The Phillies apparently have officially benched Ryan Howard.
And the speculation that he will be released grows.
So yeah... that contract worked out well
I heard on NPR of all places this morning that Howard's being shopped to different teams. The $60M+ remaining on his contract though makes him untradeable. I mean, if they're seriously thinking to release him, they might as well eat the majority of the contract and see if someone will give up a couple of B level talents. Don't the Yanke... oh right, no strikes.

Two notes -
1) Sterling is trying to dissolve the "Sterling Trust". If he succeeds, the team cannot be sold without his authorization. BUT... the Trust owes about $500M in loans that would be defaulted on if he dissolves the Trust. So, he would have to sell the club to cover those debts. (lol)
2) If Sterling does win and keep control... Doc wants out.

Also, it really helps to learn how to fly a helicopter. 2 stars means no helicopters, and apparently cops on the ground can't look up, so jump in a helicopter and go up and you'll lose your wanted level quick.

I saw an instagram clip of the line Lana said. In the grand scheme of things, it really wasn't as bas as we know Vince could have wanted it. If there's any heat, who ever scripted the line should be held accountable. Not Lana. She is too hot to get Hassaned.
