I was wondering something. If the Lucha Bros are leaving, is Ricochet basically Fenix's replacement? A high flying, absurdly athletic guy who you can give a title to and no one will question it?

I'm 100% on the record as an anti Punk guy, but I couldn;t agree with you more. As much as I think Perry is interesting now, it doesn't happen without Punk. I was so enthralled ALL fucking episode, then the video lit up and it was palpable excitement until......Perry.

I also woke up an hour early for work so I could rewatch Danielson/Swerve. Just absolutely pitch perfect pro wrestling in terms on in-ring, emotion, drama. Just everything.

Obviously, Danielson has had some amazing AEW matches and it might be recency bias, but I love that you could easily make an argument that Swerves/Hangmans/Danielsons best matches in AEW have been against one another.

Punk beating Hangman is probably the biggest mistake AEW has made in booking their World Title.

Not much more I can add to what was an absolutely spectacular show other than, I've always been a Hangman guy but I've never been more of a fan of him as it stands right now. Every week he gets more unhinged, his hair more mangy and his mustache more spectacular.

Excellent post Natural. I'm honestly a bit misty at the prospect of this being Danielson's last match ever. My first experience seeing Dragon was, and I absolutely consider myelf lucky in my fandom for this, was at the very first ROH show, live in Philly the day after my birthday in 2002. Ki v Dragon v Daniels. To say my mind was blown was/is an understatement and that match and show is the backbone for my preference in wrestling. I hadalways been a death match guy, as I was attending every ROH show I could, I was simultaneously hitting up CZW every month. Dragon was far and away better than anyone else in ring and he always has been and while i still love DMs, his presence alone shifted me towards workrate.. As a fan, it's been absolutely an honor to witness the man's career from beginning to end.

I just got the Briscoes Vault figures from Jazwares. Holy shit, the quality on these far exceeded what I was expecting and I had high expectations.

If that were to happen, I'd love to see a return of Cable and Domino, Cable at the very least. Cable, Wolverine and Deadpool all have contrasting personalities, so it would be fun to see them play off of one another.

I can't wrap my head around that decision at all. I'm going to have hunt that one down, chase or not, because my daughter is an unbelievable Willow fan. I was thinking earlier, RSC does some decent two pacs, like the MJF/Punk dog collar match, Darby/King, etc. I wonder why they havent done a Swerve/Hangman TDM two pack. With how well they got the blood for the MJF/CM one, i think they could really get a lot of mileage with a collectible for that match specifically.

Yeah, the upcoming lineups are looking awesome. RSC has an amazing Toni Storm collector figure in a black white "VHS" box and its tremendous. Where did you happen upon Alex Reynolds? I've been searching for the chase Bunny. I like and also dislike the idea of one in a line being only chase. I read that Takeshita is the chase in an upcoming line and it sucks because he should be having a real run with it. I found chases of Danhausen, Nyla Rose, Brodie Lee and the chase Ricky Starks where he is dressed like Darby, but other than that, my chase discoveries have been limited.

The Jazwares Vault figures are exceptionally well done. I might start grabbing these exclusively and let the AEW ones pass for a bit until the figure quality gets back to where it was.
