I know Benson wants to get the taste of that Cerrone decision loss out of his mouth, but he should not have jumped in to take this fight.

Damn, I just realized he hasn't fought in over a year. Is there some reason for this?
-
I'm not going to ignore how you complained that he wasn't in the title picture. OH MY...I complained that someone isn't in the title picture! BTW Lombard was - until testing positive like a dumbass - booked to be in a title eliminator against Rory. So somebody at Zuffa (finally) felt he was worthy of being in the title picture.

They just had their biggest month in PPV since what....2009 or 2010? And what I was talking about is that it has been brutal in terms of negative headlines. I'm sure Dana would prefer the big PPVs numbers minus the "Jones tested positive for coke" and "Anderson Silva test positive for steroids" headlines.

Yes, because PED users are never in the title picture. ;-) You want to talk about this being a brutal year for the UFC now?

Well, Lombard failed his drug test. Bang up first six weeks for the UFC in 2015. http://www.mmafighting.com/2015/2/10/8014473/nac-hector-lombard-failed-ufc-182-drug-test

Hector Lombard tweeted that he didn't even know his fight had been cancelled.

So does this mean Jones/Johnson isn't going on May 23 and we'll get Lawler/Rory instead?
-
Ah, the patented Dana/Zuffa "we stand behind the guy/you're gone" swerve.

Okay, I'm now on the "everybody's juicing" boat.

Gabe Rudiger and Mac Danzig are the two latest former UFC fighters to file a lawsuit. Yes, the same Mac Danzig who defended the company to death against Cody McKenzie this past December.

According to Cesar Gracie, Diaz didn't get licensed until a couple of days before the fight as he couldn't provide a clean sample. http://www.mmafighting.com/2015/2/4/7975801/coach-nick-diaz-wasnt-licensed-to-fight-until-days-before-ufc-183-due

Given that this is Diaz's third failure, he's probably looking at 18 months at best. I'm thinking he might get 24 months like Chael did after his third failed test.
