On top of Patrick Willis retiring, Justin Smith is going to also do the same.

Some more FA signings: Devin McCourty is back with New England. 5 yrs, $47.5 million w/ $28.5 million guaranteed Brian Hoyer is signing with Houston for a 3 yr contract Ted Ginn Jr. (and his family) is going back to Carolina

Darnell Dockett is going to sign with the 49ers Vince Wilfork is now a free agent as the Patriots decline to pick up his option. Sad news as a Patriots fan, but not surprised.

Stephen Gostkowski recv'd the Franchise tag for the Patriots and not Devin McCourty.

He was well behaved last season w/ the Patriots and had some success. But I don't see a spot on the roster for him there w/ Gray, Vereen, James White and Branden Bolden holding down the fort.

Makes sense. Familiar with the system, and with Mathews and Donald Brown dinged and Woodhead gone for the year, they were down to Branden Oliver & Shaun Draughn. I don't think he has much of anything left in the tank.
