Right before he “retired” he wrestled at an ROH show(Not the last one, the one before). He looked big there too. He also got hurt in that match, and looked way off. He seemed to be in a better head space during that Dark match, though.

Funny I just turned on the app because all this old Nitro makes me want to watch mid-90’s New Japan, and totally forgot this was happening. I’ve only caught the celebration, but the finish wasn’t in doubt before I clicked.

I swear, Hacksaw Jim Duggan has about four different segments from Hogan’s initial heel turn to February where he gets a match, and then gets a Gene Okerlund interview where he openly challenges the nWo. He hasn’t gotten into a fight with the nWo once yet. The closest was Sting beating his ass in between.

I gotta say, I disagree with some of the sentiment around here: I think Andrade could easily pull off being a world champion, even apart from the nerdy booking dreams of having Charlotte show up as a heat magnet. Everything he does just looks so, so good. Maybe he will eventually fill the AJ Styles role of wily, respected veteran that you can throw into the world title mix whenever you're not sure what else to do.
Oh he looks so comfortable now more than ever before. He’s also developed such a nasty streak with all that added upper body mass. I was surprised by how little he used lucha based offense here, and how good he was at doing the simple mean little things. I guess this was a demo for his eventual match with Darby.
