Adding a muscle mommy race? Yoshi P truly is the one old guy with his finger on the pulse of The People.

Adam Cole threatening to have Warldow win the title then just forfeit it to him is the stuff of nightmares, isn't one angle where the gimmick is "wrestler is made to look like a stupid bitch by his manager" enough?

My most played game of 2023 on Steam was actually Dead by Daylight lol

A few lesser known things I have wishlisted on Steam to keep an eye on them in 2024. I have zero idea if any of these will turn out well, they're just things that caught my eye whenever the last time I took a sweep of forthcoming Steam titles a few months ago.
Unforetold: Whichstone (CRPG, January 25th early access) https://store.steampowered.com/app/1064120/Unforetold_Witchstone/
Alliance of the Sacred Suns (Grand Strategy, 2024) https://store.steampowered.com/app/1113400/Alliance_of_the_Sacred_Suns/
Robin Hood: Sherwood Builders (Adventure RPG, Q1 2024) https://store.steampowered.com/app/1159420/Robin_Hood__Sherwood_Builders/
Monomyth (Dungeon Crawler, "soon") https://store.steampowered.com/app/908360/Monomyth/
Big Kitty, Little City (Cat Based Content, 2024) https://store.steampowered.com/app/1177980/Little_Kitty_Big_City/
Fallen City Brawl (retro beat em up, "soon") https://store.steampowered.com/app/1717190/Fallen_City_Brawl/
Mandragora (Metroidvania, "soon") https://store.steampowered.com/app/1721060/Mandragora/
Respawn (Action Roguelike, "soon") https://store.steampowered.com/app/1922940/Respawn/
Cook, Serve, Delicious: Re-Mustard! (remaster of Cook Serve Delicious 1, 2024) https://store.steampowered.com/app/2139040/Cook_Serve_Delicious_ReMustard/

Cannot wait to play Skull & Bones and see that you have no meaningful crew customization options whatsoever. Want an interesting gunnery officer? A cool bosun? No. But if you like customization we have cannons in black, black and silver, and black and gold! The choices are endless!

The undercard was honestly pretty strange and full of a lot of whatever. I don't understand why you have a six man title and then have a bunch of rando 8 man matches on PPV.
My unapologetic endgame wet dream here is now Eddie Kingston vs Samoa Joe at some point but let's let that simmer for a while.

The only thing I played that I haven't been chatty about here is Vamipre Survivors, which is the only thing I play on my phone since the phone game is basically identical to the PC version, and it absolutely fucking rules. Other than that everyone already knows what I think.

Listen I know AEW has problems but if they're gonna give me stuff like Kingston vs Danielson I'm going to just overlook a lot of it

My mom made me this book full of photographs from my childhood and some family history, along with some written bits explaining it all. Honestly at 42 it's an incredibly touching gift, I didn't even know what to say.

Crawford is IMO the best boxer on the planet right now but I just can't get past my personal bias over guys that have only 1 fight in a calendar year. Which I realize these days is damn near everyone that's a top guy it seems. Honestly one of the most frustrating things about modern boxing.

I loved how much Double Dragon 2 got out of 2 button combat as a kid. The way you had all the different grapple finishes and whatnot was so damn cool. If it wasn't for that one hellish platforming sequence in I think area 6 or 7 it would be a perfect game.

The Outer Worlds is free today on Epic Games

Honestly I'd watch Andrade and Kingston do a best of 7, that ruled.

Honestly I figure by summer 2024 there will be a bigger sale price on Baldur's Gate 3 plus the creation kit will launch for Starfield and it's entirely possible I also just ignore the year save a couple of Indie Suprises, like whatever the next Vampire Survivors turns out to be, you know?

Two weeks on and I still can't play anything because this update broke like several thousand mods, also all my saves read as corrupted and the game won't keep me logged into the Creations section so I can't even properly save a load order.
That's good shit, pal

Yeah, The Slanneshi setup requires a ton of micro control.
you may want to try the Daemon Prince Chaos Undivided army, fun playing almost "dress-up" with all the upgrades you earn for the Daemon Prince, plus all the different Chaos benefits (including mini-versions of the other Chaos God stuff (like Slaaneshi)
Fun fact: The Daemon Prince's name amongst the TW community is "Daniel". (on the debut stream for him, the Developer recording the video named him Daniel as just a placeholder, and it stuck). It's funny to think, "I am the prince of the four Chaos Gods. I have wounded the god of Kislev unto death. And you may call me... Daniel."
I've played Total War on and off since the late 00's and I still can't tell you how to win relatively even battles with any regularity. I am the most depressing military commander ever.
This game is very hard lol

There were definitely some E3 conferences that were fun to watch on Twitch but it's amazing how the second we didn't have one, everyone was like "this is actually fine" and you pretty much knew that was that.

The buy game button on the steam store is already gone today. This really was an all-timer. Makes you yearn for the simpler times of Bad Rats.

I want to love Castlevania 2 so much. I think it's a failure, in the end. But it's a really interesting one.
