Seth or Baron Corbin should've probably warned Hunter having a go at Ospreay wasn't going to end well.
Did H3 say his name? He could have been talking about multiple people. Ospreay is winning the internet thinking he did the ultimate burn.H3 is busy making money for his employer. Kinda like what Punk said about these guys stepping on their own dicks.

At the end of last year I thought 2023 AEW felt a lot like 1998 WCW. While you can argue that 1997 was where you can see the cracks, the end of 1998 was where you can see the potholes and wonder how this was going to fuck my car up (sorry having Philly WM flashbacks) . Last night was there WCW 1999 moment. I guess we should be mildly encouraged they did it in April while WCW did on the 1st two weeks of the year. Plus the wrestling when they actually do it is still really good unlike WCW 1999 where the emphasis on that was near the end. If they would have just done the footage then maybe the damage would have been fine. But they show the footage THEN do the Will Ospreay shoot comments on Triple H and then almost immediately they have the heel beatdown with the CM Punk chants
This needs to get out of Tony's and the Bucks system but unfortunately nothing seems to do that
Between the Punk footage and jackass Ospreays HHH comment this is getting to be Russo TNA bad.....bro

It's basically a done deal for all intents and purposes. The second phase of this is if Merulo manages to get the land and build an arena he has a wink wink agreement to get an expansion team. So by then it will have to be seen how serious Atlanta is

Its interesting these are coming out as 'releases' as TK has historically not released wrestlers but rather let their contracts run out. Not to say these aren't early contract releases but I wonder if they are wrestlers that were on per-appearance deals or if he is changing his thought process.
Or his TV rights conversations aren't bearing the fruit he imagined. These are drops in the bucket releases. He probably wants to see the online backlash he gets before he does anymore

If they’re releasing people now, they should release Malakai and Miro.
No way on earth he would release anyone that would get a job with the competition

Well I guess the Yankees will be signing Blake Snell later today

Jerry Jones is evidently caught up in a paternity suit with a 27-year-old.
Thankfully for those of us not in possession of copious amounts of brain bleach, the suit alleges he is the 27-year-old's father, not the father of her child.
Thank God. I am sure he is only shooting dust out of that thing by this point

Lucky guy. That killed my father in law on January 18. Zeis is one of the few local scribes I enjoyed when he was on the radio for segments

It’s real grass, they roll it in for games.
Also, I don’t think I’ve ever seen this many candy commercials in a Super Bowl.
Get the people diabetic then roll out the Ozempic commercials

How many of those 29000 buys got drawn in by constantly hearing about the industry changing signing that TNA had made only to find out it was Nick Nemeth. D'Amore has to know they need a lucrative TV deal to make any money and AXS TV isn't it. I don't know if he thought he could cut a TV rights deal if he owned it outright but he probably dodged a bullet there and now TNA is back to being a zombie wrestling company. Only now probably booked by Tommy Dreamer. Yuck

Willing a trade to The Bears into existence. I'm off the Daniel Jones train. Gotta keep him next year the way the contract is structured. But get the best QB and let him sit while Jones crashes and burns one last time.
But the number 6 pick probably just isn't high enough to get a new franchise QB.
At number 6 the New York Giants select.....Shaddeur Sanders Colorado

I feel like Vrabel getting fired is less about his win/loss record and more about him apparently butting heads with/wanting changes within the upper management structure.
Vrabel seems like a guy that the players respect but he also strikes me as the current version of Jeff Fisher. He will get another shot but will be in another no win situation like Carolina

Probably was planning to fly to Toronto then the Dodgers did the top this one. Heck of a deal for him. Unsigned guys right now have their pants off

I hope he signs with Toronto and everyone blames Dave Roberts for daring to talk about meeting with Ohtani.
Didn't Ohtani spurn them before when he signed with the Angels? I'd say he hates the colour blue but Blue Jay blue and Dodger blue are the same

It’s not like Rogers doesn’t have the money.
Well that's it. When Ted Rogers bought the Jays it was because no one else was interested and it was programming for his network. He hated sports and gave them no budget. Edward Rogers III comes off badly and is an annoying rich guy most likely but he has ego and is a sports guy. It's time they acted like a big city team. Investing in the stadium and spring training facilities was important. Dunedin was becoming an accident waiting to happen

Sucks that the Jays whiffed on both Soto and Ohtani.
Ohtani was the only one worth pursuing. Jays really didn't match up with what the Padres wanted playerwise and would have had to empty out what's left for 1 year of Soto. I'm still slightly hopeful for Ohtani coming to Toronto. Steve Simmons of the Toronto Sun had a good point for once in his life. Rogers is out from the money losing NHL rights deal in 2026. 50-60 million a year for Ohtani is a bargain compared to the 500-550 million they are giving the NHL. The Jays when they are in the hunt gets Sportsnet better ratings than hockey.

AEW isn't going anywhere but their next TV rights deal will or at least should be the point where TK is forced to calm down on signing as many people as possible. I have zero doubt that someone in WWE or the wrestlers themselves is leaking out info that WWE is interested in signing all these free agents and pushing TK to up offers when I was more likely to sign with WWE than Will Osprey. TK will need to learn eventually building up the young guys is more cost effective than rolling Adam Copeland out. Punk is a proceed with caution type guy. Have him put shine on those that desperately need it. They will probably throw him in with Logan Paul or something

Yeah maybe he shouldn't have but this is what happens when the boss doesn't feel like acting like a boss or lacks the abilityto be a boss and won't hire someone to be the boss. TK could have squashed this but he didn't. He could have sat everyone down together and told the so called Elite to quit running to Meltzer with stories and remind them that they helped start the place but Punk was getting them to the next level so everyone quit sniping at each other get the sand out of crotches and start playing on the same team or go home before we become modern day WCW. But TK is too busy on X formerly known as Twitter talking about his bangers and his booker of the year awards.
