So I wanted to get in here and talk about how much potential the Dallas offense showed last night, and how I liked the motion and focus on getting to the rim. I liked how the new hires looked.
But I came away thinking that Utah got a steal with drafting Jared Butler. Dude already looks like a contributor, and learning under Mike Conley will be huge for him.

Same here. I need to finish Legends and Supergirl, the latter of which I’m pretty behind on. I think I caught up with Flash.
I only got two left on Legends, so I should be good there. I was going to shotgun Batwoman on HBOMax, thinking I had more time, but the new season is in like a week lol.

It just occurred to me that the new season for everything is coming up very soon, and I'm still not caught up on all the shows haha. The shortened offseason really messed me up.

I think this is the move, honestly. The funeral episode dropped a lot of seeds for that.

I'd liked Beth being the one to actually figured out Eclipso's game. Wit how he is breaking down the team I'm curious to see if/when Jakeem and Jade come into play to even things up.
I like that the character who seems the most timid was the one to show enough courage to figure it all out.

I mean it was kind of building up the entire episode, but yeah, fuck him. He’s gonna get his shit rocked next week.
Bad thing is, we know that Ted will forgive him and still tell him something uplifting. I'd like them to swerve me on that though.

I knew Nathan was gonna do some slimey shit like that

The deal was Vader stepping in at Halloween Havoc to defend the US title against Nikita for Rude, since Rude was facing Chono for the NWA belt. Rude cut a promo saying that he'd give Vader a shot at the World title should he beat Simmons, to return the favor. It never went any further than that.

Stargirl this week was legit damn creepy and unsettling.

Something I've thought about recently. If Rick Rude isn't hurt at the end of 92, does the Vader in 93 run happen the same way? All signs seem to point to Rude beating Simmons at Starrcade, then when the match is canceled, Simmons immediately drops the title to Vader. I personally think we are getting a Rude run on top until the summer if things happen differently.

In a show full of supervillains its kind of amazing how she has come out the worst parent.
The weird thing is that the villains actually seem to give a shit about their kids. Court is the only one of the heroes with a somewhat supportive family.

Speed Racer jumped to my mind as well, but I think your second point is most likely, in that it's probably intro specific. Most of the production stills looked more like a regular TV show.

I never got the sense of it being "cheap", I just think they are going for a certain feel. I want to actually see a full episode in action before I really decide though.

Yeah, Artemis is hella strong, and has heightened reflexes.
I want to punch Yolanda's mom.

Just caught up to the Stargirl where Eclipso escapes from the Black Diamond and this is such good shit.
That honestly maybe the best live action superhero fight I've ever seen.
The most recent episode was so good and packed an entirely different type of punch. The Yolanda story is really good.

I've looked at a few comparison videos for some games, and they basically look mildly better than they would on a PS4 Pro.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I had *just* finished the Directors Cut for Ghost of Tsushima before I got the new system, but I am sure I will pay for the PS5 upgrade at some point. I think Kena has most of my interest until games like Horizon Forbidden West hit.
Thanks for the heads up on Astro's Playroom, since there is a chance I would have overlooked it.
It also seems like my PS4 games will get a decent little boost too?

Ok, I feel like others may have asked this, but I'm a bozo. I FINALLY got my hands on a PS5, and wanted to know which games to start with. I already have Miles Morales, and I don't like FPS games. Chat me up.

I'll be okay watching this episode if I skip the Coach Beard ep, right? I have no desire to watch an entire episode based around him.
The Beard episode was *really* good, but it doesn't move anything along plot wise, other than his love life. Just character building stuff. It has yet to have any bearing on anything so far.

Ted Lasso was tough for me this week. Anyone who has a father that is no longer with us, and a complicated one at that, may have a hard time with this episode. I honestly cried a lot.

She co-wrote it with J. Holtham, and David Ramsey was director. These things likely explain why it was handled better than usual.
David Ramsey is not a bad TV director tbh. All the episodes he did this season were very good.

Ok, so I might be alone in this, but I thought the most recent episode of Supergirl was mostly really well done??? Usually when a show like this tries to do a message heavy episode, it comes off really hokey and fake. This is one of the few times where I felt like it came off pretty genuine, and didn't need to rework the the motivations of the characters or anything. Didn't Azie Tesfai write this one?

I don't love nor hate Omega, he has qualities I like and qualities I dislike, but AEW Omega is infinitely more watchable than New Japan Omega ever was. Almost feels like working for a televised US mainstream company has forced him to reign in some of his worst tendencies, or maybe those tendencies were always more a 'New Japan thing' that he leaned into with their house style, but whatever way you dice it he's been much more enjoyable in this run than ever before. Working guys like Christian and Bryan obviously helps, mind.
You kinda echoed a similar conversation I just had on Twitter, in that he is actually way more digestible when he dials it back a good bit, and stops acting like he's the smartest guy in the room working some ultra brilliant style. It felt to me like he let Christian and Danielson steer the ship in their matches, and they benefited from that.
It felt a lot less like him just *doing things* and more like everything was earned and felt way more rewarding as a result.
