Yes, I've mentioned it a lot on here as it being the worst trade the Lakers have ever made. The initial reaction was it was a great trade, but even when they made that deal there were risks since Nash was spending a lot of time laying on his back when he wasn't in Suns games and the Lakers didn't have a reliable backup point guard. Not to mention the draft picks given up. This season was pretty stressful with that whole top-5 protected pick deal, but also it going to the Suns at one point. Pick going to the Sixers doesn't really bug me as much since they're in the East.

I don't think Cousins is getting dealt to LA. Vlade would have to have some big balls to pull that off given how much the Kings fans hate the Lakers and his connection with both teams past.

If the TWolves pass on Towns, LA probably rushes with their pick in about 3 seconds.

I agree with you on that. Lakers deals always come off one-sided in their favor even if they don't work out. More people starting to think the Lakers will pick Russell over Okafor. I'm OK with either one they pick. If they do a deal for Cousins, I think they'd still have somewhere around $8-9 million in cap room for this season. Maybe less. So, they might have enough for someone in that middle pack of free agents, but not a lot. They'd be better off keeping whoever they take at #2, along with keeping Randle/Clarkson add a FA like Aldridge, and still have room for someone else. Its bad timing for them to go after Cousins since the cupboard here is empty if they even just offered #2 and one of Randle/Clarkson. Latest Knicks draft rumor.... Frank The Tank in New York!

Latest from Woj on Kings fielding offers for Cousins! I'd be shocked if LA dealt the #2 pick, Randle, Clarkson and more assets (do they even have those? HA!) and then take Landry's contract as well. I don't see that happening. Lakers are at that stage were they really need to actually add assets to make that sort of deal if its more than just the #2 pick. I won't say it won't happen, but I can't see all that being in a deal.

Gonna be weird to be excited about seeing whoever the Lakers pick at #2 and then seeing him dealt after if that happens.

I'm curious to see who Dallas adds since it almost seems like the only two guys I know are on the team are Dirk and Chandler Parsons. Everyone else seems to be a FA. Do they have a ton of cap room this summer?

Not sure how excited Love would be in Boston selling him joining that big three w/ Robin Lopez and Paul Pierce. I do like Boston's depth and their coach. That's what they should sell him on. That and the team is in the East. Should be interesting to see where he ends up since I assume the Cavs will still have some interest and then you got Boston, LA, Phoenix, NY, maybe Portland and the Texas teams always getting involved on everyone.

Only thing I enjoyed was Super Porky giving everyone 10s just to troll everyone. He was pretty honest in his comments including knocking Blue Panther Jr. and Canelo Casas for not being able to do suplexes for different reasons (BP Jr. was gassed, Casas just sucks). When Porky was judging Boby Zavala, who he liked, he pretended to be looking for a different number paddle, glanced over at Zavala and gave him a 10. Shocker kept hitting Porky with a paddle. Shocker and Hijo del Gladiador are just as awful as the matches. If you don't know what they are saying, just assume Hijo del Gladiador is congratulating them and saying they need to work on their conditioning and Shocker is just saying a "Shockrates quote". I really hate both as judges. The matches were about the same. They took the judges comment about "MAS RAS DE LONA!!!!" (more matwork) too the extreme and now they waste 5 minutes doing it which defeats the purpose of them showing any fire in a 10 minute match. I think Tirantes gave up telling them they had to go all out because they are finding an idol. Tirantes is reaching the point when he's going to ask if Canelo is really related to the rest of the Casas family. He keeps calling him a dummy.

I really can't stand Tom Penn on ESPN. Every time they ask him to do one of those "fix a team" segments, you can see why he's no longer working in a front office.
