She'd probably want to take lariats from Stan Hansen, Kobashi, JBL, and Okada consecutively and still tell them to hit her harder.
Oh, and TMZ is reporting she's not dead yet, but gravely ill.

The server space is going to be through the roof, unless we start a DVDVR Network.

Reading about the Dudley Boyz story, she was even crazier about the type of spot she was willing to do:
Bubba Dudley addressed how delicately he did the move: "I picked her up very lightly, put her down very gently. After the match was over and we'd gone to the back, she came up to me, grabbed me by the wrist like only Lou Thesz could have done, 'Listen, hotshot, if you're gonna slam me, slam me like one of the boys.' You could imagine the look on my face, seeing this little, blonde lady telling me that. From there, we did the spot where I Superbombed her off the top of the stage, 12 feet from the ground, through two tables. She has since suggested to me on three different occasions that we do the same spot from the top of the steel cage.

The top of a steel cage? That would have been even nuttier. RIP Mae.

I am surprised to see there isn't a thread for 2014 yet, so I figured I would start one.
To start things off, I'd like to post the Leyenda de Plata final from last Friday between Titan and Negro Casas. So much good stuff in this match. Casas busts out a DDT into the turnbuckle, which I don't think I've ever seen before. Titan gets some real spring on his dives. Loved the story they told of Titan really being at Casas' level, and Casas put over Titan like a million bucks at the end of the match.

Furthermore, we can't be that far off from Impact Wrestling being archived on the WWE Network. Not that there's much there now, but the old X Division stuff would go nicely with a crusierweight focused show.

RAW and Smackdown replays are fine by me because I work evenings and don't get home until they're over. I also skip commercials to make the show go faster and FF anything I find boring or uninteresting.
The fascinating thing about the WWE Network to me is how (or if) independent wrestling in the United States is going to react/adapt to this seismic shift. If WWE is offering any and all wrestling your heart desires for $10/month, it makes it that much more difficult or off-putting to sell $20 DVDs for shows or put on $15 iPPVs that may or may not work.
Either independent wrestling needs to create their own Netflix type service, indy promotions will be forced to run more often to truly recreate territories to come anywhere close to creating a viable catalog offering to provide the IndyFlix type service, or do their damndest to try and become a Class A or Double A affiliate to NXT's AAA for WWE and get eyeballs on your promotion that way.

UK version of #struggleface
Edit: Anything Nottingham Forest can do, Man City can do better. If a 5-0 drubbing cost AVB his job, two straight can't be good for Big Sam.
Are the Hammers that desperate to play Millwall in the Championship next season?

Given the weather in most of the US, this is appropriate:
-
To the dickish promo by the Young Bucks, to the lights going out a la ECW, to the reaction after he takes care of the Young Bucks, absolute magic.
-
So happy for the Swans. After Blackpool got relegated I decided to support them and its been a good run. A Capital One cup last year and beating Man U at Old Trafford without Dyer in the FA Cup is fantastic. Laudrup has done an outstanding job.
-
Negro Casas is still the man.
-
Overrated chant.
-
Boomer Sooner looked like it actually showed up for a BCS game for once.
-
Instead he ended up in the doldrums of TNA where he had a decent unbeaten streak, X division run, and a good Kurt Angle series before getting some stupid tribal stuff on his face and in essence disappearing off the face of relevancy and the earth.
And best you believe the bitter shoot interviews are coming to a Highspots near you.

More Ric Flair, this time his promo is mashed up with Kanye West.

This Ric Flair one is just as good.

What, she tripped, fell, and landed on his dick?

King of the Hicks FTW!

ESPN's reporting that Houston has hired O'Brien.
And I assume the nutjobs at Happy Valley are busy trying to dig up the corpse of Joe Pa so he can coach the Littany Lions again...
-
Nope. No. I'm sorry A&M. You don't get to give up 48 to Duke and then chant SEC afterwards.
100% agree. One of these days, the SEC will get the rightful curb stomping they deserve.
I'm of the belief they can only do this when they curbstomp lower teams. However, when Hawaii got stomped in a BCS game, it didn't make sense to call them overrated when the SEC team playing them had a higher ranking.

I suppose this is as good a place as any to wish everyone who participates on this board and provides me with endless entertainment and none of the drivel of other wrestling message boards a very Happy New Year.

I would figure she did the shooting.
If he was not white, then absolutely.

I suppose the Cowgirls shitting the bed will help ease some pain for Bear fans like myself.

I finally got around to listen to the Cornette interviews because of how much everyone on here was talking up the rib.
Dennis Condrey: Cold. Hearted. Snake.
If you can picture that rib story being played alongside this Paula Abdul hit, holy shit.

For the big shows like Mania, I don't think so since the live gates are lots of $$$ and the fan Axxess I would think would give them lucrative photo-op opportunites. For the smaller shows, maybe. But at the point that millions of viewers are also watching the PPVs with the new system, it shouldn't affect them as much as we may think it might.
