Update on Aaron Rodgers.
Minnesota did basically the most annoying thing possible and said they're interested but are going to 'continue monitoring' Rodgers as an option. They will not be signing him "at this point in the offseason." They understand this means he may sign elsewhere or retire.
Basically they're out, but they're not out out.

In the direct antithesis of the fun of Bananaball... the Miami Marlins announced a plan to field a bunch of college/high school/pro washouts as a (unpaid?) 'practice squad'. The thought was they could field this team against their single-A or double-AA team when they needed reps.
MLB has told them they absolutely may NOT do this.

The main issue with that is, I'm sure he'll have a couple of drinks beforehand and well, may not be able to help himself. Remember this is the same guy who decided Madison Square Garden would be a great place to make fun of Puerto Ricans.
