Couple of more quick things - So Valentina Rossi had to revert to her other name due to Kayla Rossi being on the same show, I'm assuming. Still don't care for Kayla Rossi, but good on the Diamond Shiek for getting on the show again. Not sure how I feel about the more human-esce Abadon. The outfit was nice though. Julia Hart's new theme song is A BANGER.

Soooo did everyone forget the whole dread we went through during the whole Elite/Good Brothers/Callis period where they were basically AEW's Authority? Cause people sure were cheering Kenny and The Bucks tonight. They're still heels, nothing's changed other then Hangman getting his pride back. Interesting point I think everyone else passed over - during Wardlow & FTR's promo they mentioned The Pinnacle is still a thing. I was wonder if they just kinda dropped it or where they were going with it. Is Spears still a member? Or MJF? None of them were technically kicked out other then Tully. Also glad we (kinda) got an explanation from Hobbs about the Team Tazz story, and that explanation is that we don't know why he did it yet. It's better then skipping it over! What was Tony Nese coming out for before Mox attacked him? Poor Varsity Blondes, that was a pure burial job for them. Totally called the Gunn Club swerve, glad we've got DADDY ASS back.

Loved Daddy Magic on commentary, and I have a new favorite wrestler in Free-Range Kara.

Called Sonny joining earlier in the week. Strange they had them wrestle at the beginning of the show only to reveal the join at the end.

I called Sonny being asked to join The Trustbusters the minute I saw he was being teamed with two local talents. It's....an odd paring.

I've been saying this since she first came to the company, she's just the worst.

To be fair, it looked like the cameras didn't want to give it any love either.

So I get that one of the longest standing wrestling tropes is jerk millionaire, but it was just done with Matt Hardy and then Andrade and the HFO/AHFO/AFO...so why Davari now? Also I'm not sure I understand the two guys he's currently got...how are they Trustbusters? What do they have in common? And for god sakes WHAT IS THAT THEME SONG? IT'S TERRIBLE.

Called the Undisputed Elite breakup, ironically enough they were pushing their shirts SUPER hardcore so I wasn't 100% sure it was going to be happening. And no, the Bucks will forever remain just awful people in general, despite Hangman coming to save them. GREAT camera work during the attack though, that's right up there with Miz Girl. Sooooo the Hobbs/Starks angle reveal....was not one of my 5 choices that I previously mentioned, and was generally surprised. But I'm not sure where they're going with this. (As with the reason why he joined, which we never got) we need an explanation as to why Hobbs attacked Starks. One thing that confused me was Tazz repeatedly saying Hobbs is going to pay for Starks. Why? Since Tazz represents none of them any longer, why does he care anymore? Rosa continues to be the low point of the show, just sloshing through another match, bringing everyone else around her down, showing up in situations she inserted herself into. She's basically the Sasha Banks of AEW at this point. I hate Ethan Page, but is ATT done? I'm okay with Stokley bring in new people but where's Dan Lambert? Scorpio? Props of the night go to Best Friends for their two kids in a trenchcoat spot.

That might be the best episode of that show, ever.

So explain this to me; what exactly is the connection with Punk and FTR?

So I watched the show on Wednesday, but just now had a chance to post about it: The Hobbs/Starks situation is very intriguing to me, simply because of how many directions it could go, all of these have popped in my head: 1) Hobbs leaves Team Tazz, both remain heel 2) Hobbs leaving Team Tazz turning Hobbs face, Team Tazz remains heels 3) Hobbs leaves Team Tazz, remains heel, Team Tazz turns face 4) Hobbs acted alone, due to feeling held back/forgotten/left behind, could either remain heel or turn face 4) It's disclosed that Tazz told Hobbs what to do, turning Starks face, but puts Hook's status in some kind of limbo 5) Starks turns face but is kicked out of Team Tazz 6) Starks turns face but is kicked out of Team Tazz, Hook joins him (the fist bump at the end of the match makes me think there might be something between the two, but not sure what exactly)

THE STREAK IS OVER. So very, very happy for Baron Black! He was (I believe) the last holdout from the Covid-era talent left to win a match, great that he got to win in his hometown, and he's actually got theme music? Hopefully that means he's sticking around.

Team HELL NO would like a word.

I'm REALLY hoping that Baron finally gets his first win. I believe he's got the longest losing streak of all the Daily's Place talent left. Butcher/Blade/Angelico is now my new favorite six man tag team.

.....so is Anna out of The Dark Order? I was seriously expecting Luchasaurus to turn on Jungle Boy immediately, surprised it didn't happen. I really want to know what it was that Christian whispered in his ear to cause the initial turn. Eddie should have won that match, give him his dignified win finally. It was fun, but that ending, sheesh.

The whole Nexus story is going to be my vote for the worst. Not since the Invasion angle (which is by the way my vote for number 2) has something with such promise gone so wrong, and done so badly. For the past week or so, I'd have to say of Christian after every promo, "That's some high quality-heeling". He's taken the MJF spot for the time being.

But that just seemed it was in reaction to QT's interruption. Him saying that randomly has no context if QT doesn't interrupt. Uno made it seem like he had something beforehand.

Every time I think of Rosa, I think of the episode of The Simpsons where Flanders finally has a meltdown and is berating everyone: "Is that the voice of butting in? It must be Lisa Simpson, the answer to a question nobody asked!" I don't get Rosa's appeal, and every time I see her it seems she's getting involved in someone else's business because it seems she doesn't have any of her own. Not a fan at all. What was -1's announcement going to be exactly? They just kinda forgot it. I loved the internet's reaction to Daddy Ass turning on The Acclaimed, haven't seen people that upset about something in a while.
