  1. Yeah - Michael Cole doing the demo on how to use the WWE Network sadly makes me too happy
  2. In the dying days of WCW - there were still some fun matches. I prefer the Kid Romeo/Alan Funk match but the only version online is choppy as shit. I might have to rip my own copy of it.
  3. Courtesy wwe.com - Headhunters on Raw! Which makes me pour through WCW Nitro archives to find out what was on that was so awesome that I missed this segment. Nitro - June 30, 1997 WCW World Cruiserweight Title Match: Chris Jericho © defeated Juventud Guerrera (6:48) Singles Match: Eddie Guerrero defeated Dean Malenko (3:59) WCW World Television Title Match: Steven Regal © defeated Hector Garza (3:36) Singles Match: Psychosis defeated Super Calo (2:40) Six Man Tag Team Match: The Four Horsemen (Chris Benoit, Ric Flair & Steve McMichael) defeated The nWo (Buff Bagwell, Masahiro Chono & Scott Norton) by disqualification (3:31) Tag Team Match: High Voltage (Kenny Kaos and Robbie Rage) defeated Mortis & Wrath (1:15) WCW United States Heavyweight Title Match: Jeff Jarrett © defeated Konnan (4:11) Singles Match: Kevin Nash defeated Rey Misterio Jr. (1:48) Six Man Tag Team Match: Diamond Dallas Page, Lex Luger & The Giant vs. The nWo (Kevin Nash, Randy Savage & Scott Hall) (w / Elizabeth) - No Contest (4:00)
  4. Okay - you suck for reposting this since I posted it on like the first page and Ed sucks for liking your post and not mine
  5. Also - one of the earliest times I heard of the Headhunters... and well ECW for that matter was because the Headhunters wrestled Crash the Terminator and Miguel Perez Jr in a baseball bat match. For some reason the Apter mags LOVED talking about that match. It doesn't appear to be on the interwebs. EDIT - AH-HA!!! The entire card is online. The baseball bat match is the main event so you can skip to the mark 1:29:20 mark http://youtu.be/bnERuz9cFrY And it really brings back memories because the video quality is so very JoMosh level
  6. Courtesy wwe.com - Headhunters on Raw! The Headhunters were also in a Rumble - the 96 one in fact which we already covered under Takao Omori
  7. Finally decided to roll a tag team. Generally I won't do any teams that are comprised of guys who also had a lot of singles work... or teams that were around for a hot minute. Anyhoo - I think my favorite thing about the Headhunters was doing the 500 and always saying B was the better of the two. And I will start off with the obvious match to post of them
  8. Well Skins sources are saying that Hasslet wanted to make changes (like not playing the 3-4) but Shanahan refused so it lookes like Snyder/Allen believed him. Of course - other folks are reporting that Raheem Morris is going to be the DC and Hasslet might stay as like Assistant HC or something
  9. Jim Haslett is supposed to remain as the DC in DC per sources And the Bengals are supposed to be hiring Hue Jackson as OC
  10. Yup - Adam Schefter is now reporting it is a done deal and Gruden will be introduced this afternoon
  11. Word is coming out right now that the Skins want Jay Gruden as HC and are negotiating with him. And to go with that - Gruden postponned his interview with the Vikings. So... yup
  12. I believe many a man would say "If you are not down with the swine, you are not worth my time"
  13. Yeah - in scrolling through everything, this was the biggest question I had. Because since NXT is the only thing I watch on Hulu+ - I am thinking this will just be a straight swap for me. (Plus since I just got suckered into doing Amazon Prime for the year - I am thinking anything I could have potentially wanted to watch on Hulu will be on Prime)
  14. The 6 member class is the largest since 2008 and that class only had Rich Gossage as a player (it was a whole lotta executives including Bowie Kuhn... grr...) Ignoring 2006 (when they put 20 guys from the Negro Leagues in) - you have to go back to 1999 for a larger class (7 people and a legit 7 at that - Brett, Ryan, Yount, Orlando Cepeda, etc...)
  15. Josh McDaniels has withdrawn from the Browns coaching search
  16. well the rule was made in 2001 that the HOF They do solicit player input - I just found a good article from 2009 that has a lot of the answers Speaking specifically about Winfield - from that same article
  17. The HOF picks for you. That started around the time Wade Boggs was willing to go in as a Ray (I think it might have even been part of his contract with the Rays) There was a lot of hubbabaloo when Gary Carter went into over whether he should be a Met or Expo
  18. I was just talking about this with Ed. Since Maddux did not break Seaver's record - is Derek Jeter the last chance? I think Mariano won't do it because there will be enough "Oh he was just a closer" people And I don't think Junior will do it because to many folks will claim that "he probably did PEDs" Big Unit was a dick so he won't do it Pedro's career was shorter and he was a dick so not him either Who am I spacing on?
  19. I accepted a long time ago that my all time favorite player wasn't going to make the Hall of Fame but I am thrilled that he is going to get his full 15 years on the ballot.
  20. Raffy was attached to PEDs If he wasn't he would hang around the back end of the ballot. I think it is as simple as that.
  21. Now you are just trying to hurt me Joe 8.2%!!!! USA! USA!
  22. Jacque Jones got a HOF vote. Nope... nothing wrong with the system at all
