  1. Honestly, they really need to focus on making the game playable on next-gen consoles and not worry about current gen. Yes, they'll lose more money because of current gen install base, but it'll be a more stable product and more in-line with the PC version. One of the reasons they delayed the game was they wanted it to be playable/stable for several different versions; I wonder what happened with that or did they rush through that because people complained about the delays. Oh well, by the time I'm ready to Platinum Cyberpunk 2077, it'll be playable on a PS4!
  2. FOURTH. I Platinum'ed Demon's Souls for PS3 three times (North America, Europe and Japan). Each region has a separate trophy list.
  3. Got my 200th Platinum trophy tonight with Demon's Souls for PS5.
  4. Great, a trash game for the Switch.
  5. So I've encounted a bad glitch with Demon's Souls where it says I have 11/12 Miracles obtained and I learned the last miracle. The trophy doesn't pop. I'm REALLY angry right now with Bluepoint Games and with my PS5. THIS is how you lose people, Sony. EDIT: Someone on the trophy hunting site corrected me and it turns out to be that I have to have the spells/miracles on my character for it to pop. The new trophy system on PS5 is confusing to me.
  6. Not even 2 hours later, I decided to try The Playroom VR again and try for the last trophy I need for the Platinum. Ended up getting it and got my 199th Platinum trophy with it. Now: Time to finish up Demon's Souls on PS5 for my 200th Platinum.
  7. Got my 198th Platinum with Battlefield Hardline for PS4. Had help with the three online trophies but overall the game is rather easy, even on Hardline difficulty. The only problem is you can't skip the cutscenes. This is probably one of EA's best campaigns but not as good as Dead Space (for obvious reasons). I had wished Visceral survived and there were a Battlefield Hardline 2 to continue the story. Too bad it won't happen.
  8. I'm the most excited for this game. The gameplay looks incredibly fun and it's like they made it for people who have a great memory for the history of videogames.
  9. The new Mass Effect has me cautiously optimistic. I'm not sure another post ME3 game is really needed, especially after how Andromeda turned out. Part of me want to see BioWare/EA do the "Star Trek Enterprise" of Mass Effect and show how the whole in-game universe was setup. You play as a character who helped start the Citadel and you lead a group of humans that are meeting the Turians and the Quarians for the first time and have to avoid being killed by the Krogans. A lot of the game would be on Earth and would be analogous to Red Dead Redemption but with sci-fi elements. You'll help pilot a ship using the slingshot beacon for the first time ever. Plus, you'll see the Asari as they really are (note, it'll be an Eldritch horror alien race, not what we saw in ME1-3/Andromeda). Instead, it'll probably be something else.
  10. Microsoft announced a new Perfect Dark, which looks incredible for a trailer but I want to see its gameplay and I really really really want Microsoft to have new IPs for the Series X/S. Given that they want it to be like a Sony First Party Game (Horizon/God of War 2018/Spider-Man/etc.), I think it'll be fine. I just want them to take that level of creativity to a new IP.
  11. Got my 197th Platinum trophy with Destiny 2 for PS5. Probably the fastest I've ever earned a Platinum. Essentially, download the PS5 upgrade, put the disc in, load the game, and voila instant Platinum if you've already gotten it for PS4.
  12. Having gotten the Platinum for Astro Bot: Rescue Mission on PSVR, my reaction to the network speedrun trophy was "oh no, not this shit again." The game really isn't designed for that sort of thing, but they shoehorn it, probably because one person in the office enjoys it.
  13. Yeah, I may go for that Platinum after I (hopefully) Platinum Demon's Souls. The sad thing with Demon's Souls is because not as many people have a PS5 and have the game, there isn't as many people available to be summoned or to summon for help with bosses. I'm at the point in 3-2 where I fight Maneater and.....they patched out the fog gate glitch where you could shoot arrows into the Maneater prior to the fight. So I definitely need the help.
  14. I wish this were coming to PS4/PS5. Which reminds me, I need to 100% PixelJunk Eden for PS3.
  15. I think Avengers was doomed from the start. They expected a Destiny 1-like turnaround but it wasn't going to happen. Also, I got my 196th Platinum trophy this morning with The Deadly Tower of Monsters. Surprisingly easy game to Platinum and was actually fun to do.
  16. Got my 195th Platinum trophy with Shadow of Mordor for PS4. Probably one of the most frustrating AAA games I've ever had to play - the combat sorta sucks, the stealth elements really suck, and the game loves to throw swarms of enemies at you and your character loses health very fast. I may do the DLC later after I get my 200th Platinum.
  17. This is Ubisoft we're talking about. So the online mode is never coming out because they will never fix all the single player bugs.
  18. Shadow of Mordor is probably one of the worst AAA games I've ever played that I've tried to Platinum. The combat sucks, stealth really sucks (like you have to be quick or you break stealth easily) and the missions/collectibles aren't fun. Nemesis system is neat I guess -- but the game feels like they spent more time working on the Nemesis system and forgetting to do everything else.
  19. You mentioning the GPU song makes me want to listen to it again. Kraftwerk would be so proud of Team Asobi for that song.
  20. I will more than likely buy this when it comes to the US. When I will Platinum it....I don't know.
  21. Got my 194th Platinum trophy with Severed. Drinkbox seems to be good at making games that are long on style but has some bullshit taking place that taxes your patience. Severed works on the Vita but it's really annoying to play and get a hang of. Awesome ending song though.
  22. Got my 193rd Platinum trophy and 1st ever Platinum trophy on PS5 with Astro's Playroom took a relatively short time to Platinum. The only drawback is the count doesn't change on my PS4 but it shows up on PSNProfiles and on PlayStation app correctly. Getting closer to 200 Platinums. I have a few ideas as to what to do next.
  23. Picked up my PS5 yesterday from Best Buy and set it up. The DualSense is an experience and one of the most amazing controllers I've ever seen. It takes Nintendo's HD Rumble and steps it up above and beyond that. I can't wait to see what other games do with the controllers. I've been playing Astro's Playroom and Demon's Souls and I love them a lot. Also, Astro's Playroom makes me want to go back to my collection and play the Easter eggs that have been scattered throughout the game (like God of War 2018 or Concrete Genie or Metal Gear Solid 2 for example). The only issue I saw was it took over three hours to install game data from Demon's Souls. It's running fine now but I think it's the game disc. I checked Spider-Man Miles Morales and it took me less than 15 minutes to install data from the disc. I'm going to return Demon's Souls and should be getting another copy soon from Amazon. Also, I'm not ready to give up the ghost on PS3 yet -- so I have to unplug the HDMI and Ethernet cables from it if I want to use my PS5. Other than that, I decided to work on Severed, which is a Vita game, for the next Platinum. I'm about 50% of the way done and the game is decent but a lot of the battles are near impossible at times. Drinkbox seems to not really test Severed out and realize that it may be too hard for a touch based game. I'm at the third dungeon, The Citadel, but doing a bit of backtracking to collect upgrades and explore the maps.
  24. Got my 192nd Platinum trophy with Star Wars Battlefront II. In comparison to the first Battlefront, this is a lot easier and actually more fun to do. The problem is there is no easy way to grind XP -- you end up doing co op missions for hundreds of hours to get XP relatively quickly. Also, the multiplayer trophies are a lot easier to get than the first game. Also, I'm playing Assassin's Creed III for PS3 and....it's pretty much Star Wars in Colonial America. Connor even shows up at Ahch-To to ask to be trained by Luke Skywalker as a Jedi....oops, I mean Achilles Davenport's homestead to be trained as an assassin.
  25. Soooo....I managed to buy a PS5 this morning. That will be ready for pickup next week. Argh....how will I Platinum GTA V now?????
