROH title still matters and it will get you noticed by WWE or TNA and a signifier of topping out on the Indies.
  8. Actually protecting the belt goes back to Gabe. It ultimately makes sense if you what ROH and the title to be seen above everything else.
  9. It is reality TV fluff not Bill Watts UWF or The Wire.
  10. Season 3 and people are still vexed about what is fake and what is not.
  11. Why? They are one of the best things in Wrestling.
  12. Confriming what I have been telling people via sexy Twitter DMs: http://www.pwinsider.com/article.php?id=88099
  13. So, they take the championship away from a guy for even talking about trying for a legit sport? Baseball tryouts aren't for a while anyway and he's a long shot for making the team. Modifying plans for THAT is just weird. I don't think it was on basic principle of him wanting to do it. More him talking/tweeting without thinking past the immediate situation. As ROH Champion the week of an iPPV most of his public communications were about his pie in the sky baseball career.
  14. WWE thought he was too bland.
  15. Meltzer confirms my REPORTS about Elgin on this morning's radio show. He was going to win up until Friday night/Saturday morning. The ROH read that interview about baseball.
  16. Same as most people. Especially those on Twitter/those who follow him on Twitter. Total "I want to drive choo choo trains when I grow up" manchild. He is a total mark too. A lot of wrestlers do it too but he is the fastest person to vanity search comments after a match. A type of thing were seemingly he does it before he showers after a match. If you aren't on Twitter here is an interview he did this week: http://www.f4wonline.com/more/more-top-stories/104-ring-of-honor/38793-michael-elgin-talks-trying-out-for-major-league-baseball Not the talk ROH office would like out of their Champion.
  17. It did I knew about the title change on Thursday. "Elgin is Elgin" but the baseball thing changed the perception of him internally from this child like man to "he's a fucking headcase" Very enjoyable show the feed was absolutely excellent.
  18. Ok, that's fine. We get it. You've reiterated those point constantly. So either contribute to the kind of meaningful discussion you want to see, or leave. It's not that difficult. You contribute just fine in the NXT thread. You can do it here too. What's the point when it just gets lost in the "yes it is, no it is not" game with EN90? DVDR used to be about watching and talking about Pro Wrestling. Not whatever this thread is. I shouldn't have to even contribute to the thread. A thread called random TNA news should contain predominantly random TNA news and discussion of the same.
  19. It is honestly a major job of wading through pages of crap such as debating Heyman's possible role in TNA from 5 years ago which I remember you guys going back and forward with EN90 on 5 years ago. Which is a non-productive exercise both then and now.
  20. The yes/no game with EN90 or posting from newzsites? Or both? Honest question. As there is actual real news about TNA that could be discussed but both things above seem to distract from the whole "random TNA news" remit of the thread.
