  1.

    Can you read?

I also think venues should toss people who yell shit during performances.

I think a performer does not have a right to "steal" (using the watered down internet definition) money from audience member, because a very small minority are stupid. Not serving alcohol at these events would also help.

You wouldn't feel bad because you wouldn't fucking know who he is.

wasting your mind reading powers here.

And also kill the venue. Booze sale is what keeps comedy clubs afloat.

I doubt he knows that and the info would stop him from making asinine replies.

  2. And to go a little further. If he were in tiny dive bars/clubs, struggling to make money and this was happening, I would feel bad.

You wouldn't feel bad because you wouldn't fucking know who he is.

It's not like he is some feature at the Dayton Funny Bone that turned into a viral sensation after one incident. He is the guy Comedy Central basically have spent seven years trying to replicate. Yeah, he is going to be under the microscope regardless.

  3. Chappelle during his prime (2000-"mid-life crisis") is one of my favorite comedians. Some of the skits on Chappelle's Show will never be touched. But I've never been sympathetic about the "break-down" he had and his subsequent move to Africa. Wahhhh I've reached the pinnacle of my profession that millions dream of attaining and I don't know how to handle the eight figures that my bosses want to pay me Wahhhhh.

You have to look at his bosses though. Unless you're one of the untouchables (Trey and Matt from South Park, Stewart, and now Colbert), they have NO requirement to be loyal to you. Dave probably did not see himself in that category despite the success of the series through two seasons. Look at what Comedy Central did to Katt Williams during the height of his success. He was on the verge of his getting his own Comedy Central series and more specials. Then they pulled the stunt at the Roast of Flava Flav. They treat him shitty before the show, give him no heads up on what other people are going to say, and then give him a script with incendiary racist material targeted toward Flava Flav. Just because Katt gritted his teeth and did it for the money one time doesn't mean that Dave had to over the course of years.

  4.

P&G was really good, due mainly to the performances. Michael Bay still makes shitty movies but this one is definitely not the norm.

Dragged towards the end, but the scene with The Rock and Anthony Mackie in the strip club automatically makes that movie good no matter what.

  5. Would it be that bad if he made it apart if the act? Like do something like start the show off hollering "Im Rick James bitch!!!" Then say something along the lines of "now that that's outta the way" it's better then getting in a fight with the audience fuck once u give those few fans who are there just for the catchphraseez and whatnot are happy and then the people who are their to watch Chappelle be Chappelle can be happy too.

I think it gets tiresome doing it after awhile. Comedians (and the audience as well) just don't like it when people shout shit unrelated to the routine. Sure, there are some that are willing to go along with. You have comics like Mike Epps and Katt Williams doing their stuff from Next Friday and Friday After Next almost verbatim, but I would think part of that is coercion. I doesn't help that Katt Williams has a history with hecklers worse than Dave probably ever will have. If you're shouting material that is ten years old after comics have worked so hard to craft new material, I doubt the reaction from the comic (especially one that doesn't have anything to lose) would be anything other than volatile. I do agree though that it is extremely funny when people get dressed down for doing it.

  6. Apparently, Bellator might be trying to pull a fast one and do the King Mo/Newton interim LHW title fight while Attila Vegh is healthy. Bellator refuted those claims by releasing a medical report from April. However, the chief editor of mmarocks.pl and Tomasz Marciniak (two reputable sources for all things Polish/East Euro MMA) have pretty much said that Vegh would be fine to start training for a fight.

That article from Arnold is pretty misinformed (as is par for the course for him, it appears). Regis' show isn't "averaging" 29K viewers - it bottomed out at 29K. And judging a new network after a week and a half of programming, before their college football and basketball live events have even begun, is fucking retarded. Weekly cards aren't going to happen because ratings are shitty after 12 days. It's a marathon, not a sprint.

Do you work for them? Because you've literally only commented in here when we've talked about the FS channels. Having two FS channels is completely ridiculous. Nobody can make a solid argument for that FS2 channel

Did anyone give a shit about Fight Master at all?

I stopped watching after four episodes.

  11. http://www.flicksandbits.com/2013/08/29/zack-snyders-batman-vs-supermanman-of-steel-sequel-confirmed-to-shoot-in-michagan/55658/

The Michigan Film Office has just officially announced that the upcoming Superman/Batman movie will shoot in Michigan. The film, from director Zack Snyder, brings together the two most iconic Super Heroes of all time – Superman and Batman – for the first time on the big screen. Production on the new film is expected to begin in metro Detroit and throughout Michigan sometime in the first quarter of 2014. Snyder is co-writing the story with David S. Goyer, who is writing the screenplay. Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder are producing the film, which will star Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane.

“This project will further strengthen the reputation of Michigan and metro Detroit as a premier film destination,” said Margaret O’Riley, director of the Michigan Film Office. “We look forward to the spotlight shining on our incredibly talented workforce and the businesses that support our film industry here in Michigan.”

“Detroit is a great example of a quintessential American city, and I know it will make the perfect backdrop for our movie,” stated filmmaker Zack Snyder. “Detroit and the entire state of Michigan have been fantastic collaborators, and we are looking forward to working together on this film.”

  12. Dana said after the show that Wanderlei is out until January, and Chael is adamant about fighting on 11/16. If there was ever a trap fight for Chael, it would be Phil Davis.
