I think it is funny that they created a ranking system to better ensure the top fighters get further in the tournament and it backfired on them in the very first fight.

Per the post-fight show, Overeem broke Rothwell's right arm early in the first with a kick. Yes, the same arm Rothwell used to KO him.

That was the right decision. I'm not condemning the decision to let him go. I can understand that because things looked really bad at the time. However, Dana spouting off that Thiago will never step foot in the Octagon again was a bit impulsive.

Well, it is blinking in the sense that they are chopping an hour off of their main card running time. Therefore, a two hour show at 10pm will have a much better average WITHOUT the inclusion of the originally planned first hour at 9pm that competed with Bellator.
