I had to dig up a tape yesterday for someone and found two tapes with Ken Patera's All Star Wrestling Alliance on them. I'm not sure I ever watched these. Looking forward to it.

Still have all mine. I've converted a shit-ton over the years and those have been moved to a dark corner. The others I keep on my trade lists because I can convert them if necessary...which is good since there might be stuff on vhs that never made it to dvd yet. When I convert tapes for people I make a dup for myself on dvd and move the tape to the dark corner pile. Works pretty well.

Some of that card besides the Bulldogs - R&R match aired in Japan. Speaking of Mike George, his "timekeeper" gimmick in '89 was a sign that times were very bad for the promotion. Destruction Crew promos from that time period are lots of fun, though. I'm of the mindset that Enos and Bloom could have done their Destruction Crew gimmick anytime from 1985-onward in the AWA and been successful. It would have been fun to see them against teams like The Rockers or Badd Company.

I'd definitely be down for this one, and, to be fair, Will and others have recruited me in the past for other AWA-related podcasts (the viewing parties Will was doing for the AWA set, for example). It was my own nutty schedule that kept me off of them. If I'm not on the podcast I will listen just as intently. It's the AWA, after all.

Do you have an older version of Excel that it wants you to convert to DL the file?

You'll be doing a results podcast, I assume?
