When Cena/Sheamus/Orton were the top faces, them being superfaces who didn't face much adversity was always a complaint. Now you got Bryan/Punk/Ziggler as faces and the machine is the heel faction who won't be booked like idiots, and they will get the upper hand often.
The goalposts have been moved. They've tried to counteract heels getting cheered by turning those guys face and purposefully playing towards the smarkier stereotypes and topics like size and WRESTLING.
The reaction to this angle going forward will be amusing, thats for sure.
One of the big problems and why I've specifically stopped watching is that the heel faction is the same heel faction from 13 years ago. The job of the heel is to eventually get the babyface over.Can anybody recall who ended up more over after feuding with The Trips & McMahons show?

WWE have been on fire this year & have been great in the last couple of months in particular. Do I love everything? No, of course not...but I never will. But we're half way through the eighth month of the year & I would already put 2013 above the last several years.
I'm on the other side of this, as WWE has finally gotten me to stop watching after over 25 years.

Some of you think Punk/Brock won't continue? I see this going on for a bit longer with Punk trying to earn Brock Lesnar's respect, with Punk challenging Brock again and getting beat again, but he shows even more heart in that re-match. Then they can do a third match and build to it with there being serious concern for Punk's health, but he winds up pulling out the victory, he gets to thrash Heyman, and he gets Brock's respect.
It shouldn't. Brock shouldn't lose between now and WM at the very least.

As I mentioned, I turned it on for a moment while cooking. As of late, I've been passing on the shows and just watching highlights afterwards. This week I didn't even bother with that.
