Honestly, I think the match falling a little flat actually says more about Hook’s lack of development than Jericho. Jericho took a bunch of gnarly bumps for him, let him kick out of literally all of his shit, and Hook still couldn’t really get the crowd behind him. Hook really hasn’t figured out how to progress beyond squash/meme wrestler yet. I don’t think that’s talked about enough in regards to how lame this story with Jericho had come across.
Hook sucks. His matches now are exactly the same as when he debuted and he still lacks so many basic skills.
He's just twink Goldberg.

I just can't get on board with the hate on Danielson's selling. Half the guys on the indies do twitching selling they just aren't good at it. I'm not going to turn on the guy because his selling is good. I refuse.

I think the pit fighting show they did last night is way better.

I love sports more than almost anything but even I'm past the breaking point with literally 75% of the ads for televised sporting event being fucking gambling.
I'm doubly salty about this as a former Online Poker Enjoyer who watched the DOJ treat that like it was akin to a cocaine smuggling ring just 15 years ago, but now that the NFL and the MLB get their own pies, oh hey it's a miracle gambling is good now. Fuck you.

That money I dropped on IWTV to see the DEAN show was definitely money well spent. I'm watching the Prestige Roseland 8 show now. Daniel Makabe vs Zack Sabre Jr. main event sounds tasty, plus Minoru Suzuki is going to murder AKIRA. And Alan "5" Angels is their champion? Cool.

On the positive front, add me to the crowd that had fairly low expectations for Copeland in AEW. I was fine with him coming in and having one last showdown with Christian or whatever, but the TNT run has been a pleasantly good surprise. The Penta match was a ton of fun.
