Sony's doing that "Spend $100, get $15 credit" thing this week. So you can get Trials of the Blood Dragon and maybe/probably beat it. Or do what I'm planning on doing and getting The Witcher 3 expansion pass, Dark Souls 3 season pass, Uncharted 4 expansion pass and Just Cause 3 expansion pass.

I won't get a NX, but I will get Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Wii U. It's as if Aonuma played every AAA game on PS3/360 (Fallout 3/NV, SOTC/ICO, Skyrim, Dark Souls, etc.) and found elements he liked that would work for Zelda. I'm actually excited.

Half Life 3/Left 4 Dead 3/Portal 3 in that order. Yeah, Beyond Good & Evil 2 and Prince of Persia 2 (the Nolan North voiced Prince). I would say Starcraft Ghost but the dream is dead on that.

The Neo will probably get announced closer to the release window.....I imagine we're going to hear about the Neo at PSX this year. I have a feeling that yes, VR games will suck without the Neo. Also, I really don't feel that there's anything that makes me want to get a PSVR. It feels like tech demos, not actual games. Sony at this point really doesn't need to do anything to win this generation but the more I reflect about their conference last night, the more I was disappointed that the games I'm really excited about (God of War, Days Gone, Detroit, Death Stranding, etc.) do not have release dates. That's the one thing that Microsoft has over Sony is their AAA games have more specifics when they are announced; they just don't have enough of them. I don't get why Microsoft doesn't look at their first party studios and do moves like what Sony did -- Sony has a studio that made Syphon Filter and PSP/Vita games making a blockbuster action game. To give an example -- Black Tusk (or The Coalition) had that amazing stealth demo at a previous E3. If that was a demo at Sony, it would have been an actual game. But at Microsoft, it gets cancelled and Black Tusk becomes "the Gears of War studio." Essentially, I would love to see Microsoft have a first party game that's ghostwritten by Naughty Dog.

All Microsoft has to do is sell Halo and they will maintain their existence with Xbox. Or offset it with selling Windows 10 PC's.

At Microsoft right now: Sony wins. They had a mix of stuff from this year (COD Infinite Warfare, The Last Guardian), next year (Horizon: Zero Dawn), HOLY SHIT (God of War, Days Gone, #Spider-ManPS4, and Death Stranding).

Microsoft had me on board with the Xbox One S until they pulled out "Project Scorpio" and then said that all three would work together. I went from "hey, I'm going to get the Xbox One S to play Gears 4, Halo 5, Sunset Overdrive, Dead Rising 3, Recore, etc." to saying "Fuck Microsoft" in 90 minutes. That's impressive. The problem is Microsoft HAS to make games with "Project Scorpio" as the lead console. Otherwise, what's the point? They say it's 'beyond generations' but if in 2017 you have a Xbox One game that looks incredible on "Project Scorpio" and looks OK to great on Xbox One/Xbox One S, you know what you are going to do. I fully expect Sony to do something similar with their PS4K, but at least they have games I want to play now. I caught the last 20 minutes of Ubisoft's E3, but Steep has me excited. SSX + open world = YES. Now EA needs to give us a SSX and Skate 4.

EA managed to disappoint me again -- Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 launching in the SAME MONTH is a terrible decision. I have a feeling that Battlefield 1 is essentially like SW Battlefront -- EA thought, "Hey these people bought a game that was multiplayer only, so let's do it again!" Notice that there hasn't been anything about any sort of campaign in Battlefield 1 (unless I'm mistaken). Titanfall 2's single player reveal has me excited -- this is the sort of next-gen Halo I've been looking for. EA doing "behind the scenes" bullshit with Star Wars also is infuriating -- I had thought Visceral's Star Wars game was much further along in development and I thought that DICE had something ready for SW Battlefront 2. Respawn's Star Wars game might be trying to be a Jedi Knight. Bethesda surprised me but this card game crap has to go. I was hoping there would be a "Wolfenstein New Order 2" (or New Colossus in a 'blink and you miss' reference) and The Evil Within 2. Prey surprised me and had me wishing it was Dead Space 4 or System Shock 3. Dishonored II looks like a BioShock game at this point (Ken Levine should team up with Arkane for his next game seriously, they get it). Quake Champions had me excited until I heard it was PC only and I have a feeling it's either a) going to be F2P or b) will cost something.

Watch_Dogs 2 will come out the following week after Dishonored II. I'm going to be like this the next several months:

Yeah, I'm not exactly sure if I'm really excited about the game when I think deeper about it. Aloy is hunting robot dinosaurs and they doesn't appear to be a food source in the game. How are they eating and staying alive? You can't eat a robot dino.

World of Final Fantasy just got a new trailer and October 25th release date. How can I finish FFXV and Exist Archive in a month? Much less Platinum them?

Volition has unveiled Agents of Mayhem, which looks surprisingly like a Saints Row sequel -- the debut trailer feels like Crackdown meets Overwatch meets Saints Row. Also Horizon Zero Dawn has a release date of February 28th, 2017 and Final Fantasy Motherfuckin' XII: The Motherfuckin' Zodiac Age is coming to PS4 in 2017 and I will pre-order that so fast.

Spec Ops mode in COD Modern Warfare 2 on Veteran and with the laggiest servers I've ever seen. Most of the missions are impossible to do solo much less with one other person.

Got my 57th Platinum with Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Remastered.

I've heard a rumor that Rockstar Games will announce a Red Dead Redemption Remastered and possibly RDR2 at this year's E3. I believe the Remastered rumor but not so much RDR2. Dishonored II is real and has a November release date, how much more is needed?

The final area in Portal is the biggest bunch of bullshit I've ever seen. Portal 2 is a better game but requires really dumb online and if trophy hunting is your thing, it requires you to do co op mode, various trophies/achievements, and hug three people on your friends list and complete calibration course with someone who has never done it before. The problem is match making on PS3 to PC is bugged and Valve refuses to fix it.

The reveal is a shit idea and Marvel should have never approved it. Oh yeah, they killed off Professor X, had Red Skull harvest his brain and Wolverine is still dead. They are slightly better than DC, but not by much. The reveal would be about to the level that Superman was never from Krypton and the idea was planted in his head by Lex Luthor and he was created in a lab. Or Thomas Wayne faked his death for whatever reason and Bruce Wayne became Batman as a result of a lie. Think about that for a second. It's stupid.
