Saw someone point it out on Reddit, and I feel like a complete dimwit for not realizing till now that Roman's theme is basically the Succession theme.

I thought that the first time I heard it when he debuted the song at Mania a couple years ago. Just a perfect theme honestly.

All of the Collective is on FITE+.   The Impact/New Japan show is on FITE but it is a PPV.    I did do the 7 day free trial to Highspots for the Wrestlecon SuperShow

I might wait until after Mania weekend to do the 7 day on Highspots. I wouldn't mind seeing recent PWG. Maybe watch BOLA from a few months ago.

  3. I knocked out the last two Shrinking episodes along with last week's Lasso last night.

I've really enjoyed Shrinking. It may be the most I've enjoyed Ford in anything honestly. However, I could have probably done without the final moments of that finale, and this probably follows in the footsteps of Lasso with having a much heavier and darker second season.

I thought Lasso this week was just a fun episode of television.

Most up to date confirmation of what night was announced for what Night (I am taking this from Wiki but all the original sources were WWE.com. Obviously things can change)

    Saturday (Night One)

    • Austin Theory (c) vs. John Cena - WWE United States Championship (confirmed to be opening show)
    • Seth "Freakin" Rollins vs. Logan Paul
    • Trish Stratus, Lita, and Becky Lynch vs. Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky)
    • Brock Lesnar vs. Omos (with MVP)
    • Bianca Belair (c) vs. Asuka - WWE Raw Women's Championship
    • Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Rhea Ripley - WWE SmackDown Women's Championship

    Sunday (Night Two)

    • Roman Reigns (c) (with Paul Heyman) vs. Cody Rhodes - Undisputed WWE Universal Championship

There are 6 matches (that have been announced) still left to be placed so if both nights are exactly equal - 1 more will happen on Sat and the rest will be Sunday

I'm going to guess that both Owens/Zayn vs Usos and the 4-way women's showcase go to night 1.  Or you have maybe a third match added so you leave room for a longer main event and for there to be some impromptu matches.

hey, quick update. I have had a string of terrible happenings to a degree that's kind of hard to parse and I'm still recovering. I will get to this, because I gave my word that I would and I stick to my word, but I don't know when because I don't want to make new memories while things are so bad.

I hope that through everything, you'll come out on the other side ok. I'm sorry it's been a rough go. Life can definitely be a gauntlet at times. Sending good vibes.

Yep. So, it's Diablo as fuck, but it's also pretty damn great and everything that 3 should have been. They've definitely taken/borrowed shit from Path of Exile and Lost Ark, which isn't surprising.

It's also a beta so we're not getting a full sense or feel for this being an open world game. I certainly don't feel dumb for dropping $90 on it and a few of my friends did the same. I just wish we were able to play more than a couple classes right now, but supposedly we'll get a chance to try out the Necromancer and one other during the beta.

I keep debating buying 2 or 3 because I've never played one. I've heard 3 on the Switch is actually kind of a fun way to experience it. Although, I figure the Xbox purchase will finish eventually, and all will be game pass accessible.

I think it’s worth remembering that there was a time in 2018-2019 when Elias was so hot that they had to turn him face (to disastrous results). I can definitely see the LA Knight comparison there.

Also, seeing Elias in his current state as a character just bums me out because I'm a mark for that gimmick. I'm especially a mark for the heel aspects of that gimmick, and the dude is competent enough as a worker. Some of those matches as Ezekiel were really fun.

  8. I watched a couple minutes of a stream while on a conference call. I'm hoping to knock out a couple hours after work. Are they forcing the timing meter on falls this year? I quickly switched to the button mash meter fill kick out on last year's version.

  9. I preordered the icon version of 2k23. All of the enhancements have me intrigued. I actually really enjoyed 2k22 for what it was. I'm not sure we'll get a WWE roster that strong in a game again given a lot of that was developed pre AEW acquisitions. Might give that some farewell hours this weekend.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty totally looks like My Shit but my backlog is so big. Damn you, GamePass. I'm currently trying to play PSVR 2 games, Mario Rabbids, Midnight Suns, and Atomic Heart all at the same time as it is, then Wo Long arrives. I need to clear out my situation before Zelda releases.

This doesn't even take into account I'm ignoring the new GoW exists and Octopath Traveler II, two games I fully intend on playing this year.

Imagine being a not smart person like me and continually adding to it when you're lucky to get 2-3 hours in of gaming a week.

  11. I missed my mileage goal for February due to a stye in my eye derailing me for about a week. I was still happy to knock out 35 miles in the month, which puts me at a hair under 80 for the year. I also entered the NYC marathon lottery for the first time this year and did not get selected. I'm going to treat it like I did the Masters lottery and enter every year and know at some point I'll sneak into one. I still intend to knock out at least one 26.2 this year as that's been a goal for a long time. After having done 2 13.1s, I can say it's definitely a daunting challenge.

I also am still trying to figure out smart ways to include time for strength training and better dieting.

  12. We are about to swing into spring and summer concert season along with summer festival season. This thread started years ago over my excitement over Bonnaroo and was basically just a festival announcement thread. I don't foresee making the farm this year (I do wish I had snagged tickets to Railbird), but I at the moment have a fun schedule (busiest one maybe ever) on the docket with some other ones on the horizon. My shows lately have been either Jam focused or big acts I've yet to see in person. Upcoming shows for me (card subject to change):

    Umphrey's McGee - Pensacola, FL
Billy Strings - Mobile, AL (Night 2)
Lukas Nelson & POTR - Destin, FL
Shovels and Rope - Dothan, AL
    The Revivalists - Atlanta
    Foo Fighters - Birmingham
Swell Season - Nashville (Mother Church).

I also am hoping to catch Tyler Childers, a date of Dead & Company's final tour, Goose, or Phish along with whatever else pops up that seems doable.

There's a theory out there that United's success might mean thar the Glazers won't sell now, or at least sell their majority stake and just take on financing.

Yeah, but if it's Qatari financing, it could still bring about a lot of changes and make that situation queasy. The US backed firm is a slightly better solution, but I know part of the issue is the supporters want American ownership out of there.

  14. Yeah, I'm really happy that United is starting to come back into prominence, but it sounds like the ownership change shenanigans could end up wrecking that.

I'm bummed I haven't fit more PL into my schedule as I'd like to be a bigger Man U fan than the casual one I've been my whole life (one of the main things I want to do when I go to the UK finally is see a game at Old Trafford).

I'm at that time of the year where I put FF XIV to the side for a bit and let my ADHD pick things for me.

Final Fantasy (I) Pixel Remaster is easier than I remember the original being (played it on my then brother-in-law's NES a million years ago), but will still let you get way far into the story before you realize that your party makeup is bad and you should feel bad. (Monk is awful squishy) (Red Mage is not an acceptable substitute for Black Mage)

I'm also getting the itch to waste 80 hours in FF XII again. (It's the music)

And I should really make a real effort at Hades, since I've never gotten past the 11th or 12th room.

I'm actually debating whether to get the Pixel Remasters on Switch or on PS5.

Probably makes more sense to have them on Switch, but trophies and stuff.

Watched the first two episodes of Shrinking. I'm in love with it. If Ted Lasso does indeed end this year then Shrinking will take over for it nicely.

I'm almost caught up on watching this too. Got half way through the most recent episode last night. The highlight of it oddly has been Harrison Ford who makes his gruff personality charming in this.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope already plummeted in price, this is a quick sale but once one seller does it the rest usually follow. I am currently playing it and its pretty fun, it feels like it just was under-advertised or got lost in the shuffle. Anyway, $28 on Best Buy until tomorrow: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/mario-rabbids-sparks-of-hope-cosmic-edition-nintendo-switch-nintendo-switch-oled-model-nintendo-switch-lite/6464074.p?

I need to pick it back up, but I snagged it over the holiday when it came with the first game as a digital download. Opening sequence is fun.

  18. I ran a hair under 44 miles for the month, which I'm happy with. I just need to make more time to get some weight training in as well as dialing in the diet to start seeing some fruits of my labor. Aiming to break 50 this month, which means by early march I will have hit 100 miles probably the earliest I ever have in a year.
