    Next two weeks is JRPG goodness. Exist Archive: The Other Side of the Sky is out on October 18th and World of Final Fantasy is out on October 25th. Batman: Return to Arkham is out on October 18th (where everyone can be tortured by Shock And Awe Extreme challenge as they try to 1000/1000 gamerscore or Platinum it again). Then we got Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 a week apart. What a time to be alive.

    The PS4 is pretty much my dream system: it's AAA blockbusters, weird niche games, and really good indie games. The only drawback is it's got The Order: 1886 and No Man's Sky. Can't win them all.

    2017 looks worse than 2016 for me. Gravity Rush 2, Yakuza Zero, Persona 5, Horizon: Zero Dawn & Mass Effect Andromeda in the FIRST THREE MONTHS???

    You're probably right. The next one I'm planning on getting is FFXV, The Last Guardian, Gravity Rush 2 and maybe Rise of the Tomb Raider & DQ Builders.

    I went ahead and bought Mafia III yesterday because I'm tired of playing the same bald guy in video games. And the gameplay looks flat out awesome.

    Well, Sony should give them that access. So much for the PS4 being the easiest system to develop on. I'm not planning on selling my PS4 (Microsoft and their Xbox 360 last-gen prevents me from doing so), but even a Sony fan like me can't excuse this.

    Sony's plans with PS4 Pro are annoying. Why release a system that doesn't play UHD Blu Rays and not really a true 4K system? So basically if you have a 4K TV, you'll have TWO devices hooked up. One to play 4K blue rays and one to play PS4 games & regular Blu Rays. And Sony are being idiots for not allowing mod support in Skyrim & Fallout 4.

    I know -- but you would think he would at least try to find something to adjust it instead of saying he couldn't play it. Normally, I like Jason Schreier (he's about the only actual journalist with "video game journalists") but if there's nothing there to change, S-E needs to patch Star Ocean V. Still, I'll get it because screw reviewers.

    That's the most nitpicky bullshit I've ever seen. "Oh, I don't like this game...the camera gives me motion sickness!" Life's tough, wear a helmet. Or I don't know...fiddle with the settings until you find something less barf inducing.

    Sony is shutting down the Japanese servers for the LittleBigPlanet series on July 31st. The worldwide servers are still up, but it won't be long before it is shut down worldwide. LBP Karting's online will be shutting down on August 31st and LBP Portable's online is shutting down on July 31st. Trophy hunters, start trophy huntin'.

    I never pay attention to 'video game journalists' anymore, so I would say go for it. It's grindy and there's levels to grind and it's full of Japanese weebo waifu ness. So it's great.

    I don't really compare the new Tomb Raider to Uncharted at all. To me, the new Tomb Raider is more like Batman: Arkham Asylum but with guns. It has insane amount of collectibles in each area. Even if you don't care about trophies/achievements, it's still a massive amount.

    For the one or two people who care about this, Konami is shutting down the online mulitplayer for Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 on August 25th, 2016. Also, Sony is shutting down the online for LittleBigPlanet Karting on August 31st, 2016.

    Beat Uncharted 4: A Thief's End this morning (on Hard no less). The gameplay on Hard isn't as 'easy' as it was on UC1-3 (I pretty much got to the point where I had the games memorized). The story for UC4 is a better story and goes a long way towards Nathan Drake as a character. The ending and Epilogue are truly great. The whole game really tries to make a game for adults by talking about things that aren't in video games in a mature manner: family, relationships, love, fulfillment, and happiness. Nathan Drake and Elena Fisher's relationship over the course of four games is really spectacular as well. Plus, I'm jealous of their house at the end of the game.

    I actually liked the Desmond sequences in AC franchise. Except for AC III. I already know. And that's a dick move by Ubisoft. Have you contacted their Ubisoft support people who spent French and smell over the phone?

    To those developers I say, "Too bad, too sad." I haven't bought anything on Steam's sales since this change.
