I was fine with Doomsday being a Zod zombie-clone. I wish I understood what Lex's plan was in unleashing him. Heck, maybe I've forgotten something, but I don't recall what Lex's plan was for any of it. I mean, okay, he wanted to pit Superman and Batman against each other, but why? I googled to see if I forgot something obvious, but this suggests I didn't and this claims that we'll understand his plot once we see the full uncut version.

Or start over with an Earth-Arrow version of Supergirl. Might be interesting to see a version of Supergirl who showed up on Earth to help out Kal-El only for him never to arrive.

But that last part goes against the "speed bump" theory, right? With the Walkers, the old saying has never been more true: whatever doesn't kill them only makes them stronger. So taking away a "speed bump" is to humanity's advantage. Leaving the Wildlings as the first ones in the path of the lance inevitably leads to the Wildlings becoming the tip of the spear that points south. Has Castle Black sent word to King's Landing that shit's going down? I want to say that was mentioned at some point, but I'd think anybody who saw what happened at Hardhome would be thinking of nothing else. Jon Snow got raised from the dead? Hey, that's neat. I can see how Dany is currently "broken" (from a societal standpoint) by being Drogo's window, and clearly Arya was broken down to nothing to be reborn. But what about Sansa? Sure, she went through a horrific ordeal, but all things considered, she seems to be doing reasonably well. Granted, it's still early -- we've only seen a few moments of her since her escape, but she seemed about as good as you could be. I suppose she might be "broken" from a societal standpoint since she's still married to Ramsey, but that wasn't her first marriage, so once Ramsey eats it, she should be okay. I wonder if we should be including Brienne. She's "broken" in the sense that she wants to be a knight, but she can't as she was born a woman.

What was Roose Bolton's plan with Ramsey? I mean, the moment the maester announced the birth of his son, Roose knew it was a race: can he kill Ramsey before Ramsey kills the kid? Was Roose only just now dawning on the fact that Ramsey is an untrustable sociopath?

Yeah, this clearly isn't the full-on end of HYDRA. The disembodied voice confirming the kill said something like "the head has been cut off". You don't need a doctoral degree in Greek mythology to see what comes next.

Seems to me that the consensus opinion is that the top 3 MCU films are Winter Soldier, Avengers, and GotG. Iron Man is well regarded, but it seems rare that it gets above #4 on people's lists. (don't get me wrong -- you're entitled to have whatever you want in your own top tier)

I mean, those characterizations are uh... unique and they made the movie less enjoyable, but at least there's a logic there. (not that I think this was Snyder's intention) Also in the comments there are some interesting thoughts about Thomas Wayne and which character they could have used instead of Lex Luthor.

Yeah, I didn't buy the Secret Warriors freaking out and refusing to cooperate. Coulson found out that Hive might have infected one of them. Did they not believe that was possible? Did they think he was lying to them? It came off as only a slightly more plausible dramabomb than the 97th time somebody drove their car off the road in the Walking Dead.

I'd put Blonsky/Abomination in the Good category. Admittedly, I'm a Tim Roth mark and I didn't hate that movie. I'd also knock Pierce and everybody on ABC down one notch.

I've only seen S1 so far, but I loved D'onofrio as Kingpin physically, yet I totally agree about the Kingpin voice. Overdone.

Wouldn't Power Pack make more sense? I always thought C&D was pretty gritty. I mean, I could see how you could do it in a modern YA way, but I'd still think Power Pack would be the way to go.

I'm not a big Superman guy, but I've kind of wondered about that: There will 24/7/365 be fires, earthquakes, wars, robberies, the next supervillain building a lair inside a dormant volcano to house his megaweapon, etc. How does Clark ever have time to work for the Planet or hang out with Lois? Every second he spends doing that leads to the death of another innocent. Have the comics talked about that?
