Mike McDaniel has agreed to an extension with Miami. He'll be under contract until 2028 now.
Notably, this is the first time a Dolphins HC has been extended since Tony Sparano. (who isn't around to coach anymore)

Columbus has confirmed the death of Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew yesterday in a biking accident near their home in New Jersey.
Johnny was 31.

Still one of my best memories as a fan was Survivor Series 96 and seeing the crowd turn on babyface Shawn Michaels and cheer for Sid to kill him and Jose Lothario.

Danny Jansen will become the first player to play for both teams in the same game. Alex Cora said he'd start the resumed game at C, since Reese McGuire got outrighted to the minors.

Philadelphia has put Ryan Johansen on waivers -- with the stated intent to terminate his contract for material breach.
He got traded from Colorado to them and basically refused to play for them or their AHL team due to "injury." The Flyers have now determined he was never injured and just didn't want to play in Allentown.
Strangely enough the team that may benefit the most out of this is Nashville, because if the breach of contract is upheld, they get $4 million in cap money because they were paying half his salary.
