  1. There is a movie called Cyber with Thor of all people coming out early next year. With Paranoia bombing, does anyone really think the Hemsworth brothers inspire fear about technology (hacking specifically)? If they understand anything beyond the basics of an iPhone, I'll be thoroughly surprised.

  3. If you're getting knocked out by running into someone's hip, which I believe is how he earned his latest concussion, I don't think the commission should be just letting you back into the cage. Mo knocked out Munoz before he fought Hamill and Spong KO'd Cane a month or so before he fought Nedkov. Both of those guys then went out into the cage and got concussed again (rather easily I might add). I know there is the whole never discuss what happens in the gym mentality, but they record these training sessions. I'm sure whatever is on those videos would make a lot of these assigned physicians look like clowns for clearing these fighters bout after bout.

  4. The weird thing is I always found Paul really hammy. Like Elba doing the accent in Prometheus, he was always really unnatural sounding. And the awesome Tyrion speech was great but even he felt a bit ott at the end. Mind you I think Dinklage really struggles with the accent at times and it's obvious. For me Harrelson was better than both simply because I bought him as a drunk womaniser with anger issues more than Aaron Paul as a white guy who says bitch and Dinklage as an English nobleman.

I'm also fully aware that I'm in the minority here, not trying to inflame anyone's sensitive opinions.

Maybe it's because I've been watching Woody Harrelson for years in comparison, but I think Dinklage has hit far more of a home run as Tyrion. Sometimes I found it really hard to actually separate Woody from Marty Hart, but I don't hold it against him like I would for Paul. Aaron Paul was good as Jesse, but I never felt in ANY season he brought the show to a different level for more than one or two episodes a season. Aaron Paul cranked up to 11 doesn't really (and shouldn't) constitute the best in the industry. Even though you only need one ep to submit, I can give you probably three for Dinklage and at least two for Woody.

Also, I think the bad accent thing is just a Ridley Scott trend. Idris in Prometheus and Kebbell in The Counselor. I think he's just trolling people at this point to make up for William Hurt's awesome accent in The Robin Hood Movie No One Wanted. I thought Dinklage gave a good account of himself in the Prince Caspian movie.

  5.

Dinklage ain't winning shit if he comes up against the McConaughey

Dinklage has submitted as a supporting actor every year. If he continues to do so this year, he won't come up against McConaughey or Cranston.

FSW doesn't think before he hits the Post/Add Reply button. Forgive him.

  6. If you're a sports fan in general like me, there is literally no free week until the end of the NBA Playoffs (or NHL playoffs depending your preference) in mid-to-late June. That is when the boxing networks tend to only have a card every 3 weeks. There is nothing on the Bellator 120 card that makes me not want to flip back between the NBA playoff games and Marquez vs. Alvarado. It went to the level of a card that should be on Spike.

  7. If it was a Scarlett Johansson in Her scenario where he was only added in post-production, then it would be a different argument. But he was there the whole step of the way. IIRC, Hurt did Elephant Man while Heaven's Gate was still in production. It would have been easy for the director of Elephant Man to find a Derek Mears/Kevin Peter Hall type for production to be Merrick and add Hurt's voice in post while Cimino was still dicking around in Montana.
